I leave Mia for a moment with my mom, Lizzie, Sebastian and Mackie and go in search of the blonde. I'm very adamant to talk with her because I'm done with her attitude. I was feeling bad because of her behavior, Mia was feeling bad too and I don't let her ruin the first time I have with my best friend after over a month.
After a minute, I notice Florence and I immediately walk over to her and clear my throat for the attention when I check that she doesn't do anything important. She turns around with anxious expression and it turns into surprised one when she sees me again.
"Can we talk for a second, please?" I plead quietly, looking directly into her eyes.
"Em, sure. What's up?" She asks after she makes sure that we're alone.
"What is your problem?" I blurt out without beating about the bush and Flo widen her eyes in the surprise at my bluntness.
"I don't understand...? I don't have one?" She trails off hesitantly and I huff out annoyed.
"You were rude to me and Mia. I don't know what you have against her, but I don't like how you treat me or her. So, if you don't want to tell me your reasons, it's fine by me, I won't force you, but I won't tolerate how you speak to us, okay?" I tell her sternly and she gulps visibly.
"I-I... I'm sorry. I d-didn't mean to..." She mumbles, her face shows the real remorse. I think she just understood of the seriousness of this situation because she looks down in shame. "I'm sorry, Issie. Truly" She adds as she looks at me with purse sadness and guilt.
"You know I can't be mad at you, but please, try for me? Mia is my best friend and I want you to get along with her" I say, stepping closer to the blond and grabbing her hand gently.
"Okay. You're right, I should be nicer" She replies in agreement and I smile finally. "How about we'll go for the ice creams later?" She proposes shyly and I quirk my eyebrow.
"You don't have some important things?"
"They're not so important, I can reschedule them for tomorrow morning" She explains and I nod in understanding. "I have only a couple of the interviews after the panel ends, so I'll text you?"
"Sounds great, Flo. Thank you for trying" I murmur gratefully and she nods with a happy, real smile.
We talk for a moment longer before Flo needs to go to prepare herself for the panel, so I return to Mia and we go to take our seats.
Panel starts a few minutes later and for the beginning is quite boring. I may like Marvel movies and stuff related to them, but I'm not sure if I like some new ideas for movies. Kevin shows up and starts talking about phase four and Eternals. Maybe the whole movie is not interesting for me, but watching Angelina Jolie on screen is definitely interesting.
The second project that Kevin introduces is The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. And now, it's finally the fun part. I start applauding when I see Sebastian and Mackie coming on scene. Mackie has Captain America's shield with him and after saying hellos to the fans, he gives the shield to Sebby. I smile widely, seeing him the shield and then he looks in my direction, winking at me. I laugh when Mackie wants to take back the shield, but some lady comes in and takes it away from them both.
"I love them so much" Mia whispers and I nod in agreement. They're hilarious.
The moment for Shang-Chi passes quickly and almost the best part of this panel comes. WandaVision. I applaud loudly, at the sight of Lizzie and Paul, but mostly Lizzie. I feel so happy that I can call her my family.
She waves awkwardly to the crowd and I shake my head amusedly, she's such a dork. I listen carefully as she talks, I just love seeing her so engage in her own work. I personally think that she's one of the best actress ever, but I can be a little biased.
Loki's part is interesting, but it passes rather quickly, just like Shang-Chi. But at the end, I hear almost silent vibrations inside my purse and I look at my phone. I have two new messages from Florence. It brings a smile to my face with ease as I unlock the phone and read them.

I shake my head with a bright smile and lock my phone before I rest it on my lap, just in time when everyone starts to sing happy birthday. Then it clicked in my brain that Benedict had a birthday yesterday. I join in and sing the song with Mia. I love this man with my heart, he's the sweetest even if I don't know him well. My controversial opinion? I prefer him over Robert in Sherlock, but I'll never admit that to anyone other than Mia.
Next comes Jeremy and look again at my phone, because I don't like this man too much. He's nice, but he gives me weird vibes and he was talking stupid, sexist things about Natasha, so in some ways, he was talking about my mom. Which is not cool and I didn't forgive him so easily like my mom did.
When Thor casts comes, I put down my phone, but keep it on standby because I want to do many embarrassing photos of Flo and mom when they come on the stage. I lean to my side and nudge Mia, gaining her attention.
"What?" She groans, looking at me.
"Natalie is so hot, don't you think?" I tease the brunette, knowing that she has a crush on her since she turned twelve and found out that she likes girls too.
"Shut up" She mumbles as she pushes my head away from her. "Wait for your crush to show up, puta" (bitch) She adds in a shush tone and I roll my eyes, moving further away from her and cross my arms over my chest.
"I don't have any crush" I respond way too quickly for my liking and Mia catches it too.
"Ha! Good joke, Bella" She chuckles and I only groan quietly in annoyance. I tell her way too many things that she uses later to harass me.
"Shh, my mom is gonna come now" I hiss to her. Party because the cast leave the stage, but I want to change the topic too. I'm glad that Mia doesn't hold a grudge to the blonde after I told her about my talk with Flo.
But we stop talking when Kevin announces Black Widow and the room erupts with screams. I lift my phone and get ready my camera for taking a lot of photos. Kevin invites firstly the director and David right behind her. And then finally it's time for Florence.
"As Yelena Belova, Florence Pugh!" Kevin shouts, announcing the blonde.
"Yey!" I yell excited and applaud very loudly, almost embarrassing, but who cares. The crowd shouts too, so my yelling is covered. I feel a finger poking into my side and I turn my head in Mia's direction with an annoyed expression. "Yes?"
"Your girlfriend is pretty" She giggles and I flick her off fast.
"Shut up!" I hiss. She's too loud and we don't want to bring any attention to us. "You're making people looking in our way" I whisper-yell to her, shushing her.
I don't really mind her jokes about Florence being my girlfriend, but only when she does it privately, not around so many people. She looks around and when she sees that I'm right, she mumbles 'sorry' and shrinks into her seat. I'm glad it's pretty dark in the audience, because I know I started blushing when I heard the word 'girlfriend' even if it's not true.
Flo smiles widely in the directions of her fans and starts doing funny faces. I laugh at her goofiness, but I can't deny, she looks so fucking beautiful. When she was walking on the stage, she looked a bit nervous, but now it completely disappeared.
She looks around the crowd before her eyes crossed with mine. I give her a small wave and she winks to me with a smirk. After a few second of intense eye contact, her head turns in her left side and only then, I shake myself from admiring the gorgeous blonde and notice that my mom begins to walk on the scene already. I applaud with everyone else with the same emotions that I did for Flo. Mom is walking so proudly and I admire her for that. She knows people love her and she's trying her best to be the role model everyone wants. I'm so proud and happy that she finally got her own movie. She fucking deserved at least that after so many years of being sexualizing and not enough appreciated just because she's a woman.
The whole panel is really awesome, but honestly, I can't look away from Florence for too long. I certainly can't wait for the result of their work and I'm happy to be around creating the movie.
A bonus is that I met Florence and I can't wait to see what it's going to happen next with us.
