THIRD PERSON.
"OKAY SO," CORBYN SAID AS HIM AND KATE WALKED into his studio, the boy taking a seat beside one of the laptops as Kate stood beside him, "your song."
"My song." She nodded.
"Yes," he said, turning his chair round to face her as he looked up at the girl.
"What did you want to show me?" She asked him.
"I don't want you standing up we'll be here a while." He gave her a smile, grabbing her waist and pulling her onto his lap before turning back to the laptop, "are you comfy?"
A smile growing on Kate's face, she pulled the sleeves of the hoodie she was wearing over her hands and rested them on top of Corbyn's, who placed his free hand around her waist and on her thigh while the other was being used for the laptop.
"I'm comfy." Kate replied, watching him nod before he proceeded to talk.
"You did most of the producing so obviously you didn't need to come in for any tweaks to that." He explained, "but Daniel and I added a few extra bits to the song, it doesn't sound too different but it's just like.. perfected it."
"Okay."
"Are you sure this is what you want to do?" Corbyn asked as he turned to look at her, "because the music industry can be harsh and will walk over you if you let it."
"I'm sure." She gave him a nod, "why would I not be sure?"
"Because of your parents." He frowned, "I'm just double checking."
"I'm very sure." She gave him a smile, wrapping her arms around his neck as she rested her head on top of his, "continue speaking."
"Alrighty," he shrugged and smiled, "you need to be the one to make the announcement to the song, I can help you through that but after that's released and depending on how well it goes with everyone, Randy will offer to be your manager."
"Is that a good thing?"
"Randy is quite good, so yes." He nodded, "But if you say no to him, we can try other people around but he's already offered and he's heard the song, he thinks it'll do really well in the charts."
"Alright," Kate replied, "okay, I hope it does do well."
"We already started promo so you don't need to worry about that." Corbyn shrugged, "and.. yeah I think that's all I need to say."
"That's all?" She turned to look at him.
"That's all." Corbyn nodded, turning his head towards her as he smiled, "are you wearing my hoodie by the way?"
"I was cold," she frowned, "it was the closest hoodie to me."
"I'm not complaining."
"All you ever do is complain."
"That's all you do." He argued, "if you can find something to complain about, you'll let the world know."
"I do not do that." She shook her head, "I just have bad luck and I think people need to know that."
"You just like complain," he mumbled, a smile remaining on his face as Kate sighed and looked at him, shaking her head while she narrowed her eyes, "you do."
"You are so fucking annoying." Kate told him as he laughed slightly and placed a kiss on her cheek, "that doesn't solve this."
"Then I'm going to change topic," he shrugged, "so.. what would you like to do for our second date?"
"Is that in the making?"
"It is." Corbyn nodded, "what are you feeling up to?"
"Bowling," she suggested, "it gives me a chance to throw the ball at your head and knock some sense into you."
"Not bowling if you're going to do that." Corbyn shook his head, "I'm not feeling a dinner either."
"We could go see a movie?"
"Any movie in particular?"
"Not really." Kate sighed, "we could just go and pick the one with the worst rating and really heavily judge it."
"That actually sounds very fun." He nodded, "so that's a date?"
"Sounds like one." Kate replied.
"Also, I have an award show coming up that the band was invited to and we are all allowed to bring a plus one," he explained, "Daniel has Franny, Zach has Kay, would you like to be my plus one..?"
"I would love to be your plus one." She smiled and placed a kiss on his forehead, "when is it?"
"Next Friday."
"Okay, second date Sunday and then we have Friday? Does that sound good?"
"That sounds excellent, works for me." Corbyn said, "Can I kiss you Katelyn?"
"You can," the girl immediately grinned, a light shade of pink appearing on her cheeks as their lips met and one of her hands cupped his face.
And as Kate went to deepened the kiss, the boy had pulled away slightly as he moved her hair behind her shoulders, letting out a small sigh while she looked at him confused.
"What..?" She asked.
"Nothing." He shrugged, "I was just looking at you."
"What for?"
"For the sake of looking at you." He laughed, "you're pretty."
"You spend all day with me at the moment," Kate argued, "you don't need to tell me that if you think it."
"But then how will you know I think it?"
"Because.. I don't know." She shrugged, "didn't realise you had to tell me that."
"I'm just letting you know," Corbyn told her, "you're very beautiful and I think you need to be told that."
"Well thank you." She smiled, "I appreciate it."
