Dan had no other choice but to get Phil to go to councelling after that incident. He had been doing so well.
Dan just refered to this as a setback, constantly reminded Phil of how he would soon easilt get back on his feet. Soon.
The councelling helped. Months had passed and Phil was alot happier. He had an urge to cut occasionally but Dan was there to help him through it.
And so, as 6 months flew by, Phil would visit a councellor once a month with Dan.
And he still had a slight stutter, but it was gradually fading.
Dan made sure he did plenty of stuff to get Phil's mind off things.
One of which, was to take him out constantly. Because he loved him so much he wanted to show him off.

"Phil you look beautiful." Dan said breathlessly, staring at his husband who was cureently looking at himself in the mirror wearing a tight blue shirt and skinny black jeans.
"I d-do?" Phil giggled happily.
"You do." Dan smiled, making his way to Phil and wrapping his arms around his waist from behind. "I want to keep you to myself and be mine but I also wanna show yoi to the whole world to let them know you're mine."
Phil blushed madly. "I-I...Dan...R-Really?"
Dan giggled, poking Phil's cheeks from behind and resting his head on his shoulder. "Yes of course. You're so fucking beautiful and sweet everytime I look at you it takes my breath away."
Phil felt the butterflies in his stomach going crazy now. "D-Dan!"
Dan smiled sadly. "You're stuttering alot."
"I-It's because you're m-making me n-nervous and b-blush!" Phil giggled, twirling around and hugging Dan.
Dan kissed Phil's cheek happily. "Good, because you make the butterflies in my stomach go crazy when you say stuff like that so I can give you the same. Now shall we get going? Dinner reservation are at 8." Dan smiled sheepishly, trying to change the subject as he grabbed Phil's hand.
Phil giggled, queezing Dan's hand. "Let's go."
