(It has been over 30 minutes since Riya's treatment started, and Manik's worried as hell for her. Cabir, too, is there with him and is concerned about seeing Manik's current state. As Manik is pacing around the corridor for the last half an hour, Cabir goes to him to make him understand.)
Cabir- Bhai, please relax. Kuch nahi hoga Bhabhi ko. Theek ho jayengi vo.

(Manik takes a sigh and thinks something.)
Manik- Uss ko call kar ke dekh le. Agar college mein hi hai vo to ask her to go home. Usse ghar jaake baat karta hoon main.

(Cabir nods his head in a yes and leaves from there. Manik then again looks at the OT- his eyes full of fear and worry. He then sits on the bench in the corridor and keeps looking at the OT, tapping his foot on the floor continuously, depicting his stress and concern for her.)
Manik (slowly)- No, no, no. Kuch nahi hoga Riya ko. She will be absolutely fine. She won't leave me alone. Yes. I know. Mujhe ye sab sochna hi nahi chahiye. Kuch nahi hone wala hai Riya ko. Vo bilkul theek hai.

(He closes his eyes as voices from the past echo in his mind and scare him more. He takes deep breaths to control himself and further consoles himself.)
Manik (slowly, to himself)- Calm down, Manik. It's going to be okay. Stay calm.
(He covers his face with his hands, and the whole thing that happened replays in his mind and anger overpowers him. He then quickly calls someone.)
Person- Yes, sir.
Manik (fuming in anger)- Mujhe uss fashion show ki puri CCTV footage chahiye. Aur agar kuch bhi info milti hai culprit ke baare mein to usse dhundna shuru karo.
[Manik (fuming in anger)- I want complete footage of that fashion show. And if you find any clue about the culprit, then find him as soon as possible.]
Person- Okay, sir. Your work will be done.
(Meanwhile, somewhere else in the hospital, Ridhaan has just got free after discharging a patient and is returning to his cabin when he hears the nurses talk.)
Nurse 01- Bohot chot aayi hai Riya Mam ko. Aur Manik Sir bhi bohot pareshaan lag rahe the. Maine unhe itna stressed kabhi nahi dekha hai kisi ke liye.
[Nurse 01- Riya mam is badly injured. And Manik sir also seemed very upset. I have never seen him so stressed out for anyone.]

(Ridhaan rushes from there and finds Manik sitting outside the OT.)
Ridhaan- Manik.
(Manik stands up as Ridhaan comes to him.)
Ridhaan- How's she, Manik? What did the doctors say?
Manik (slowly)- They are treating her. It's been over 30 minutes.
Ridhaan- You don't stress, okay? She will be fine. Just relax.
Manik (slowly)- Hmm.
(Ridhaan then goes inside the OT and Manik looks on.)
(Cabir comes back and tells Manik that Mukti has reached home safely. Just then, Ridhaan comes out of the OT with the other doctors.)
Manik- How's she, Ridhaan? She's fine, right?
Cabir- Doctor, there is no major issue, right? She is fine, right?
Ridhaan- Relax, you guys, please. She is out of danger and completely fine.
(Manik sighs relief on hearing this, and Cabir, too, is relieved. And Ridhaan smiles, seeing Manik's worry and Cabir's concern for Riya, that finally, she has found people who genuinely care for her and love her.)
Doctor 01- She has injured her foot badly, Mr Malhotra. There were glass pieces stuck in her wound. Unn ko nikaal diya hai hum ne, but the injury is a little deep, so make sure she doesn't put pressure on her foot. I will advise complete bed rest for at least 2 weeks. Let the wound recover properly nahi to baad mein issues honge.

Ridhaan- She is not conscious right now, but you can go inside and see her.

(The doctors leave from there, and Manik turns to Ridhaan.)

(Ridhaan goes from there, and Cabir looks on sadly at Manik, as he has never seen Manik this worried and distressed for someone. Even when everything was good between them, Manik was never so tense for someone. He was always an introverted kid and had no close friends. He didn't go to vacations or parties like the other kids because his childhood was crushed under the burden of responsibilities his parents inflicted upon him. He never got to live his childhood like a normal kid. And to add to all this were Raj and Neyonika's outlandish things with him.)
(Raj Malhotra, the most prominent businessman of his time, when he came to know that his son wished to be a painter instead of a businessman when he grew up, he left no stone unturned to destroy his dream and snatch his only peace from him. He knew colours gave him happiness and the peace and calm of mind he needed. But his greed for money overpowered the negligible amount of love he had for his son.)
(Neyonika Malhotra, for whom nothing comes above money. She came from an average family, and her only dream was to marry someone rich and handsome. She was undoubtedly beautiful, so Raj Malhotra fell in love with her when they were in college and got her dream man in him. They got married after graduation, and everything changed after that. Raj gave Neyonika all the luxuries she ever dreamed of, and all Neyonika gave him was- love (fake love, actually).)
(But the turning point in their lives came 03 years later when Neyonika got pregnant with Manik. Raj was busy expanding his business, so a child was not something he wanted then. For Neyonika, who was busy enjoying her new luxurious life, the pregnancy news hindered her smooth-going life. And all this planted the seed of hatred for the unborn child in their hearts, and the blessing every parent wishes to receive turned out to be a curse for them, but that was what they thought. They lost the purest form of love they would receive from their child in their greed for money and luxuries.)
(Returning to the present, Riya gets shifted to a private ward, and Manik goes inside to see her.)
(Manik enters inside and shuts the door slowly. He then looks at Riya, lying unconscious on the hospital bed with a white bandage wrapped around her head and her right foot on a pillow. He takes slow steps towards her and stares at her for a few moments when he reaches close to her. Putting his phone on silent, he sits on the stool near her bed, holds her hand with both hands, and plants a soft kiss on her hand.)
Manik (slowly)- You are safe.
(He gets silent again and keeps looking at her face. She stays unconscious for more time, and he unknowingly falls asleep near her hand because she is tired and stressed, still firmly clutching her hand.)
(Manik is still sleeping near Riya when her hand moves, a sign that she is getting conscious. She opens her eyes but shuts them again when the bright light falls on her eyes. The movements wake Manik too, and he gets startled for a second but calms down when he sees her conscious.)
Manik- Riya.
(He gets up and stands next to her, and she opens her eyes slowly and looks at him.)
Riya (slowly)- Manik.
(His happiness knows no bounds, and a big smile comes to his face after seeing her awake. She then tries getting up, and he helps her sit up and places a pillow behind her back. He then makes her drink a glass of water, which she haves quietly. He then checks if the pillow is placed adequately under her foot or not, and she keeps observing all his actions. He is then about to sit on the stool when she holds his arm and stops him.)
Manik- What happened?
Riya- Vahan mat baitho. Yahan baitho naa. Mere paas.
[Riya- Don't sit there. Sit here. Close to me.]
Manik- But tumhe comfortable nahi hoga aise...
[Manik- But you won't be comfortable like...]
Riya- Mujhe theek rahega Manik. Tum baitho.
[Riya- It will be okay to me, Manik. You sit.]
(She keeps holding his arm, and he settles down on the bed, close to her. She then notices that he is not looking into her eyes and is behaving differently. She sighs, holds up his hand with both hands, and then kisses it softly, forcing him to look at her.)
Manik (slowly)- What are you doing?
Riya- Tum to meri taraf dekh bhi nahi rahe ho. To tumhara attention lene ke liye kar rahi hoon ye sab.
[Riya- You are not even looking at me. So I am doing all this to get your attention.]
Manik- You already have my attention. What should I do now?
(He tries to take his hand back from her grip, but she tightens her hold, stopping him from doing so.)
Manik (looking here and there)- What are you doing, Riya?
Riya- Apni feelings share karo mere saath.
[Riya- Share your feelings with me, Manik.]
(He stops protesting to take his hand back but doesn't look at her.)
Riya- I know ye sab...jo kuch bhi ye hua hai, this was not expected, Manik. Aur mujhe ye bhi pata hai ki tum kitne khush the iss fashion show ki wajhe se. I saw you smiling by heart when I was walking on the ramp. Aur ab jab se mujhe hosh aaya hai tab se tum meri taraf dekh bhi nahi rahe ho.
[Riya- I know all this...all this that has happened, this was not expected, Manik. And I also know how happy you were because of this fashion show. I saw you smiling by heart when I was walking on the ramp. And now, since I have got conscious, you are not even looking at me.]

[Riya (gently)- Nothing has happened to me, Manik. And these physical injuries will be cured in some days too. But your internal and emotional wounds won't be healed if you don't share them, Manik.]
Manik- Tum bohot zyaada soch rahi ho Riya. Aisa kuch nahi hai.
[Manik- You are overthinking, Riya. There's nothing like that.]
Riya- Main zyaada nahi soch rahi hoon Manik. Iss ek mahine mein itna to main tumhe jaan hi chuki hoon. Aur abhi jab mujhe hosh aaya tha aur maine tumhari taraf dekha tha naa, mujhe tabhi samajh aa gaya tha that you are not okay.
[Manik- I am not overthinking, Manik. I have known you enough this month. And when I got conscious and looked at you, I came to know at that moment only that you are not okay.]
(He looks down and bites his lips to control his emotions, and she looks on sadly at him. She looks concerned as he tightens his hold on her hands. She takes a deep breath and cups his face softly, but he still keeps looking down.)
Riya (with love)- Manik. Look at me, please. Kya ho gaya baba? Mujh se share karo naa please.
[Riya (with love)- Manik. Look at me, please. What happened, baby? Share with me, please.]
Manik (in a choked voice)- Agar main kuch share karunga to tum mujhe chod ke chali jaogi. Sab chale jaate hain.
[Manik (in a choked voice)- If I share something, you will leave me and go away. Everyone does. They leave me.]
Riya- Nahi Manik. Aisa kuch nahi hoga. Aur main kyu jaungi tumhe chod ke?
[Riya- No, Manik. Nothing like that will happen. And why will I leave you?]
Manik (in a choked voice)- Kyunki sab chale jaate hain. Sab ko... sab ko lagta hai ki meri problems kabhi khatam hi nahi hoti. Unhe lagta tha ki ye sab drama hai.
[Manik (in a choked voice)- Because everyone does. They all... they all think that my problems never end. They think everything is a drama.]
Riya- Manik...
Manik (almost in tears)- But this is not a drama. I did not lie. It pains me a lot.
(She then, wasting no more moment, hugs him tightly.)
Riya (rubbing his back)- Shhhh. Calm down, Manik. I am here for you.
(As soon as she says those words, he hugs her back tightly and breaks down crying badly, hiding his face in her neck.)
Manik (cryingly)- Don't leave me. Riya, please. Don't ever leave me alone. If... if you went away, I won't be able to live. I... I will die... I...
Riya (stopping him instantly)- Never Manik. Main kahin nahi jaa rahi hoon aap ko chod ke. I promise you. Chahe kuch bhi ho jaye. I won't leave you. Never ever. I am not leaving you, Manik. Sun rahe ho aap Bacha? Main nahi jaa rahi hoon aap ko chod ke.
[Riya (stopping him instantly)- Never Manik. I am not going anywhere leaving you. I promise you. No matter what happens. I won't leave you. Never ever. I am not leaving you, Manik. Are you listening, baby? I am not going to leave you.]
(She rubs his back and caresses his hair, teary-eyed upon listening to his heartbreaking cries of pain.)
Riya (rubbing his back)- Manik, please calm down. You will fall ill like this.
(He then breaks the hug and holds her hands close to his heart while she looks on.)
Manik (in tears)- Mujhe nahi pata tumhe kaisa lagega but I want to tell you this.
[Manik (in tears)- I don't know how you feel, but I want to tell you this.]
(He finally looks up into her eyes, and she looks on sadly as his eyes are red because of crying.)
Manik- You are very important to me, Riya. In fact, the most important one. And I am scared to lose you now. I don't know what is happening with me, but I am telling you this. That I need you in my life. I need you to be my special person. To hold me up whenever I fall. But just be there for me, please. Always be with me, please.
(She, too, holds his hands back firmly and speaks up.)
Riya- I will, Manik. I will always be there for you. Whenever you will need me, I will always be there for you.
Manik- Thank you so much. And I promise you. I will always stay by your side.
(She smiles between the tears, wipes his tears first and cleans his eyes. He then gently cups her face and wipes her tears, on which they both chuckle, looking at each other.)
Manik (smiling)- We will stay together.
Riya (smiling)- Always.
(He again hugs her, and she smiles and hugs him back. They both let out a deep sigh of relief and close their eyes, feeling complete and content in each other's arms.)
