4 hours later, Nami's POV
"I still can't believe we're on Elbaf after so long!" Usopp said" I know right! Everything is huge!" Luffy gushed" I feel small at the moment even though I'm in my reindeer form." Chopper said," we're in the land of giant, so why is Luffy wearing a sweater with the hood up?" Sanji asked," I told you on the ship that we're a yonko crew now and he's a yonko captain after Wano, I prefer to be safe than sorry so he doesn't reveal his identity at all." I said rolling my eyes.
"Thor said Shanks got on the island 45 minutes after we got back on the ground, it's nearly been 5 hours, I smell him but I don't know he is." Chopper said, Luffy giggled" He's here, how much do you feel it?" He asked," with the playful tension in the air that's like a thick soup he has to be close." Chopper said," good point, I feel like I can't take it, back when Monaco was at the party I could take, now I barely can." Sanji said.
"What are we going to do if we run into them?" I asked," play cat and mouse for a while hoping Shanks doesn't use observation to find us off the bat." Luffy said grinning" whatever you say, captain, I don't give a crap." I said" are you seriously still pissed from the lynching back at Mock Town 2 years ago? It was a life lesson I learned from him, I was angry myself when he laughed it off, I understood when the sea king happened, you should too and not send divine judgment when you see him." Luffy said.
"I was telling you to fight back and you got beat upon anyway, I don't care," I said" ok, so you want to see Luffy get his arm torn off by a sea king like Shanks' was?" Sanji asked I paled" nevermind I said that, sorry, but I intend on getting him back, if it rains I'm chucking a mudball in his face." I said, Luffy laughed out loud" oh that'd be priceless!" He guffawed" we both want to, the teasing you told me about." I said when Usopp giggled.
"Your nickname, little anchor, that's hilarious." He said, Luffy grumbled," I am dreading the reactions Franky and Zoro are going to have since I never told them, if he does go blurting it out I'm giving him the gum-gum pistol and it'll feel like a bullet." He said when we passed 4 people.
One of which being Shanks, wearing a black trench coat strung over his shoulders, a grey-haired man wearing a navy blue trench strung over his shoulders, Mac, and a fat man wearing a pinstriped shirt a few sizes too small but didn't tell Luffy" and it broke." Chopper said weakly" what do you mean?" Sanji asked" hey! Who are you?" One of them called" that's what I meant." Chopper squeaked.
"Who?" I asked," you with the straw hat, who are you?" He asked, looking over to Luffy his eyes are as wide as saucers as a wide grin came onto his face when Usopp turned to them" I'm just a humble wrestling representative for afro man here, well he used to have an afro before he shaved it off and we're just here as a pitstop before we leave for the island where the match is at, you didn't have to ask." Usopp bluffed.
"Where did you get the straw hat from?" Shanks asked, a mischievous tone in his voice trying to catch him off guard" we got it at an auction from this random guy who didn't need it anymore, and get this, it's 50 years old, it's a relic man. We cherish the hat, it's been through its fair share of boxing matches, it's our good luck charm and has been for the past couple years." Usopp said.
"Oh yeah, I hope that's a lie since I got that hat when I was 9 from Roger and I don't remember being at an auction where I gave it to you as a good luck charm." He said taking a step forward" we were all at the auction and we won that hat for a fortune in beris, I can back him up, dude." I said fully turning to him.
"Cut the crap and run! Nami, stall him!" Luffy ordered, Usopp fired a trampolia and launched himself screaming, Chopper booked at fast as he could, Luffy slingshotted away and Sanji took off doing airwalk trailed by panicked laughter" dammit! I'll get you back!" I shouted after Luffy" they left in a hurry." Shanks said," oh course, they're not crazy enough to go against the equalizer of the yonko, Akagami Shanks." I said.
"You know me?" He asked" what do you think, I spent 3 hours in a bar with you when I was 8! You should've recognized me when my first wanted poster was released!" I said holding my climatact at my side" he was too busy drooling over the picture like a pervert." Mac said shaking his head' why am I not surprised?' I thought" well I'm the navigator of the crew, fog tempo!" I said
Releasing a flog cloud, I extended the rod hitting Shanks in the gut then launched off the trampoline screaming bloody murder" Nami!" Sanji yelled catching me" thanks." I said," the others are at the house, let's go." He said and we left.
Usopp's POV
Crashlanding in the forest I groaned in pain" ow, that hurt, why didn't I fire a crash pad to land on?" I asked myself" come on! Aren't you going to agree with me on this?" Someone asked, quickly scaling a tree I looked down seeing Monaco and my dad walk over to the crater before looking down at it.
"What caused this?" Dad asked," didn't you hear screaming before the crash we heard?" Monaco asked," yeah I did but the person isn't here." Dad said, smirking I took out a rotten egg star, put it in the slingshot, and fired, hitting dad on top of his head" oh that stinks!" Monaco said waving his arms around trying to waft the horrible smell away and failing while dad started picking the shell pieces out of his hair.
"I can have a tosser in the river to get what I can off then have a shower when I get back to the ship, no big deal." He said, shaking my head I fired another one hitting Monaco in the same place causing him to yelp then move to another tree with a seaweed star intending to try and not to get caught" right back at you, ya can't complain now." Dad said," I don't care, this is disgusting." Monaco groaned.
Grinning maniacally I loaded 2 tobacco stars and fired them in quick succession now having them covered in both hot sauce and rotten eggs and continued firing while moving around" come out wherever you are and face us!" Dad yelled," not a chance in hell!" I shot back and continued covering them until I was nearly out of both rotten eggs and hot sauce" get back here!" Monaco yelled.
Tree swinging to the tree line and landed giggling, I have one hot sauce star left, firing a trampolia I launched myself into the air at an angle, looking over my shoulder I screaming shrilly seeing Monaco coming after me" get back here!" He yelled, using my weight to turn I took out the last hot sauce star and fired it into his mouth causing him to scream in heat-induced agony sending him back to the ground.
"I told you that wouldn't work!" Yasopp yelled, turning back around I continued flying before I saw Shanks, Benn, Roux, and Mac walking toward the house, in fact being a block away by giant standards then realized I'm going to land on one of these guys as a crash mat, I laughed a little bit and kept silent.
30 seconds later I crashed on top of him causing him to faceplant into the ground, Mac and Benn fell apart laughing their butts off" why does this have to happen? First I'm hit with an extending rod and now this." He rasped" probably because you didn't use observation to see the meteor about to crash on top of you." Mac said smirking" oh shut up, now get off of me." He said.
"Sorry about that, I just needed a crash mat," I said hopping off of him and running for it laughing maniacally taking a shortcut to the house where Yamato is hanging out outside the door" what happened and why do you smell like a rotten egg?" She asked gagging a little bit" I was messing around with my dad and Monaco using rotten egg and hot sauce stars, oh and Shanks and Benn are on the way here." I said.
"Luffy told me before he went inside, I look forward to seeing the shenanigans in a little while," She said, going inside I saw Luffy bouncing around the room in excitement" I'm guessing you heard what I said?" I asked," yeah he did, I don't know what he's planning and I don't think I want to know." Nami said putting a hand on her face.
"I plan on slingshotting myself into him and tickling the crap out of him." He said," what do you want me to do?" Chopper asked," I agree, with them, what should I do?" Brook asked," you play dead and Chopper, you remain in your reindeer form and don't speak until he asks for your name to freak him out." I said, Chopper snorted" roger that." He said this is going to be fun.
