Jasper Hale felt glued to the floor as every emotion, every dark thought, everything that he had tried so hard to shove down for the sake of feeling guilty finally crashed down like a tidal wave, "come on Uncle Jazz... It's just a bedroom"... He had only ever been in there once and that was for Renesemee's sake... "It's like a tomb... A ghost memory of her"...
"I know how you feel, Uncle Jazz... But the answers are in here... In that letter... They have to be" Renesmee Cullen was desperate at this point she'd sell her soul to get her Auntie and Uncle back together... "Do you think this is how she felt? Wondering if any of it was worth the pain?"
Renesmee blew a puff of air through her nose as her arms crossed over her chest, "definitely but she still did it, she still read the letter because she loves you, are you seriously going to let her down now?" those words were the harsh dose of reality her Uncle needed and his hand wrapped around the doorknob shoving the door open...

Leah Clearwater backed up with surprise as the white door suddenly swung open, creaking loudly, but Leah's attention wasn't focused on the door slamming against the wall, no her brown eyes were too busy scanning over Addison Cullen, taking in her figure...
She had lost weight, too much weight... She looked like the literal definition of skin and bones... Her once beautiful and calming golden eyes were now a pitch-black and the purple shadows under her eyes were much more prominent...
If any human got a paper cut she would probably turn rabid, hell she would probably turn rabid at the sound of a beating heart which is why Leah tried to control the harsh thumping in her chest...
"Oh, Addie"...

Soft melodic hums echoed through the large bathroom, the sunshine poured in through the open windows and the scent of eucalyptus and mint was strong from the bath salts Leah had added into the warm water along with the bubbles that Addison was mindlessly playing with as Leah gently washed her with the strawberry shampoo, lathering it into her scalp making the vampire practically purr from the much-need affection.
"Ouch! Fuck me"... Fred Cullen exclaimed with pain as he crashed into another wall trying to walk around the large condo with his golden eyes closed. He had bumped into several walls, pictures, and what he thought was a vase but it could have been a window all he knew was it sounded like glass...
"Freddy you moron, you can open your eyes, she's covered by bubbles. I added enough to fill a mansion" Leah spoke, rolling her eyes with slight annoyance as Fred finally cracked open one eye noticing that Addison's head was the only thing visible since she had strunk further into the bubbles.
"You could have told me that before I smashed into several walls and possibly broke a window, trying to be a polite gentleman but nooo". A tiny smile tugged at the corners of Addison's lips before falling back down to a thin line, "here you go mo- ma'am animals blood from the butchers, and it's fresh".
Fred carefully placed the glass filled to the almost brim with thick red liquid on the edge of the large bathtub with a mocking bow that made Leah splash him with the warm water. "Please go be a dork elsewhere".And then it happened...

A small giggle escaped Addison's mouth without control at the shocked and offended expression on Fred's face when Leah splashed him with the warm water... "Is- Is this funny to you?" Fred asked as his hand carefully dipped into the water before coming back up and splashing the werewolf woman in the face, making Addison quickly cover her mouth with her hand biting back a giggle as Leah playfully growled, wiping her eyes.
"Oh, this means war!" Leah exclaimed before splashing the baby vampire and soaking his t-shirt and jeans, Addison could no longer hold back her laughter that was until the warm water suddenly splashed her in the face making her cough and spit out the water with surprise.
Leah and Fred cackled like crazy people suddenly turning on the vampire in the tub continuing to splash her with the water and spilling it on the marble flooring. Addison was trying to shield herself and fight back as the werewolf and baby vampire worked together. Both finally glad to finally hear some real laughter from Addison Cullen...
Without thinking Addison reached out and grabbed the two by their wrists, yanking them into the large bathtub with all her strength and completely soaking their clothing. "Oh, you bitch!" Leah practically cackled as Freddy's lanky legs hung over the bathtub, holding his stomach as laughter violently rumbled his body, and Addison leaned her head against the wall, unable to calm her laughter...

Addison was comfortably sandwiched in the middle of Leah and Fred, all clean and in dry clothes, the small group was silent, no carefree laughter echoed off the walls, only tense silence as they stared up at the white ceiling... That was until Addison decided to speak... "What does it hurt so much?"
Leah and Fred glanced over at the woman with sad gentle eyes as she heavily sighed, folding her hands across her stomach catching a glimpse of her wedding ring... "I just wanted him to feel how I felt when he just disappeared... I wanted him to understand how I'm hurting... But I'm just further hurting myself... I just don't understand"...
"It's... The fucked-up reality of soulmates"... Fred sadly spoke, repeating Leah's words from months ago... "I think it's easy to be wrong, you know? I mean marriage itself isn't supposed to be easy... But I think you're hurting because you love him and you don't want to be away from him... But you need some boundaries"...
Leah unconsciously smiled at the teenager, she wasn't used to people actually listening to her speak other than Addison of course but here he was...

"Freddy's right, Addie. Every good lasting relationship has boundaries and no offense but Jasper Hale is a fuckin idiot for ignoring those boundaries. You need to tell him no siding with Alice during arguments, and no talking about you behind your back once again a dick move"...
"And definitely no leaving you behind- And take a damn vacation, alone, away from all the fuckin drama".
"But what- What if he doesn't want me... I mean I left for months... Just for spite"... Addison was unconsciously twirling and twirling her wedding ring, thinking about her husband... thinking about Jasper... thinking about her family... thinking about Renesmee...
Fred chuckled at what he thought were stupid worried words. "Addison the dude loves you- He- He hunted me down for you! He'd probably kill for you! If that's not love I don't know what is!" Leah vigorously nodded her head at his rushed and loud words. "Freddy's right. You two have had a tough few months- hell a tough year but he never stopped loving you"...

"Well Fuck... Where do we even go from here"... Fred sighed gently, squeezing Addison's hands, making her smile. "I say we spend a few more days here, actually enjoy the sights, then we go home to the cowboy"...
"Home... I'm not actually sure I know where that is any more"...

A/n~ Y'all should be proud of me because this morning I was lacking motivation and literally an hour ago I finally got up from my chair, brushed my hair and teeth, and ate something. And after I post this I'm gonna go wash my face. So YAY me! Also, this is your little reminder to drink some water :) Kay I need to do it as well so go do it!
Also Also the very first paragraph with Jasper and Renesmee is a peek at the next chapter to keep ya'll guessing, it has nothing to do with this chapter. :)
