Shivaay squirm in his sleep and opened eyes to see the empty bed. He woke up, getting down from the bed with a confused frown.
"Where did this girl go?", he muttered checking the bathroom and balcony. Wearing his shirt, he went out to see it calm outside.
"Annika?", he called out to get no reply.
"Hey Shivaay", he turned to see Malika coming towards him with a smile having a cup of coffee in her hands.
"Thank god atleast someone is here. Where are others?", he asked.
"They're at backyard having breakfast. It was made at the garden kitchen today. You're late this morning", she said with a chuckle and showed up her wristwatch at his face.
"Yeah.. I don't know how, me and Annika were just talking after dinner laying on the bed and when I slept-", he shrugged being clueless.
"I get it, It's okay to sleep longer sometimes", she said taking a sip from her mug, "and I am in no mood to know my best friend's bedroom secrets", she winked.
"Speaking of, where's your bestie?", he asked air quoting the word.
"I have three besties Shivaay", she played along.
"Malika", he gave a look making her giggle.
"She's in the kitchen. Making new year special breakfast for you", Malika said with a teasing smile.
"New year special", he chuckled, "I'll go and see", he smiled going away towards the kitchen inside.
He walked inside the kitchen to see it messy with flour, eggs, spices scattered on the slab. He spotted his girlfriend who was working with her one hand making him sigh in disbelief.
"You're not suppose to strain yourself", he said making her look up from her preparation to see Shivaay standing in front of her. She smiled brightly.
"Good morning, happy new year", she wished smiling widely showing her teeth. He chuckled and kissed her forehead.
"Good morning pumpkin, happy new year, love. What are you doing?", he asked wrapping arm around her waist and picked up a strawberry from the bowl.
"I am preparing breakfast for you", she said smiling dropping the batter on pan.
"But baby, it must be straining your other arm. Breakfast was prepared right?", he asked pecking her temple.
"But I wanted to make something special for you", she pouted. He sighed seeing her face and nodded, rubbing her waist. She smile widely and continued.
"What's in my special breakfast?", he asked taking her petite figure in a back hug.
"Pancakes, avocado toasts, poached eggs, and your coffee", she said smiling, "I know it's not really a special breakfast but I wanted to prepare something for you first in new year", she shrugged smiling sheepishly.
"Anything from you is special for me", he said kissing her hair. She smiled leaning to him keeping the pancake on the plate which already had a pile of it.
"By the-", he stopped as his phone started to ping continuously. He sighed irritated.
"What happened?", she asked looking at him with corner of eyes, biting back her smile.
"Idk! It's buzzing a lot today, I didn't even uploaded any post on social media. I am keeping it silent", he said irritated.
"Ohh! I think you should check what it is. I mean your social media is buzzing so much so..", she shrugged keeping the breakfast on tray.
"Forget it. Give it to me, I am taking it to dining table", he said trying to take the tray but she pulled it away.
"Go freshen up. I am taking this out", she said taking the tray in her hands. She was leaving when she turns back at the door.
"I think you should check your social media once", she said with a hidden smile and went outside.
He looked at her confused but went outside go freshen up. Getting ready for the day, he went at the at the backyard to see everyone chit-chatting over the breakfast table.
"Good morning everyone", he wished taking the seat beside Annika. Everyone's smile widen more and wished him back.
"Umm.. Is there something which I don't know?", he asked looking at everyone who were passing knowing smiles to each other.
"No one is stopping you Shivaay, you can check your social media", Malika said shrugging making him frown.
"Again social media! What the hell is there?", he asked irritated and turned towards Annika who shrugged smiling.
"Have your breakfast first", she said shifting the tray towards him. He sighed and nodded giving attention to the breakfast made by his girlfriend, specially for him.
After the breakfast, pandit ji was called for the dates and decision over wedding. Others were preparing to shift back to Oberoi mansion till wedding.
"Rudy! Give me my phone back", Annika looked up to see Rudra coming running down the staircase with Shivaay behind him.
"Rudra! Stop it, give it to me!!", he said again coming down making Rudra hide behind Annika and held her shoulders.
"Hey! Come here!!", he said moving towards him making Rudra turn Annika and the started rushing in a circle making her a human shield.
"Guys!!", Annika shouted making both of them stop at their places, "stop this, my head is spinning", she held her head. Shivaay immediately came ahead and made her sit down.
"Sorry baby, you're okay?", he asked caressing her hair, she nodded.
"Didi! Sorry but see your boyfriend, snatching phone from me", Rudra said pouting.
"That's my phone, FYI!", Shivaay said passing a look.
"Which I am not giving", he grinned making Shivaay look at Annika. She chuckled.
"I need to see my social media Rudy, everyone is talking about it since morning. Give it to me", he said sternly but didn't affected Rudy, who shook his head.
"When we're asking you to check it since morning, you didn't but stayed involved in other things.. Thoda pareshaan karna banta hai bhaiya!", Rudy said giggling.
"It has a point", Annika nodded.
"Pumpkin!?", Shivaay said in disbelief making her chuckle.
"Give it Rudy, he is already very irritated", she said looping arm around his arm.
"Okay! here bhaiya, just because didi is saying", he said forwarding the phone which Shivaay snatched glaring.
"Yeah yeah", Shivaay said rolling eyes. Rudra pouted to whom Annika blew a kiss making him smile.
"Jhanvi aunty was searching for you", she said making him nod and go from there. She was also getting up when he held her hand.
"Where?", he asked looking towards her.
"To see if anyone needs any help. Pandit ji is coming", she smiled.
"Go later, sit with me. I am not getting my girlfriend even a bit these days", he said hitting his forehead with hers making her close eyes giggling and nod.
"Check your social media now", she said smiling.
"What have you done?", he asked narrowing eyes.
"Find yourself", she shrugged. He shook his head opening his social media to see it filled with DMs and mentions.
"Okay...that's something huge I guess", he said and looked towards her. He scrolled down when an article at first. He saw an article and clicked on the link, reading it.

It's new year and everyone were celebrating it last night welcoming the year with happiness and enthusiasm. Celebs were seen sharing pictures from their celebration with friends and family. Similarly, Annika D'souza posted a picture on social media yesterday wishing everyone the new year where she official her relationship with the ace celebrity fashion designer Shivaay Singh Oberoi.
She captioned the picture saying- "here's to my rainbow to gloomy days, embrace to tough days. Happy New year from mine to you and yours🥂 @shivaaysinghoberoi❤️"
Annika was also seen posting pictures with her friends and we didn't missed the group picture where Shivaay's family was along with the couple having smiling face. We're really happy for the couple and wish them our love!
Shivaay looked towards Annika with open mouth and shocked face. She smiled softly biting her lower lip with a shrug.
"What..happen?", she asked seeing him unusually silent. She frown confused not getting any reply and was going to ask again when her words stopped in the throat as Shivaay slammed his lips against her lips making her quiet.
He kissed her deeply cupping her name making her moan closing her eyes. She clutched his coat lapel and started kissing him back making him deepen the kiss.
As they parted from the kiss, he joined his head against hers, both panting still living in the moment. She looked at him confused.
"What was that?", she asked blinking with gaping mouth.
"You really official our relationship?", he asked shocked. She chuckled and nodded.
"Yeah, I mean it's been 3 months since we've met, almost 2 months since we're dating so I thought it's okay if we make it official", she smiled, "you didn't wanted?", she added.
"Are you crazy? Since the day we're dating, I am waiting to tell everyone, scream it that you're mine and you're asking I didn't wanted? I am freaking happy baby", he said happily and hugged her tightly.
"Oww.. My arm" she chuckled making him loosen the hug and kiss her cheek deeply muttering a sorry. She giggled nodding and hug him back.
"I love you", he said loudly making her giggle and hug him more, "I love you too", she said as he sway them lightly.
"But baby", he parted, "you didn't wanted media to know it. Now they'll always behind us, specially you. You wanted it private right?", he asked worry lacing on his face as he cupped her cheeks.
"I think it's fine Shivaay. I mean today or tomorrow they would have known it and they already had an idea. Now just because of the fear of paparazzi I can't keep doing the thing I don't like, right? Even I want to tell everyone that you're mine, post pictures with you. I will handle them and once they know we're, they won't trouble me for long", she said making him hum and nod.
"I am with you in everything okay?", he said making her nod and kiss his cheek.
"That's also a reason why I am not worried. I know you'll handle me", she smiled looking in his eyes, "aur cause bhi, I have many beautiful pictures of ours which I wasn't able to upload, now I will upload them happily", she said with a wide smile making him giggle and nuzzle their nose.
"I am so happy", he muttered pecking her cheek.
"I am happy too", she said back pecking his palm on her face.
They're lost in each other's eyes when they heard voice from hall understanding that Pandit ji has come.
"Let's go", she said moving making him pull her back.
"I don't want to", he pouted lightly making her giggle.
"But we need to go", she said giggling pecking his cheek. He sighed and nodded taking her hand in his hand.
She nodded and went with him both forgetting their phone on the couch. After a while, her phone started ringing unknown to anyone. The ID was flashing- " dad"
