"You were with her, weren't you?"
Chifuyu asked with his cold-looking eyes still on his girlfriend standing before him. [first name] stood frozen, her eyes not leaving her boyfriend's.
[first name] closed her eyes, letting out a sigh. "Yes."
Chifuyu began walking his way to her, still looking coldly at her—not saying a single word.[first name] mentally gulped—as she stared back at her pissed-looking boyfriend.
Chifuyu stood in front of her, looking down at her because of their height difference while [first name] was looking up at him, waiting for him to react—waiting for him to say something. Chifuyu knows who she was with—he knows how and when they met, and he knows they're friends, but what he doesn't know is—
"Geez, you could've just told me that you and that Akashi girl are gonna hang out.." he said boringly, looking up at the sky.
[first name] rolled her eyes at him and said, "If I did, you'll end up coming with me."
Chifuyu has no idea that [first name],
his precious girlfriend...
has 'connections' with Brahman.
Chifuyu sulked as his attention went back to her, "Of course, that will happen..I am your boyfriend after all." he said, blushing a little. "And I don't get why you don't want me to meet this friend of yours.." he added, looking away from her. Chifuyu hasn't really met Senju before, but [first name] talks about her a lot---but Chifuyu has no idea about her and anything with Brahman..
and [first name] wants to keep it that way.
[first name] couldn't help but chuckle softly at her boyfriend, acting all cute and pouty. "I don't want you two to meet because Akashi is a very pretty girl, she might steal you from me." said [first name] in a joking kind of way. She knows Chifuyu isn't the type of guy that would just leave someone because he found someone better, no. She just wants to tease him a little, to test him—and not let him know about her and Brahman.
Chifuyu flinched, "W-Why would you say something like that?" he said, looking at her weirdly. [first name] laughed at his reaction, "I was just kidding, I know you wouldn't d—"
She stopped when Chifuyu grabbed both of her wrists all of the sudden and pulled her close to him, roughly, making [first name] bewildered with Chifuyu's sudden action. Then Chifuyu spoke,
"You're the only beautiful girl I know!"
[first name] stared at him, blinking—she didn't expect him to say something like that all of the sudden. She blushed when she realized that----his face was so close to hers.
"If someone's planning to steal me from you, well they're just gonna waste their time and energy! Because I would never leave such a beautiful—amazing human being!" he said, gripping her wrist tight. [first name] flinched, "Chifuyu.."
"And if someone's planning to steal you from me well—they'll be dead right before they could even make a move on you.." he said darkly, making [first name]'s skin crawl. Chifuyu stared deeply into her eyes, then his eyes went to her slightly parted lips---he can feel his heart beating rapidly. "Don't say crap like that ever again! No one's gonna steal me from you! And there's no way in hell that I'll let some asshole steal you from me!"
[first name] gulped, "A-Alright, I get it, geez..I was only kidding." she said, looking away from him to hide her blushing face. Chifuyu flinched when he realized everything that he just said and when he saw that her face was only an inch away from his—he blushed and slowly let go of her.
The two stared at each other for a moment--in silence. Then a small breeze came out of nowhere, that's when Chifuyu broke the silence, "S-Sorry about that." he said, blushing in embarrassment. [first name] let out a soft laugh, "What are you apologizing for?" she said, walking her way to the entrance of the building. Chifuyu became confused.
Then [first name] stopped and looked over her shoulder with a soft smile on her face, "For being adorable?" Chifuyu flinched at her words, his cheeks began to heat up again. Then he began stammering--and sweating.
[first name] laughed at his reaction and said, "Why are you still standing there? Let's go. We're still gonna study. Tomorrow's the last day of exams.."
That's when Chifuyu went back to his senses, "Right!" he said as he hurriedly went to where she is. [first name] grinned at him and said, "You're so cute when you say weird things.." Chifuyu blushed and shot her a glare, "Quit it.." he mumbled. [first name] laughed as she clung to his arm, "I was just kidding, you're always cute!"
Chifuyu sighed in defeat—there's no stopping her from teasing him. He can find it quite annoying sometimes, but at the same time—he loves it.
flashback(a month ago)
Chifuyu and [first name] are having a walk in the park---the park was just near their school.
They just got out of school, Chifuyu wanted to spend time with her while they're still out, so he decided to take her to the park.
"I was thinking about visiting Kazutora tomorrow." said [first name], with her hands behind her as she walks. Chifuyu was walking beside her, carrying her schoolbag for her. "Since tomorrow's Saturday." she added, glancing at him.
Chifuyu hummed in response, "He still has 8 years left..right?" he said. "Yup." said [first name], giving him a warm smile.
Chifuyu smiled back at her, then he looked up at the sky, admiring it. Then something came into his mind, he grinned at the thought, thinking how [first name] will react..
"Say, when was our first kiss?" he asked all of the sudden.
[first name] shot him a weird look, "Why are you asking that all of the sudden?" she asked, crossing her arms at him. Chifuyu shrugged, "I don't know, I was just wondering.." he said, turning his attention back to her. "or maybe we haven't kissed yet.." he said.
[first name] froze, "H-Hold on a sec--you don't remember?" she asked, getting a little angry.
He stopped walking and stared at her, "Huh? Remember what?" [first name] put a hand on her waist, "Our first kiss, dummy.."
"Huh? We've kissed before?" he asked, looking at her in confusion. [first name] felt hurt---she couldn't believe Chifuyu forgot that she was the one who kissed him first. 2 years ago, back when they were still in middle school..on Christmas—she kissed him on the cheek.
[first name] slouched and began pouting like a 5-year-old who badly wants to eat some candy. Chifuyu was taken aback by her reaction and asked, "What's with the look??"
"You don't remember our first kiss?" she asked, tilting her head at him—giving him a cold stare. Chifuyu gulped and shivered when she looked at him like that. "I..uh..who kissed who first?" he asked, giving her a nervous smile. [first name] growled, "I did, dummy. I kissed you first!"
"Really? When..?" he asked innocently, scratching the back of his head. [first name] felt a vein just bulged on her forehead, "Two years ago..on Christmas day.." she said as her face softened, Chifuyu flinched——then his mind began recalling what happened that very day.
[first name] sighed, "You gave me a gift back then..and I felt bad for not giving you one in return." she said, then a small smile formed on her lips. "I was so happy about the gift back then, but I was more happy about.." she paused, then looked up at him to meet his eyes. "..the person who gave me the gift."
Chifuyu gasped—as he stared at her with eyes wider than his normal ones. He can feel his heart beating rapidly after she said that.
[first name] looked down with a small smile still plastered on her face as she recalls what happened that day, "I'll never forget that day.."
Chifuyu was still staring at her--completely astonished. He remembered that day..he even remembered how giddy he was back then and he also remembered the number of times that his mom caught him smiling like a complete idiot as he stares at nothing. He immediately shook the embarrassing memory off and gave [first name] a serious look, "I hate to break it to you, [first name] but—that wasn't our first kiss." he said in a bored tone. [first name] flinched, she quickly shot him a glare, "Huh?! Yeah it was! I was the one who kissed you first!" she yelled—she's lucky that there aren't many people in the park with them today, she'll die in embarrassment if someone heard her say that out loud.
Chifuyu closed his eyes and shrugged, "It wasn't a real kiss..so why consider it our first.." he said monotonously. [first name] narrowed her eyes at him, "It was too! You have no idea how much I—"
She stopped when she felt a hand under her chin, she gasped when she felt like she was being pulled. Before she knew it—
she felt something soft touch her lips..
Her eyes widened in realization. He was kissing her—Chifuyu was kissing her. It took her a while to confirm that this wasn't a dream—she can feel her eyes fluttering close as she put a hand on his cheek—now kissing him back.
The kiss was soft, sweet and slow. Chifuyu can taste the lip balm that she always use—it tasted like cherries, and he loved it.
Moments later, he pulled away as he slightly opened his eyes to see her angelic face. They were both a blushing mess.
Chifuyu gave her a warm smile and gave her one last peck on the lips. "Now that, that was our first kiss." he said, gently rubbing her chin with his thumb. [first name] turned redder, "H-Huh?"
Chifuyu let out a soft chuckle as he took her hand and began walking, "Let's go home." he said—with a dumbfounded [first name] beside him.
[first name] was speechles—completely speechless. He just kissed her on the lips for the very first time—and that's all what he can say to her?? after all of that??
"What the—? You just kissed me for the first time and that's all you can say to me?" she asked, with Chifuyu still holding her hand as they walk.
Chifuyu hummed as he took a glance at her, "You want another one?" he simply asked, shrugging a little.
[first name] flinched and her cheeks immediately turned red again, "B-Baka.."

the next day..
[first name] hummed a song as she went down the stairs with Chifuyu on her right side and Takemichi on her left. She was about to open up a conversation but Takemichi beat her right to it..
"So..how am I going to bring down, Mikey-kun?" he asked, looking a little serious.
Chifuyu looked at him and said, "Huh?" then he turned his attention back to his steps, "Don't just blurt out random things all of the sudden, Takemitchy.." he said.
"But I'm being serious here!" said Takemichi. [first name] laughed at his response, then she looked at Chifuyu and said, "I guess this the best time to see them.."
Chifuyu gave her a smile and said, "Well then..let's have a reunion with the boys!"
Takemichi looked at the couple in confusion, "Reunion..with the boys?"
They began walking their way out of the school as Chifuyu spoke, "Obviously, since the Tokyo Manji gang is no more..we need some strength to go against Mikey's Kantou Manji Gang."
"I see.." Takemichi replied, while [first name] remained quiet, as she listens to their plan. She now knows what Takemitchy's main goal is..and that is to defeat Mikey. She was a little against it and worried for Takemitchy, but she chose not to say anything instead.
Then her thoughts were interrupted by someone coming from behind, "What's up?!"
Takemitchy, Chifuyu and [first name] and Chifuyu turned they heads to see who it was and it was only their friend, "Hey, Hakkai." [first name] gave him a warm smile.
Hakkai blushed and tried his best to not get shy around her, "[first name]-chan." he smiled back at her. Then he looked at Takemichi and Chifuyu, "What are you guys talking about? It seems interesting..and who's the boys?"
[first name] gave Takemitchy a soft nudge, making Takemitchy flinch. "I..uh..It's nothing, Hakkai.." he said.
Hakkai grinned at him and said, "Also, you guys look extremely free right now?"
The trio just stared at the tall guy behind them.
"Follow me! There's a place I wanted to show you guys!" said Hakkai as he began walking away, waving his hand at them—signaling them to follow him.
[first name] let out an awkward smile and said, "He just popped out of nowhere huh.."
"Like a pimple.." said Chifuyu.
"W-We're not that free though.." said Takemichi, dropping a sweat.
Takemichi
"Long time no see, Takemitchy!"
I flinched when a rich-looking guy with sunglasses greeted me, I can feel myself sweating due to nervousness. "I'm sorry but..who are you?" I asked.
Hakkai brought us to this—expensive looking office. I have no idea where I am.
"C'mon man," said the guy as he took his shades off, I flinched when I saw his face. "It's me, Haruki Hayashida!" he said.
It's Pah-chin-kun?!
I smiled brightly at him, "Pah-chin-kun! Hold on now! Did you get released from Juvie?!" I asked, I can hear myself acting all excited. I can feel Chifuyu and [first name]-chan smiling at me.
Then I heard another voice, "Huh?" I looked at the direction where I heard it from and saw a long haired gu—wait a sec, MITSUYA-KUN?!!
Mitsuya turned his head to look at me, "What kind of joke are you making? That's old news!" he said, grinning at me.
"Mitsuya-kun!" I smiled back at him. "Woah, Taka-chan is here too! What a coincidence!" said Hakkai.
Then I heard another familiar voice, "What's up, Takemitchy? Ya looking for a room too?"
"Peh-yan-kun!"
Then Pah-chin's eyes landed on Chifuyu and [first name], "Hey! I didn't notice my little sister is here too!" he said as he stood up.
[first name] laughed as she walked her way to them. "Please don't call me that.." she said.
Mitsuya grinned playfully at her, "Aww, why not?"
Then Hakkai went to where they are, "Are you looking for a room to rent, Taka-chan?" he asked. "Yeah, I was thinking about renting a small room.." said Mitsuya.
"Can you believe it, Hakkai? Mitsuya's annoyingly picky about his rooms!" said Peh-yan eyeing Mitsuya.
Mitsuya glared at him and said, "You can't give me a decent room that's why!"
I can feel myself smiling as I watch them talking to each other.
Of course..
that's why Pah-chin and Peh-yan run a real estate company in the future.
"Peh-yan, can you search a room for me too?" Hakkai asked, "Living with Yuzuha is tiring, she keeps on nagging." he added. "Not a problem! I've got a list right here!"
I saw Chifuyu's face brightened, "Oooh—Lemme see it too!" he said as he went beside Peh.
They're searching for a room to rent..everyone's growing up well..
Then I heard Mitsuya and [first name]-chan talking, "Takashi that room looks good!" said [first name], smiling at the papers that Mitsuya was holding. "I know. The listing is good but it says here that it's not suitable to be made as a workplace.." Mitsuya explained. Pah flinched when Mistuya said that, "Huh? But why?" then he turned to where Peh is and yelled, "Peh-yan! Tell me why the hell is that place not suitable!"
The two began yelling at each other
"It's because I went and negotiated with the owner and that's what he said! Is your brain vacuum-packed Pah-chin!" said Peh. Pah blushed in embarrassment and crossed his arms, "That's not a damn compliment!" he said.
[first name] and Mitsuya just stared at the two weirdly. Then I heard Chifuyu calling, "Ah! That's right, Takemitchy!" I quickly turned to face him, "Why not invite them with your plan now?" he said. I flinched—oh yeah..
Then Chifuyu went beside me, putting an arm around my neck, "If these guys are in, we're gonna have some incredible strength on our side, that's for sure!" he said.
He's right, having them will definitely help but—"Hmm..you're not wrong Chifuyu but—"
I watched Pah-chin and Peh-yan laughing at Hakkai, and I can see Mitsuya and [first name]-chan smiling at them.
I turned my attention back to Chifuyu, and said, "But let's not do that."
third person
"Why didn't you tell them about your plan??"
Chifuyu asked, looking at Takemitchy in confusion. [first name] was in the middle of the two, yawning. "It was such a good chance since they were all there." Chifuyu added.
Takemitchy grinned as he thought about earlier, "Well, I can't help it! They are really a bunch of hardworking people, they got plans ahead, there's no way I can invite them." he said, still smiling brightly at the thought. [first name] and Chifuyu stared at him.
"I see.." Chifuyu mumbled, then he looked down his phone and flipped it open, "I wonder if there's someone else—" he paused when he saw the time, "Shit!" he cursed, causing [first name] and Takemitchy to jump.
"What's up?" [first name] asked. Chifuyu turned to her and said, "I need to go to my part-time job now."
"Oh yeah..you're kinda late." said [first name] looking at the time on her phone. "I know. See ya later!" he said as he gave her a gentle kiss on the forehead, then he turned to Takemitchy, "Sorry Takemitchy! I gotta go!" he said, giving him a warm smile. "By the way, can you take [first name] home for me? Thanks a bunch! bye bye!" and with that Chifuyu ran, waving his hand at the two.
[first name] was waving back to her adorable boyfriend with a small smile on her face..while Takemitchy was left confused. "P-Part-time job?"
[first name] heard, causing her to look at him. "Oh, you don't know yet?" she asked. Takemtchy shook his head at her. [first name] gave him a smile and pointed at something. Takemitchy looked at where her finger is pointing at, and his eyes widened in shock, "A pet shop?" he said, looking at the pet shop that Chifuyu just entered—that isn't too far from them.
"Mhm. He's been working there for months now." said [first name].
Now that Takemichi thought about it..
Chifuyu is a pet shop owner in 10 years time..
with [first name] by his side..
Then he turned his attention back to [first name] beside him, "Oh right! Let's go, [first name]! I'm gonna walk you home just like Chifuyu asked me t—"
She didn't let him finish, "It's alright, Takemichi. I can walk myself home." she said, giving him her usual smile. "But..Chifuyu—"
She laughed, "Don't worry about it. I'm old enough to handle myself you know.." she said, giving him a gentle pat on the shoulders, "See you tomorrow at school, Takemitchy." and with that she began walking away, waving at him. "Oh, and don't think about it too much..remember that you're not doing all of this on your own," she said, raising her voice a little so he can hear.
Takemitchy was taken aback—how in the world did she know that he was thinking about his plan.
She put her hand down and said, "If you need help with anything, just let me know."
Takemichi let out a soft gasp, "[first name]-chan.." he couldn't help but to feel a little teary, aside from having Chifuyu—he has [first name]. And he's so glad that he has a friend like her. He shook the feeling off because he doesn't want to cry on a public place, then he gave her a determined smile, "Okay!"
[first name] noticed his eyes getting glossy, she let out a weak laugh and said, "You're not doing this alone, you got that?"
Takemichi gave her a small nod, still giving her a determined smile. [first name] smiled back at him and said,
"I got your back, our crybaby hero."
