Pain. Pure pain.
Terror. Pure terror.
Spitfire took off his helmet.
Tears streaked down his face. His pupils were dilated, and his facial expressions seemed cold and hard.
"What is going on?" I choked. He did not respond, rather falling to his knees, sobbing. His blaster skidded across the ground. Spitfire's finger just pulled that trigger, putting a hole in my heart. He seemed conflicted, muttering something under his breath while shaking vigorously. The force felt so cold and painful. It was like the galaxy had just torn in half.
Just like my heart.
The starry night sky faded out of my vision. I felt myself separating from my body.
Was this my final moment?
Spitfire. My first love, my murderer.
Was the last face I ever saw.
