As I walked to the training rooms, I couldn't help but do feel a little nervous.
I mean training for the mafia, being in a mafia family, it's a lot.
But I do know I feel better and happier.
While walking suddenly someone behind me grabbed my shoulder.
I of course, shocked as hell, thinking I'm in danger...
Grabbed the persons hand and flipped them over my shoulder, still holding their hand and set my foot against their neck.
I immediately let go once I saw that I did that to Xavier.
I dropped too my knees next too him, " Oh my god, are you crazy why would you sneak up on me like that? Are you okay?" I questioned further when he groaned in pain as he moved.
"Yes ah fuck nope." He said trying to get up.
I grabbed his arm and helped him up.
I looked at him and at his body looking for any injuries.
I didn't find any at first sight, but I knew from experience how much these things could hurt.
"I'm sorry, can I get you anything. Like an ice pack or I don't know some chocolate or chips, I know you like that"
He agreed and I ran downstairs getting an ice pack and some chocolate before running to the training room where he was now seated on the ground.
I walked in front of him and crouched down.
"Where does it hurt?" I asked as I handed him the chocolate.
"My back" He groaned.
I nodded before standing up and walking behind him.
"Can I lift up your shirt and look?" I asked for permission.
He just vaguely nodded giving me it.
I slowly lifted his shirt and looked around his back.
I could see a bruis forming, but that was it.
"I'm going to put the ice pack on the forming bruis okay."
"Mhm"
I lifted the ice pack and placed it on his back an held it there.
He hissed as the ice pack made contact with it, but that was all.
"Does it hurt much?" I asked a little scared for his answer, I didn't mean to hurt him like that.
"No, it's fine. It doesn't hurt much, it's just a bruise." He answered back seeing my sad face.
"Okay" I said as I gave him a hug, "I hope you feel better soon, and again sorry"
He just chuckled as he hugged me back, "thank you and you don't have to be sorry, I shouldn't have sneaked up on you like that."
"Xavier why in god's name are you sitting on the ground with your shirt off?" Grandpa sighed as he walked in.
"It's not his fault grandpa, it's mine." I answered, I didn't want him to get in trouble...wait, why would he even get in trouble for these kind of things.
Ohh, no yeah I know why I thought that,...my past it's all just been drilled into me.
"Hey, you guys are fine, you're not getting in trouble for these kind of things Val." Grandpa said as he walked closer.
He helped me and Xavier stand up as he continued talking, "Now what happened, and why is there an ice pack, are you guys hurt?" He asked frantically as soon as he noticed the ice pack on the ground.
"No, it's fine now grandpa. I sneaked up on Val and she threw me over her shoulder making me hit my back on some bad places on the floor. It hurt so Val got an ice pack." Xavier explained as he moved with his shoulders a little, looking to see if it would hurt if he would move in a certain way.
"She threw you over her shoulder. Your little sister threw you over her shoulder." He started chuckling at the realisation.
After a few seconds the laugher died down and he spoke again seeing that Xavier was glaring at him, but first he gave a glare back making Xavier shriek away. "No, but I hope your back will heal fast." Grandpa said as he patted Xavier's shoulder and gave him a...sort of hug I think, before lifting me up and bringing me to the weapons.
"What do I need to do?" I asked as grandpa started taking out weapons.
I looked over to dad who had also entered the room with the others trailing behind him.
"You will be armed with two guns, one on each hip with extra bullets and also a lot of throwing knifes on you thighs and some on your arms and then finally also some strapped on your chest." He said as he walked towards grandpa who was still grabbing some weapons.
Dad picked up some holsters and straps and then asked if he could bind them on me.
I agreed and he started putting it all on me, while he started talking again.
"Now, what I need you to do. There will be three levels. In the first one you will just need to shoot and throw with you knifes and guns to the targets, they will be standing still. On the second level the targets will be able to move too and you will need to do the same thing. And than in the last level, you'll do the same thing as the other two, but the targets will move and will have weapons on them too. The weapons are just some paintball guns, later on they will have weapons that can give you the same pain as a real gun or knife, but that's only for in a couple of days or maybe even weeks. These weapons can not harm you in any way medically, it's just some kind of pin that'll hit your nerves and give the same pain, nothing more. But you don't need to worry about that for now. Okay?"
"Okay, do I need to shoot the targets in a certain area. Like do I need to shoot them in the head, chest, neck, stomach, private area,..?"
All the men in the room cringed at the mention of maybe shooting them in their dicks but yeah.
"No, Yes. You choose, try to shoot them in the neck, heart or head, so in real life an instant kill."
"Okay."
Dad finished with putting the weapons on me and walked me to the closed part where I would have to do the first level, from outside you could look inside, so my family could see what I'm doing.
Dad kissed my head wishing me good luck before leaving the room.
