Rin woke up from being knocked out for whatever study Overhaul decided to do on her. She stood up but quickly fell. The white hooded yakuza assisted to help her up and Rin was practically draped over his head since she was taller than him.
"What did you do to me?" Rin asked with hate laced in her voice.
"Nothing that won't wear off. I was instructed to perform surgery on you to see any physical signs of your quirk. Leading me to use an injection that weakened your muscles." He explained and placed Rin back into the chair while her legs regained feeling. She then noticed the bandages on her legs and arm. Unlike Eri's, there was some blood seeping through them.
She then looked at her hand and she saw it covered in blood. Sho looked up to see the room pitch black and a figure walking towards her. When it got closer she saw it was a woman with long white hair. She had blood staining the front of her shirt and a trail of blood seeped out her mouth.
"Why Rin? Why did you leave?" The woman asked and each time she opened her mouth more blood spilled out. It dropped onto Rin's legs and her eyes widened in horror.
"I'm sorry mom." Rin whimpered. Everything suddenly snapped back and the doctor was standing next to her again.
"Oh yeah, the medication causes hallucinations as well." He said boredom and Rin couldn't get that image out of her head now. Of course now that she's gotten more control of her emotions about her mom, the trauma just had to come hurling back at her.
As Rin was getting feeling back in her limbs Overhaul walked into the room. Rin glared at him while he walked to the white hooded yakuza and looked at the price of paper. Overhaul then glared at the paper and looked up at Rin.
"Excuse us." Overhaul ordered to his right hand man and he obligated. When the door shut Overhaul walked around Rin to seem intimidating.
"What do you want?" Rin asked.
"What's the secret in your quirk?" Overhaul asked and finally stoped right in front of her.
"Pardon?" Rin asked with confusion.
"The medical scans showed all the signs a quirkless person has. And your quirk has physical abilities, something was bound to show itself during the surgery. Yet there was nothing." Overhaul slammed his hands down on the arms of the chair and glared almost an inch away from her face. "What is your secret?"
"Like I'm gonna tell you. Not even my friends know yet. You have no chance." Rin said with a victorious smirk. He continued to glare until he stood up fully.
"Oh, I will get your quirk." He finished and left the room. The white hooded yakuza then came back in and put the hind cuff on before taking Rin back to Eri's room. On the way there Rin noticed a decorated corner, she thought it was the hallucination. There were scrapes on the wall that no one could make.

Rin was put back into Eri's room and the cuff was taken off. When the door was shut Rin felt a small force hit her leg. She was relieved to look down and see Eri okay but crying.
"Eri what's wrong?" Rin asked and kneeled down to be at her height.
"Y-you we're gone for so long, I..." Eri didn't complete her sentence and just hugged Rin. The dual haired girl accepted it and held Eri in a comforting hug.
"Don't worry. I'll never abandon you." Rin said reassuringly. It settled Eri's cries and she sniffled into Rin's shoulder. "Eri. I was actually wondering what happened to your parents?"
"I don't know."
"You don't know what happened to them?" Rin asked in confusion. She got a head shake from Eri and a confused look.
"I don't know." Eri said again. Rin realized what she meant and picked Eri up. The dual haired girl walked over to the bed and placed Eri there while she sat on the edge.
"Parents are normally mom's and dad's sometimes people have two moms or dads. Parents watch over their kids and take care of them, until the kid is able to live on their own. Both dad's and mom's provide in many different ways, either getting money or keeping the kid's environment safe. And both parents, often times will fight to protect their child." Rin explained and Eri finally understood what parents are supposed to be.
"So...you're my, mom?" Eri asked unsure. Rin smiled down at her and pulled the kid into a hug.
"I will be more than happy to be." Rin said and leaned against the wall while Eri laid on her legs and eventually fall asleep.
Meanwhile, Overhaul was sitting in his office and tried thinking of multiple ways to get Rin's quirk. Then it all suddenly clicked. He remembered seeing black veins bulge up her skin when the high pitched noise went off.
'That was it. That's her weakness.' Overhaul thought to himself and quickly got to work.

"Today we will be doing patrols and surveillance." Sir Nighteye instructed to Midoriya, Togata, and Bubble Girl who were standing in front of his desk. "We'll split up into two teams. I'll be with Bubble Girl, and Mirio you're with Midoriya."
"Surveillance?" Midoriya questioned. On the inside this is exactly what he wanted. A chance to look for Rin.
"The Nighteye Agency is currently working on a secret investigation." Bubble Girl explained to Midoriya.
"Shie Hassaikai is a small organized crime syndicate. That's Kai Chisaki. As the young head of the group, he's the second in command." Sir Nighteye said while showing a picture of the man.
"Creepy. I thought there wasn't much trouble with organized crimes these days since the police know who they are and monitor their movements." Midoriya said to himself.
"It's been that way since the big groups broke up. But this Chisaki guy is starting to gather them together again, thought we don't know why." Bubble Girl explained again. "The details are unclear, but we do know he made contact with the League of Villains recently."
Midoriya was somewhat surprised by that information.
"Unfortunately, we don't have solid proof linking him to anything criminal yet. Hassaikai operates in a legal gray area that's close to black, but we can't treat them like villains. Or objective is to tail them and find out what they're up to. Be careful not to arouse an suspicion.
"Yes sir." The three trainees replied and they were in their way.

Rin was laying in Eri's room with the small girl laying on her stomach. The dual haired girl looked down at the small child and a determined glint shined in her eyes.
'I won't let her have a life like mine.' Rin thought to herself, remembering her previous hallucinations that have worn off by now. Rin sat up causing Eri to stir awake.
"What's wrong mama?" Eri questioned while rubbing the tiredness out of her eyes. It was odd for Eri to refer to Rin as that but something about it felt right. Rin smiled before standing up and brushing out her hair with her fingers.
"We're going out." Rin said simply. She knew she was going to get in trouble if
Overhaul found out. But if it meant Eri could have a, closer to normal life. Then she would risk everything, even her life. Eri sat up from the bed in shock.
"B-but. H-he." Eri trembled at the thought of what Overhaul would do to the woman.
"He would be lucky to get a scratch on me." Rin smiled brightly. It calmed Eri's nerves and she collapsed. Rin forced the door open and peeked out to see if anyone's there. There wasn't anyone so she grabbed climbed into the wall to climb onto the ceiling. Then a black tendril reached down and picked up Eri. The tendril placed Eri on Rin's stomach and she held in while Rin climbed along the ceiling.
Rin kept climbing and if anyone walked by she made sure she wasn't over a light. If she was over a light then the shadow would cast on the ground and her cover, blown. She made it to the suspicious door and dropped onto the ground. Eri had her legs around Rin's torso and her arms around her neck. Rin looked at the fancy setup and noticed a tile spaced wider than the others.
"Please be a secret door." Rin begged and pressed the tile. The door opened to reveal another hallway.
"Yay." Eri said and Rin lightly chuckled at her.

Rin got back on the ceiling because this hallway seemed connected to a house. And it was. They went up a staircase to see the house. Rin looked around and found a nearby window to escape out of. She climbed over and quietly opened the window before climbing out and closing it again. Eri had a wide smile on her face and Rin leaped over the wall that surrounded the house.
The two cheered and continued their walk away from the house. Rin and Eri were having fun adventuring the town. They almost forgot about the whole, just escaping basically prison situation.
Almost.
Rin was indiscreetly leading Eri towards the closest place she could trust. Nighteye's agency. If Rin ever spotted a mask, she would turn to go down an ally to avoid said person. It was working very well until one of the masked people noticed her.
"Today was so fun mama." Eri said excitedly. It made Rin beyond happy to know that she was able to make Eri smile.
"I agree." Rin said and looked forward and her eyes immediately targeted a man leaning against a wall with a mask on. It wasn't a plague mask but Rin saw that not all members wore the bulky masks. Rin turned to the side down an ally and gently held onto Eri's hand.
On the roof of the two buildings making the ally. Four men stood on one side while three stood on the other. Rin sensed their presence and tried to stay calm. She stoped and kneeled down to Eri's height.
"Eri, you're gonna need to run okay?" Rin asked and the kid's smile turned into a worried look.
"What's wrong mama?" Eri asked. Rin looked through Venom's eyes and saw the enemy's getting ready to attack.
"Don't worry about me. Just find Sir Nighteye. His building is to the right and straight down the street. Just keep running." Rin said and slightly pushed Eri away to stand back up and catch the villains mid air, after they jumped off. One villain turned his fists into light purple crystals and punched his fists together. Causing the black ink to falter and let him go. Another just ate the ink!?! However, he didn't like the taste so he just spat the black color out. Those two saved the other villains and now all of them were ready to fight.
Eri turned to run and a blonde villain went after her but was quickly blocked by a black tendril. Not only was he blocked but the black ink that came out Rin's back blocked the whole entire exit of the ally.
"You won't touch her." Rin said with venom laced in her tone.
"Okay." The villain shrugged off and attacked her. Along with the other six. Rin didn't realize that the seven people went down to six. The reason being was that Overhaul went after Eri.
Meanwhile with Eri.
The ally felt like an eternity run for the kid. When Eri finally made it into the sunlight, she knocked into someone. The kid fell to the ground and the person she knocked into was slightly startled.
"Woah I'm sorry. You took a tumble. Are you okay? Can I help you up?" The person asked while kneeling down to her level. It was a young man with green hair and freckles. His caring facial expression reminded the little girl of her self proclaimed mother. He set his hands under her arms so he could help her up but she was trembling.
'Why is she trembling?' Midoriya thought to himself.
"You should be more careful." A vpise said and Eri flinched at the all too familiar voice. "We don't wanna cause trouble for the heroes." Overhaul said while walking out of the ally. Midoriya froze. This was the Kai Chisaki that Sir Nighteye warned about.
Eri looked over her shoulder in fear. If he was here then...
