chapter forty five;
the day before
ONE DAY BEFORE the third task. Aven felt something coming but she doesn't know what it is. Her curiosity took over her mind. Knowing that this is the last task, she knew that it's going to be more difficult than the last two tasks. That's why she's determined to spend time with all of her friends today, just in case something bad happens.
Her and Sirius have been sleeping in this one room in the Gryffindor tower that no one knew about. They spend every minute of every hour, just talking to each other, giving affection, giving love.
Scared would be the word to explain what Sirius is feeling right now. He's scared that he will lose Aven, because as cliché as it sounds, he can't live without her.
"Love wake up" Aven stares at the sleeping boy beside her
"Hmm" Sirius mumbled
"Come on we're gonna be late for breakfast" Aven brushed Sirius' hair out of his face
"10 more minutes" Sirius groaned, cuddling Aven closer
"Padfoot you said that 15 minutes ago" Aven laughed
"Let's just sleep, we don't have any class today. And we can always go to the kitchen" Sirius pouted, still not opening his eyes
"Please" Sirius pleaded
"Fine you big baby"
"Now cuddle with me, i'm cold" Sirius stretched out his arms as Aven cuddled with him
"I love you" Aven told Sirius making him smile
"I love you more darling" Sirius kissed Aven's head
Sirius fell asleep again, but Aven on the other hand, couldn't sleep. It wasn't because she's not tired or anything, but she's just worried. She knew that as soon a she entered the tournament she's up for a huge deal. All she could think about was about the fact that, none of her family knew that she's in the tournament because none of them read the daily prophet and they don't read any of her letters. So just imagine if she dies, Emillio would have to tell her family what happened. She doesn't want that.
Sure she doesn't really care about her life or whatever but she's still scared. Aven shook her thoughts away and she cuddled closer to Sirius, closing her eyes as darkness took over her.

"Look who it is" Marlene smirked
"The couple of the year" James added as the group watched the couple walking down
"Did you two have fun?" Sofia asked with a smirk on her face
"Oh yeah we definitely did, isn't that right sweetheart?" Sirius asked Aven
"Fuck off" Aven laughed, pushing his face away
The two sat down on the sofa, still hand in hand.
"So the third task is tomorrow" Remus started
"Don't even remind me" Sirius whined as he laid his head on Aven's shoulder
"I'll be okay bitches" Aven smiled
"Are you prepared?" Peter asked worriedly
"Yeah i think so" Aven replied with a nod
"You won't die, right?" Lily asked
"i won't Lils" Aven gave the girl a smile
"Yo sister, if you die all of your money will go to me right?" Emillio walked in with Regulus
"I don't get why i'm friends with you" Regulus sat down next to Alice and Frank
"Bitch are you hoping that i'll die" Aven gasped
"Bitch i'm not, but if you do your money will come to me right?" Emillio asked again
"Bitch i'm broke"
"Bitch you're not"
The two of them kept bickering, which caused their friends to laugh. Dorcas even summoned a popcorn as they watched the siblings with amusement.
"Bitch fine, my money's yours if i'm dead" Aven gave up
"Bitch thankyou" Emillio smiled innocently
"Piss off" Aven flipped him off
"Love you too" Emillio blew a kiss towards her
The group sat down in silence, enjoying each other's company. It's time like this that makes Aven happy. It's time like this that makes Aven wished she could stop the time.
"Hey guys?" Aven broke the silence
"Yeah?"
"This is probably dramatic and all but uh if something happens to me, promise me that you won't do anything stupid that will you know, cost your life"
"You're not going to die, right?" Alice asked shakily
"No, i'm not planning to die. But if something happens to me just promise me that you'll be okay. I know this feels like a selfish thing, but promise me please"
"Stop, you're not going to die" Frank told her
"Please stop, i'm not letting you die. I won't, i won't" Sirius said, his voice trembling as tears fell down his eyes
"Padfoot i know you won't" Aven rubbed his back as Sirius laid his head on Aven's lap
"Bitch you're not going to die" Emillio said with tears in his eyes
"Ave you're not going to die okay? We'll make sure of it" James frowned trying to hide his tears
"Okay" Aven replied as she kissed the crying Sirius in the head

"Hey Milo, look here" Aven told him holding her camera
"Bitch do i look good?" Emillio ran to her sister
"Eh you look like you have some type of elevator music playing in your head like always" Aven shrugged
"Ha ha you are such a lovely sister, i am so blessed" Emillio rolled his eyes playfully
"You are blessed" Aven smirked but stopped when Emillio hit the back of her head
"Son of a bitch" Aven groaned as Emillio ran away from her
"HEY AVE, COME SING WITH US!" James yelled.
The Gryffindor were hosting another party in their common room for some reason. Almost everyone were there, so it was pretty crowded.
Aven walked to the four boys that were standing in a what seemed like a small stage.
"We are the champions, my friends"
"And we'll keep on fighting till the end"
"We are the champions"
"We are the champions"
"No time for losers"
"Cause we are the champions of the World" The group sang together as the crowd cheered
If Aven could stop the time, she would.
