"W-What have you done?" Horikita asked with a lot of fear inside her voice
"Nothing yet. You will figure everything out, if you follow our favorite teachers. I'm out" I said uninterested while increasing our distance
"No, you are not!!! We will follow them together!!! " She said angrily while grabbing the back of my neck
She's a pain in the ass
Whatever...
We joined again our classmates and followed the other teachers
"What's going on?" Mashima-sensei asked worried
"They suddenly disappeared... We turned back and we realized that they fell inside an old designed trap" Ichinose analyzed the situation shocked
It's a trapping pit
Chihiro with another random girl were the unlucky ones
"I spoke too soon, Mashima-sensei. It looks like the school wants to test our survival skills in hardcore mode" I said excited
"Rei-chan, this whole incident was not part of the special test. It's not the correct time for your jokes" Chie-chan scolded me

"I'm not joking. On an unrelated note, is that snake over there part of the examination then?" I pointed with my finger on a real snake

After they noticed the snake, a large number of students from both our classes started to run towards the beach in fear
"How?" The teachers asked in unison with bewilderment
They are shocked
"That's weird. We had a similar test last year in this very island and those dangerous situations were not there" Kiryūin expressed her surprise
"fufufu I've changed my mind. This is getting interesting" Kōenji said with a smirk
"This interference was extreme. You will explain everything immediately afterwards" Kiyotaka whispered to me
I nodded
"You can continue your meaningful comments later. We need to save them immediately" Anya acted as a reminder
Kazuki without wasting any time attacked the snake with a knife from a distance. She used the knife as a projectile and killed the snake almost instantly
The teachers widened their eyes
"Headshot!!!" I said childishly
"That's not normal... This precise level of accuracy is difficult even for professionals, especially with a knife of all things" Mashima-sensei commented after Kazuki's showcase
"fufufufufufufu I was right. The Dangerous-girl is dangerous" Kōenji gave her a complement
"My accuracy decreased dramatically after my isolation from physical activities" She said with visible disappointment in her voice
"I noticed another interesting thing. The boy over there had no reaction" Kiryūin said with a smirk
Poor Kiyotaka
"I was just born this way" Kiyotaka said with his monotone voice
She laughed after she heard Kiyotaka's lie
"I'll have my eyes on you from now on"
Rip Kiyotaka
"Without any ropes, I recommend the formation of a human ladder" Kiyotaka gave an interesting idea
He is taking an active role
"It will be a complete disaster, if you're going to injure yourselves too. The best solution right now is to call the rescuers" Chabashira spoke for the first time
She tried but no one answered
"We will go with Ayanokōji-boy's proposal. The other solutions are either too slow or not reliable" Kōenji joined our operation
"The height is about 3.3 meters difference between us. Kōenji-kun, Kiryun-san and Rei-chan are the best choices for Kiyotaka's idea" Kazuki gave a complete analysis
"Are you okay?" I called out the girls
"I-I'm scared a-and I-I can't stand up!!!" The random girl shouted in despair
I see, a leg injury
"Shiranami-san, can you hear me?" Kazuki asked
"I-I'm scared... I can't... I can't..."
Chihiro is too scared and all those negative emotions made her mentally unstable temporarily
After an intense operation, we saved them. The girl with the injured leg was cooperative and we had no problems
Chihiro on the other hand wasted almost one hour from our time because of her mental state
"T-Thank you..." They both thanked us together with a lot of tears
"No problem" Kazuki answered with a smile
Ichika returned
We are almost at the start, it was not so difficult for her to find us
"That was almost a killing joke. This island has a lot of unusual wild animals and different traps" Ichika shared her observations
The teachers were speechless
"Class B and Class D are missing. Hmm... I can offer my experience in exchange of some points" I took advantage of this whole situation
"That's..." Mashima-sensei tried to speak
"The rescuers ignored our existence. I'm not going to risk my life without a fair exchange. We can form teams of two and explore the island" I shared my thoughts
"That's a good idea. Raise your hand, if you're ready for this" Kazuki took an active role
Every student raised their hand
"We can't let you risk your lives" Mashima-sensei objected
"Don't worry, Sensei. We are well trained for this" Kazuki spoke for everyone
"Let's see, 7 students * 6 million points. That's quite pricy for this school hehehe" I made an idiotic calculation in front of them
"Rei-chan, we need to communicate with the school's authorities for this insane proposal" Chie-chan informed me
"I'll make a phone call again" Chabashira took action
She went some meters away and spoke with the school
She returned after 20 minutes
"They refused your proposal, but as a compensation, every class will get 300 class points from this special exam" Chabashira shared with us their decision
"This move creates a better economy for our year. Fine! We accept" Kazuki answered for all of us
The 6 million point move was a bluff. It's quite expensive for this school to agree
On the other hand, their decision to increase our year's economy is expensive too
"Now for the groupings~ I'll go with Kazuki" I said excitedly
"Kiyotaka will join me on a date~" Ichika said with a similar expression
"I'm against this" Kiyotaka objected
"Kiyotaka is a loyal shy boy~" We teased him together
"That's not even close. The reason I'm against this, it's you" He said with his eyes narrowed on me
"Pervert~! You're just after my body, aren't you?" I teased him more
He slapped my forehead
"Ouch! You are not fun... The answer I was looking for was something like this 'Your body, huh? You know, that doesn't sound too bad'" I quoted his words before his legendary line
The other's chuckled after our little interaction. The teachers were speechless except Chie-chan
He sighed
"You wanted to sneak back to the ship with Kazuki to play video games" Kiyotaka unmasked me like a Scooby-Doo villain
I pouted
"That was a dirty move, Kiyotaka. How did you know?" I asked out of curiosity
"Figure it out yourself" He answered coldly
It's not even my fault!!! I asked for her to increase the difficulty not turn this entire thing into a dangerous shit show
"Fine... We will move together as a group" I said defeated
"Senseis... It's a good idea to join the other students while carrying the two injured ones from Chabashira-sensei's class. The fact that you are older than us means very little in this crucial moment" Kazuki gave them her opinion
"I'm still against this" Mashima-sensei spoke for all the teachers
I realized something else, the sensei from D is missing. I don't even remember his name at this point
"Mashima-sensei is right. I'm against this too, even if it means protecting a student which I hate with a passion" Chabashira supported Mashima-sensei

My eyes met Kazuki's and she nodded. It will be really troublesome with Chihiro here, but the situation is dire
"It's a stalemate ha? I have no other choice. It's time for me to reveal my background"
Kiyotaka gave me a mini glare
"Your background?" Kiryūin, the injured girls and the teachers asked in unison
I took a breath
Here we go...
"We are part of an advanced human experimentation program. The true purpose of this brutal experiment was to create artificial geniuses using any unethical methods possible outside of the government's supervision. The children there were either kidnapped or sold by their own parents because of economical reasons" I explained
The people that didn't know anything were hearing this in disbelief
"Their plan backfired after we caused a rebellion and took over their institution. We revealed and blackmailed the US government forcing them to take worldwide action against this entire operation. Several other countries had similar programs in place and the United Nations took direct action to stop their illegal operations worldwide. This happened behind closed doors" Kazuki continued
"My kidnapping happened after my birth. The doctors were part of this entire project and told my parents that I died after my birth. Personally, I never met them"
"T-That's why..." Chabashira remember something that confirmed my last words
"That was our first meeting. I met the other Karuizawa for the first time right there and then" I confirmed her words
"On the other hand, my luck was a little better than hers. I met my parents afterwards and we spent a few years living together. Some years later, we reunited with each other randomly again, solved the riddle behind this school and used that to our advantage"
Chie, Chabashira and the injured girls started to cry
Mashima-sensei was sad
I can hear some sobbing noises behind a nearby bush too... I'm going to check on them later
"Relax. We have no regrets, this school gave us a lot of chances and we're changing towards a better path day by day"
"Rei is right. This is a great chance for us to experience some things as normal humans like friendship for example"
We finished in a more hopeful note for them
"Darker things around the world... My desire towards Class A is nothing..." Chabashira expressed her true emotions
"You can say that again..." Chie confirmed her words with a similar tone
"You never gave up and continued living normally even after experiencing a torturous environment like that. You have my respect" Mashima-sensei praised us honorably
"I had a feeling, that you were not normal to begin with. You awakened my hidden desire to surpass both of you" Kiryūin said excited with a smile
"Please do" I acknowledged her challenge
She laughed after my reply
"I will" She said with a smirk
Chihiro was sobbing
"If you're going to cry for me like that, you're going to make Ichinose jealous, Shiranami-san" Kazuki teased her
"Th-That's not it" Chihiro reacted while blushing with some tears from before
"I'm already taken~" She continued her teasing
"St-Stop, K-Kazuki-chan" Chihiro reacted with a tomato face
"They proved that their experience is real. Their arguments were sufficient enough to support their reckless earlier decision" Kiyotaka supported us
He is still hiding. It's the best choice for him, right now
"I agree with Kiyotaka. We can go deeper without any problems" Ichika also joined
"We revealed our backstories only to support our argument and not for a pity arc. We want to remove them from this mess" Kazuki said to them with a sharp expression
"It's regretful for us, but we have no other choice. I accept"
Chabashira and Chie nodded at Mashima-sensei's final decision
"You took a lot of time to accept our merciful offer. Delinquent-girl, what are you going to do with our little spies" Kōenji pointed them out
"Come out, we noticed your presence from the very beginning" Kazuki spoke for me
Maya, Chiaki, Haruka and surprisingly Ichinose came out from their hiding spot
Ichinose went to her friends and hugged them
That's awkward...
"That explains everything..." Chiaki was the first one to say something
"Not really..."
"I mean your overly aggressive personality and your general apathy towards many things. Also, your insane knowledge and physical capabilities"
That's only half of it, Stalker-chan
"It was a matter of time either way, my secrets end right here. Is this the end of your daily spying game?" I accepted her observations with a joke
"Not really, that was only Volume 1" She said proudly with a smug smile
"You little!" I got a little annoyed
A special nutcase...
I turned to the other two
"You know almost everything. I'm not a normal girl like you and my ideology is flawed. The best case scenario for your well being is to stop our friendship right here"
"Noooo!!!" They both screamed with tears
They tried to stop their tears with everything they had but they resumed crying after my speech
"You fail to understand your own feelings, like usual" Kazuki attacked me
"I'm not" I denied her statement
"Then... What are you feeling right now?"
It's impossible for me to answer her with a clear answer
"I-I don't know..."
"See? After your stupid proposal to them, you started crying too"
I realized that her words are true after I touched my cheek with my hand
"Rechi, your past is darker than most people like you said but you are not alone" Haruka said with a serious expression
"Is that an indirect indication that you suffered some dark stuff too?" I asked her out of curiosity
"Who knows" She used our meme answer for the first time
She tries to brighten our mood
"She is right, you know. It's impossible for me to relate to you, but I want to help you as a friend" Maya followed after her
"You... you naive idiots... I surrender... you win..." I admided defeat with a lot of tears
The people that didn't know me well were surprised by this revelation
"Inside this school, you are by far... the most problematic existence" Kiyotaka burned me with his attack
"I have to agree with Ayanokōji-boy, Delinquent-girl" Kōenji agreed with him while laughing
"Rightfully so... I still can't believe that I've lost versus friendship speeches... Ichinose would be so proud if she was here" I teased the silent Ichinose
"I-I'm here! For a heartless witch, you showed us a lot of emotion, Rei-chan. I'm also sorry for what happened to you" She showed me some sympathy too
"Don't forget, Kazuki..."
"Don't worry, about me. I'm not as problematic as you" She said it as a joke
"Yes... Yes... Enough drama for now. The rescue team is : Me, Kazuki, Anya, Kōenji,
Kiryūin, Kiyotaka and Ichika" I resumed our primary problem
"I'll join you too. I'm hiding my true abilities" Chiaki said with a smile
"W-What?" Maya and Haruka reacted with surprise
"You can blame me, I asked her to hide them" I redirected the blame
"I don't even care. I got surprised, that's all" Maya explained
"Me too" Haruka agreed with her
If you ever learned her true reason of hiding them, then...

"You can count me in" Ichinose recommended herself
"But, your physical capabilities are almost average" I tried to repel her
"Ayanokōji-kun is similar"

"Kiyotaka is a good cook" I gave her another excuse
"I'm also a great cook and I have some camping experience"

"Thank you" She thanked me with a smile
She wants to save other people, even her enemies. That's Ichinose Honami for ya
Kei, Kikyō and Horikita arrived with some camping supplies
I whispered to Kikyō to recover my things before the snake commotion
Horikita and Kei acted on Kiyotaka's orders
"Chie-chan, we took a lot of resources without using any class points for our journey. Kikyō also brought me my knives for self-defense and my phone for communication" I informed her
She laughed
"It's funny that your little silly plan helped us at the end"
"We will also join you" Kei spoke for the three of them
"Take this, you can track the other students with this" Chie-chan gave me a special device
"Ichinose, here" Chabashira's gave hers to Ichinose
"I will keep mine" Mashima-sensei kept his
Ryūen's teacher has also one
I opened the GPS tracker and things were not that simple
"Kiyotaka, it's impossible for me to form a clear plan with only one team"
I gave him my device
Horikita came closer
"This is too much even for you. That's why, I'm not believing your little show. I just can't believe that you turned this exam into a dangerous survival game" Horikita whispered to me
"You are right" I said with my normal voice
"What do you mean?" Kikyō asked me
"Horikita wanted to know the right way to confess to someone. In her case, it's Kyo-chan" I teased both of them
They both punched my sides
"S-Shut up!!!" Horikita shouted at me with a blush
"That's quite rude, Rei-chan" Kikyō said with a scary smile
"Everyone has the tendency to hit me after my godly jokes... Kiyotaka, are you done?" I asked him
"I forged the most optical path for this rescue mission. It's necessary to optimize it and save the two standalone signals as a priority" He informed us
People nearby were impressed by his rare active role
"Wait, Kiyochan. We have enough volunteers for two different rescue teams" Kazuki recommended
Kiyochan? Is that Haruka?
"You are correct. It's impossible for her to be egotistical and selfish in our current state" He closed again my escape route
"The west-north team is Rei-chan, Kikyō-chan, Kōenji-kun, Anya-chan, Chiaki-chan and Ichinose-san. A good alternative name is the almighty Witch's Cult" She teased me

"That leaves the other team. Kazuki, Kiyotaka, Ichika, Horikita, Kiryūin and Kei aka 'The Hornykōji Harem'" I teased her back
Horikita and Kei unleashed some bloodlust after my joke
"You can punish her later..." Kiyotaka stopped them
"We will!!!" They both shouted
My ears!
We shared the resources between our newly formed teams
The teachers went back with the injured students
Maya and Haruka also joined them after our farewells
"Our meeting point is the cave in the middle. This is the best spot overall for our future meetings" Kiyotaka revealed our meeting spot
We nodded
"It's time for us to depart. It's near impossible to control her but please do" Kiyotaka gave my group some unnecessary instruction
"Don't worry, Hornypon. I'll be fine" I returned his fire with a new nickname
They started to disappear slowly deeper into the forest
We started walking towards the opposite direction too
"I'm not that good with GPS devices" I said to them
Kōenji ignores me...
"We are on the same page" Kikyō said with a sigh
The other's were ready to give their answers but something unexpected happened
"Wait... Wait, I want to join you" Yuki-chan said from behind us
"She was Spy-girl number five, Witch-girl" Kōenji revealed that to me with a new nickname
"So that's the reason she revealed herself to us, that late" I said a little surprised
"After... You revealed your backstory, I was unable to move. I got a lot of negative emotions and it was nearly impossible for me to accept this cruelty" She expressed herself with some tears
"Like I said... Everything is fine, it's near unthinkable for someone to change their past, that's why I'm having no problems with it. On a unrelated note, what's your overall experience on navigation?"
"Let's say, I'm above average" She answered
"Lead the way, leader-san" I said to her with a smirk
"Wh-What, but you mocked this entire examination" She said surprised
"My training was incomplete. I can only survive and defend myself" I admitted the truth
"I don't want to brag about it, but I'm quite skilled" She said proudly
"We wasted a lot of time, let's get going" Chiaki interfered correctly
What a drag...
I'm curious about something... what the hell happened to the rescuers???

That was a big chapter. Some ideas were kind of random but I kept them
The rescue teams will have two different POVs every chapter
Vol3 will have another 3-4 chapters
I'm not that satisfied with this one to be honest
