chapter twenty seven;
the one with the champions
AVEN NEEDED to tell Emillio and also Regulus about her Attending the Triwizard Tournament. So now there they are walking around the black lake.
"So wait you're telling me you're attending the Triwizard Tournament?" Emillio asked
"Yes" Aven replied knowing where this is going
"The deadly tournament" Regulus pointed
"Yes"
"Holy shit that's amazing" The two of them yelled
Aven look at them with a shocked face thinking that they would tell her to not attend the tournament.
"Yeah it is" Aven said confusingly
"But be careful though"
"Since it is a deadly tournament after all"
"I will" Aven laughed
"AVE!" Sirius ran to her
"Hey Pads"
"It's time for you to put your name in the goblet" Sirius smiled
"Oh yeah right" Aven inhaled nervously
"Come on everyone's waiting" Sirius ran
intertwining his fingers with Aven's, making Regulus and Emillio smirked at each other before following their siblings

Everyone clapped when they saw Aven walking in the great hall. Aven laughed and let go of Sirius' hand. She stood there looking at her friends.
"Go for it" James pat her in the back with a huge smile
"YEAH AVEN" Sirius yelled making everyone laughed
Aven walked closer to the goblet. She stares at the goblet before putting the piece of parchment.
"EVERYONE SAY YEAH AVEN" Fabian and Gideon instructed
"YEAH AVEN" They all yelled
Aven just shook her head and laughed at them before thanking them.
The room got quiet when someone from Durmstrang walked in. It was the guy who winked at Aven.
"Come on Oscar" His friend said
'I guess his name's Oscar' Aven thought
Oscar smiled at Aven who's sitting next to Sirius. Aven smiled back which caused Sirius to look down.
"Oi you know she doesn't like him" Emillio whispered to Sirius noticing the look on his face
"I don't care" Sirius shrugged
"Please, i know you like her" Emillio whined
"No i don't"
"Yes you do"
"No i don't"
"Yes you do"
"No i don't"
"No you don't" Emillio smirked
"Yes i do" Sirius widened his eyes knowing what he just said
"Ha Ha you like Aven" Emillio stuck his tongue out
"Shove off" Sirius blushed
The great hall went silent again when the Beauxbatons girls walked in.
"Hey Sirius" One of the girl smiled with a smirk at Sirius. Aven cleared her throat and looked down
"Melanie" Sirius nodded with a smile
"He doesn't like her" Regulus whispered making Aven slightly jumped from her seat
"Jeez Reggie"
"Sorry but you look like you just lost him" Regulus laughed
"No i do not, besides i don't care if he likes her" Aven lied bluntly
"Sure you don't" Regulus smirked
"Yeah i don't" Aven whispered

The great hall were filled with students. The Goblet of Fire still placed im the middle. The group sat down watching Aven who kept bouncing her leg.
Obviously she's nervous. Who wouldn't be nervous?
"Sit down please" Dumbledore spoke up and everyone sat down
"Now the moment you've all been waiting for"
"The champion selection" Dumbledore exclaimed as he made the fires around the hall to be more dim
He then put his hand on the goblet and the blue fire turned red. A piece of paper flew and Dumbledore catched it.
"The Durmstrang champion is Oscar Müller" Dumbledore exclaimed
Oscar's friend cheered for him and Oscar stood up before walking away.
The fire turned red once again and the paper flew.
"The champion of Beauxbatons is Esmée Blanchet"
Esmée stood up and everyone cheered as she walked away.
Everyone went quiet again when the fire turned red again.
"The Hogwarts champion is" Dumbledore opened the parchment
"AVEN CROSS" Dumbledore yelled
Everyone cheered for her while Aven just smiled at them. Sirius was the first to hug her.
"I KNEW IT" Sirius yelled kissing Avev's cheek making her laugh
She hugged all of her friends and quickly stood up and walked to Dumbledore.
"I know you will do well Miss Cross" Dumbledore said shaking her hand
"Thankyou Professor" Aven smiled before walking away but she was stopped by McGonagall who hugged her
"You'll do great" McGonagall hugged her
"Thankyou Minnie" Aven laughed softly
Aven walked to the door to see the other champions.
"Hi, you must be Aven" Esmée smiled at her offering her hand
"Yes, and you're Esmée right" Aven asked shaking her hand
"Yes, that's me" Esmée replied her thick french accent covering her voice
"You're Oscar am i right?" Aven looked at Oscar
"That is me" Oscar replied with his Bulgarian accent
"You're quite the legend" Oscar smiled
"Pardon?" Aven asked
"Everyone here knows you and loves you" Oscar replied
"They really do adore you" Esmée agreed
"Yesterday a few people told me all about you, about how you can do magic non-verbally and without a wand"
"That's amazing!" Esmée exclaimed
"Thankyou" Aven smiled
