chapter ten;
the one with the flowers
THE FOUR Marauders were worried for Aven and so were the girls. Aven have had trouble sleeping and eating for days now. She always puts on a smile on her face, but they know that it was fake.
Aven tried to be strong for herself and for Emillio but she's close to breaking. So she did the one thing that she thought she would never do. Talk. Rant. Ask for help.
"Hey Siri can i talk to you?" Aven cleared her throat looking at her best friend
"Yeah, sure V" Sirius smiled at her
"Can we go to my dorm?" Aven asked
"Of course, come one Star" Sirius replied
The two of them went up to the dorm and closed the door.
"Okay uhm i don't want you to pity me after this so please don't" Aven said shaking and Sirius just nod at her
"Uhm so remember when i got that letter from my sister and i told you that it was about her moving out?" Aven asked
"Yeah i remember" Sirius nodded before telling her to go on
"Well the letter wasn't about that" Aven sighed grabbing the letter and giving it to Sirius
"Are you sure you want me to read this?" Sirius asked looking at her softly
"Yeah i'm sure" Aven slightly smiled
Sirius read the letter and his heart dropped. He read the letter until the last words of Aven's mother. Sirius put the letter down and immediately walked to Aven's direction to hug her.
"Come here" Sirius said bringing Aven into his arms and Aven melted into his touch.
Aven let out some tears and Sirus stroked her hair, calming her down.
"It's okay" Sirius whispered
"Why didn't you tell any of us?" Sirius asked still stroking Aven's hair
"I didnt want to be a burden. I felt like if i kept talking about my problems you all will get tired of me you know" Aven answered pulling away
"V, you barely talk about your problems" Sirius pointed out looking at her
"Yeah i know i just, i didn't want to be a burden you know" Aven repeated again
"I understand, but you're not a burden okay, you never were and you'll never be" Sirius smiled
"Okay, thankyou for listening to me" Aven smiled back at Sirius
"And don't worry you won't have to hide this from the others, i'll tell them tomorrow" Aven continued
"Okay, now you wanna go downstairs or do you wanna stay here or do you want to be alone?" Sirius asked
"Let's go downstairs, i need some distractions" Aven said
"Lets go my Queen" Sirius bowed down before offering Aven his hand
"Why thankyou Princess" Aven laughed taking Sirius's hand

The two of them walked down together, their friends smirked at each other.
"There you go my Queen" Sirius said letting go of Aven's hand
"Thankyou Princess" Aven grinned
"My pleasure" Sirius winked
The two of them laughed and sat on the couch with their friends.
"Lily my Queen" James said looking at Lily who just tolled her eyes, but a miracle happened to James. She smiled.
"SHE SMILED AT ME" James yelled looking at the Marauders
"Yes, and she's still here" Remus touched his ears
"I KNOW" James yelled again
"Prongs stop yelling" Peter winced
"I CAN'T I'M TOO EXCITED I THINK I'M GONNA DIE" James yet again yelled
"Dramatic James" Sirius and Aven said at the same time. They looked at each other bursting out laughing.
"I am NOT dramatic" James yelled standing up
"Of course you're not James, just a tad bit over reacting" Sofia scrunched her noese
"I hate you guys" James sighed sitting back on the couch
"Except for?" Dorcas urged James to continue
"Except for Lily of course" James smiled at Lily who continued to ignore him
Alice shook her head at her friends behavior.
"Hey guys i have a question" Alice said closing her book
"What is it Als?" Marlene asked
"If you were a color what kind of color would you be?" Alice asked looking at her friends
"Well my color is in my name so we all know that the color is black" Sirius said with a smug on his face
"Okay that's uh fair i guess" Aven nodded and Sirius just winked at her
"I think Alice is yellow" Aven said looking at Alice who smiled at her before nodding in agreement
"Remus would be brown" Sirius said and Remus just nod with a yeah i guess expression
"Yes, and you Jay are red" Remus said pointing his finger at James
"Aven are either green or blue" Sofia said and Aven agreed
"And you Soph are purple" Alice nodded at Sofia
"Marls i think you and Sirius have the same colour" Dorcas looked at Marlene
"And i think you're a dark blue" Marlene looked back at Dorcas
"Peter you are orange, or brown honestly" Sirius told him
"Lily would be white" James muttered
"You're saying she's boring?" Aven joked faked gasp
"WHAT? NO!"
"I'M JUST SAYING MOST LILIES ARE WHITE AND LILIES ARE BEAUTIFUL AND WHITE IS LITERALLY THE COLOUR OF INNOCENCE AND PURENESS" James yelled they all stared at James, trying so hard to not laugh
They finally let go of the laugh that they've been holding back.
"James James James you know that Ave was joking right" Marlene laughed
"WHAT IS THIS? BULLYING JAMES DAY?" James yelled
"Honey that's everyday" Aven said taking a sip of her water
"And you said she would be the one who wouldn't laugh at you" Sirius shook his head, a smirk growing on his face
"Oh don't you just love watching James like this?" Peter sighed laying down
"Definitely, i love watching James suffer like this" Remus smirked
"Lily what do you think?" Dorcas asked her friend who glanced at James
"I'm not gonna answer any of you" Lily smiled looking at her book again
"Lils you can just be honest" Marlene said
"And give you the satisfaction?" Lily asked closing her book
"No it's to mock James" Aven smirked at James who was pouting with his hand crossed around his chest like a baby
They all laughed at James and even Lily chuckled.
"Oh Jay you big baby we're just joking around" Aven stood up to ruffle James's hair
"You're all mean" James scoffed which caused Aven to ruffle his hair even more
"It's not being mean sweetie, it's having fun" Lily said with a grin looking at James
They all looked at Lily, surprised that she just talked to James.
"D-DID SHE JUST T-TALK TO M-ME AND CALLED ME FUCKING SWEETIE?" James yelled stuttering
"C-c-can y-y-you s-s-stop y-yelling" Aven mocked
"AVE I WOULD SLAP YOUR HEAD RIGHT NOW BUT I'M TOO HAPPY" James yelled yet again
"For Merlin's sakes what have i done" Lily sighed, her eyes not leaving her book
Aven sat back next to Sirius and looked at the ceiling before saying.
"Justice for merlin"
"Prongs maybe you need to calm down" Remus suggested
"Okay i'm calm, cool cool cool cool cool,
no doubt no doubt no doubt no doubt" James rambled
"I wake up everyday only to see this happen" Sofia laughed
"Ahh Minne, James' mother, good to see you here" Aven joked
"I swear to merlin i'm gonna slap your head real hard Ave" James said embarrassed
"Aww Jamesy you can't say that in front of your mother" Sirius smirked
"Well Mr.Black, Miss Cross, Miss Blossom, Mr Potter, Mr.Pettigrew, Miss McKinnon, Miss Meadows, Miss Evans, Mr Lupin, Miss Fortescue good to see you here hanging out and not pranking people" Mcgonagall smiled
"That was very mouthful" Aven and Peter muttered and looked at each other laughing
"Well we really need a break here Minnie" James told her
"James don't call your mother by your nickname" Alice said gasping
"Seriously Als you too?" James frowned and Alice just shrugged
"James repeat after me, call Mcgonagall mother" Sirius instructed and James threw a pillow at him
"As you can see here professor it's making fun of James day" Remus explained the confused professor
"I see, but isn't that everyday?" Mcgonagall asked with a teasing smile
"Oh it is Minnie, we just went a little bit more today" Peter said with a smirk
Mcgonagall just shake her head at Peter's comment, but she smiled.
"Well you kids enjoy your weekends, i'll see you at dinner" Mcgonagall said before leaving her kids alone to mock James again
"Jamesy you know we love you right" Aven said looking at the pouting boy
"Aww is baby James upset" Sirius joked
"Okay Prongs, we're sorry" Remus laughed
"oKaY pRoNgS wE'rE sOrRy" James mocked Remus
"Okay i'm not sorry because that was hilarious" Marlene laughed
"I hate you guys"James said saying the same sentence that he has been saying more than four times
They thought that Professor Mcgonagall was gone but she wasn't. She was hiding behind the walls listening to her kids having fun.
"WE LOVE YOU TOO JAMES" Everyone yelled, well except for Lily of course
"Kids" Mcgonagall shook her head
