I am a bit nervous when I call mum on skype, Ashton and I are sitting in front of the screen. It takes a few seconds for my mum's smiling face to appear on the screen. "My darlings!" I smile. "Hi mum!" I wave. "Hey darlings, and..."
"Hello madam, I am Ashton." Ashton smiles a little shyly. It is very cute to see. "Hello, please call me Trischa!" She smiles back. "Mom, Juul has something to tell you." I give Zayn a shove. My mother looks at me questioningly. "I uhm... Ashton uhm..." I stammer. "Ashton is my friend." I say in one breath. "Really! Oh what fun Juul!" My mother replies enthusiastically. "And he looks nice." She winks at me. "Mom, he's in there!" I say embarrassed as everyone laughs. "I know. Ashton, are you taking good care of my daughter?" I'm sure she's doing this to tease me, Zayn got that from her. "Mom!" I whine. "Okay, okay, I'll stop already" She laughs. Beside me, Zayn doesn't recover either.
Fortunately, the rest of the skype conversation proceeded normally. Ashton talks about himself and we talk about what we have been through.
When I finish Skype, after an hour, I sigh with satisfaction. "It was nice to see Mum again." Zayn nods. "Your mum is a super nice woman." Says Ashton smiling. "She is the strongest and most awesome person i know." I say. "I feel bad for her, she's been home alone for over a month..." I mumble. "She should get a new boyfriend again." Says Zayn. "She wouldn't dare." Sighs I.
"Is... your father just leave?" Asks Ashton with doubt in his voice. "Or am I not allowed to ask that?"
"He didn't come home after a fierce argument. He had taken pills or something. And after a week he called that he was fed up. That he loved me and Juul, but that he couldn't take it any more... Juul cried for him every day for three months..." Sighs Zayn. He stares sadly ahead. "Juul and he had a strong bond..." Ashton puts an arm around me. I shrug. "Nothing to be done." I mumble, as if I don't care.
"What does your mother think?" Ashton sits there a little uncomfortably. "No idea, we never really talk about it. Nobody likes that." I reply. "Nope." Zayn mutters. "Of course we miss him, but talking about it all the time won't bring him back..." I explain. Ashton nods. "It's almost Father's Day again, isn't it?" I ask. "Do I know..." Mutters Zayn. "He gets up. "I'm going back to the boys for a bit." He mumbles. He walks out of the hotel room.
"You know... I haven't told anyone this but..." I sigh for a moment. "Of course I miss daddy, a little more every day. But when someone says: who is your father figure, I see Zayn in front of me." I admit. Ashton looks at me. "You should say that to him sometime..." He replies. I shrug my shoulders. "Maybe." I mumble.
I grab my mobile. It's 11 pm by now, everyone has already gone to bed. I scroll through my messages: 106 interactions on twitter! I read through the most important ones;

I sigh. The rest of the interactions are about Jashton. I'd love to tweet it, but it's better if we wait a bit. Then I get an app from Ashton
