"Take a breath will you?" Chris yelled
"Why? It's not going to take away the fact that you slept with him! Street Chris! We work with him! I'm his boss for god sake!" I yelled as I paced up and down
"It wasn't supposed to happen, I never meant to!" Chris yelled
"We've had 2 kids together! And we've been married for 8 years!" I yelled as tears started to stream down my face
I met Chris 12 years ago on the job, I took over the D team after Hondo left. I instantly fell in love with her and after a few years we got married. We have 2 kids together, Lucas and Anna.
"What am I supposed to tell the kids? That uncle street broke up mom's relationship?!" I yelled
"You don't have to tell them! We can act like this never happened!" Chris said as our phones went off
We got called into work, we arrived a short time later and after being filled in from Hicks, I walked into brief the team.
"Hey boss!" Street said
However I just walked past him, attracting some looks from the team
"Santo Morrison, he was caught buying cigarettes from a local store. We found him however lost him. We've got a location and I need us to run on it. Got it?" I said bluntly
"Everything okay boss?" Luca asked
"Just peachy" I said as my eyes flipped from Chris to street
The team then got up and got changed. We then piled into black Betty and started to drive. I explained everything to the team
"Chris I wasn't you with street today" I said
"Uhm okay" She added
After a long day we had caught Santo, we were all in the locker room
"Have I done anything to get under your skin?" Street asked as he looked at me
"What?! Other than sleeping with my wife?" I yelled
The teams eyes widened
"You told her" Street sighed
"I had to" Chris defended herself
"Hey it was coming wasn't it? She got with me and then I bring you onto MY team and you do this to me?! To my kids? You know the ones that call you uncle street?!" I yelled
Street just took a step back
"What nothing to say? Or did you say it all to Chris that night?" I yelled before storming out
Chris then went to run after me but was stopped by deacon
"Don't" He said
I then arrived home later that night to see Lucas and Anna waiting for me
"Where's mom?" Lucas asked
"Come here guys" I said as I opened my arms and sat on the couch
They both came over and I pulled them close
"Moms not going to be sleeping here anymore, but you can see her any time you want" I explained
"Why mommy?" Anna asked
"Yeah why doesn't mom sleep here anymore?" Lucas asked
"Sometimes parents fall out of love and we try our best to make it work for you little rascals!" I said as tickled them
"Mommy!" Anna laughed
"Stop!!" Lucas screamed
"See! We're going to be just fine" I said as I smiled
