Dear Diary,
The moment of rest is well deserved.

Toby pressed his nose to the side of my head, giggling to himself as he did so. "C-come on," he whined, "jus-sss-st l-lay down!"

I huffed happily and gently pushed him away, fiddling with the DVD player I had nestled under the TV. I had told myself so many times to just get a smart TV, something better than this, but no, I pushed it away and away and I was still here. Not like I could get one now, I was running low on expenses after getting fired. Really, I hadn't been fired , but no one had texted me besides Margaret, but that had only been twice. I had just assumed that after not showing up for a few weeks meant that they had fired me or assumed I quit. At the time, it wasn't like I could go back, but now it meant I could cut ties easier.

Sure, I had a family, but they only reached out to me every once in a blue moon. Margaret and the people I worked with were the only ones I actively kept in touch with. Now, it was just me and my boys against the world, it felt like.

As I continued to fiddle with the DVD player, trying to get it to work, I debated on whether or not I should text Margaret back. Maybe tell her I was skipping town. Just so she knows. Then again, I could just disappear all completely.

"Juuuuuuunnnneeeeee," he dragged out, "p-pay atten-tention to meeeeeee!"

I giggled as well, turning to press my lips to his for a second. "There, attention. Now shh for a second."

He let out a groan that turned into a whine as he dramatically fell back and to the floor. "I ju-just w-want looooove!"

"Always so dramatic, Tobes." I smacked the top of it and watched as my TV lit up in the opening credits of the movie. I let out a loud 'ah-hah!' and grinned. "Okay, now , we can cuddle!"

Toby threw himself up into a sitting position, a stupid grin on his uncovered face. He threw his arms around my shoulders and pulled me towards him, practically throwing us onto the ground. "C-c-cuddles!"

"No, wait, Toby, not on the ground!" He tightened his grip, making a noise of indignation. "Come on, let's move to the couch."

"You're gonna fuck up your back if you lay like that for too long, Toby," Brian chided as he stepped into the room, running a hand through his hair. I leaned my head back to look at him. Tim and him had taken a good minute, but I wasn't going to interrupt them.

"C-can't f-fff-feel it any-yways," he grumbled, "but f-fff-fine!" He released his grip, and I pulled myself off, laughing as he bounced up and towards the couch, practically skipping. I followed and let him pull me down into his hold, turning my gaze to the TV as The Lost Boys started.

"You and Tim have fun?" I jokingly questioned, not moving my eyes from the TV.

Brian snorted loudly and fell onto the recliner. "Always," he drawled out making me snicker to myself. Not expected but not unexpected either.

"Brian and I what?" Tim walked in, drying his hands on his pants. "Oh, come on, where's the space for me? You need more chairs, June."

The three of us laughed at that, and I kicked my feet. "Come on, loverboy," I teased. "We got movies to watch."

I could practically feel Tim roll his eyes. "Let me go grab snacks first because apparently no one thought of that."

"Wait, wait, wait," I called as I heard him slowly retreat to the kitchen. His steps faltered. "Come back! Come here!" I strained my neck trying to see him as he came over, giving him a lazy smile. "Come here."

"What?" he questioned, leaning over me the best he could considering Toby had swapped us around so he was covering almost all of me with his body.

"Kiss."

He huffed, a deep blush covering his face as if he hadn't seen me naked less than an hour ago. Still, he complied, pressing his lips to mine in a slow, quiet kiss. His lips formed a gentle smile as he did so, but he tried to cover it as he pulled away. "Getting snacks," he grumbled.

Toby giggled into my shoulder before wiggling around, changing his position so he was pressed into my chest instead of my neck. "Y-you're ver-very s-sss-soft," he mumbled, pushing his face as close as he could to me.

I pressed my hands into his hair, chuckling. "Thank you, babyboy."

He whined and nuzzled into me again before going still, cracking his knuckles as he did so. It was quiet for a few moments, just the movie playing, before I looked over to Brian again. He was slumped into the seat, comfortable. I took a second to admire him before he turned his gaze to me.

"Brian," I cooed. He just tilted his head down slightly before shaking his head. "Hoodie?" He nodded, and I grinned. "Oh, hello!" He broke out into a smug smile and waved before he turned back to the screen, gazing intently. He had probably never seen the movie before, but he looked to be enjoying it so far. I watched him for a few more moments before lifting my feet, making Toby lift his, too, as Tim came to sit down. He dropped off some chips and drinks to the table before settling down and pulling our legs down over his lap. One of his hands rested on my calf while the other held a cup of coffee.

I reached my hand out, straining myself to get the bag of doritos Tim had put a bit too far away, practically pulling myself and Toby off the couch in the process, but I was thankfully helped by my lord and savior Hoody who gently grabbed the bag of Doritos and held them out to me only to snort and pull them into his lap. I let out a loud gasp at the action, giving him a look that showed how offended I was. "Why I never ," I cried out, elongating my southern accent to a comical tone. "Young gentleman, if you don't hand me those right now ."

Hoodie quirked an eyebrow as if to say ' you'll do what?'

"Oh, ho, ho, buddy, if I wasn't being weighed down by another man right now-"

Tim gently smacked my calf. "Calm down, he won't hoard them for forever."

I continued to stare at Hoodie as he gave me a look that said 'don't test it.' I gave him a fake glare and threw myself towards him a bit, jumping in my seat. Toby yelled at the action and adjusted his hold so his arms were wrapped around my waist. He huffed lowly and turned his attention back to the movie. I placed my arms on Toby's back and neck as I squinted angrily at Hoodie. "You just wait, bucko," I mumbled before turning to the screen.

Toby moved one of his arms that was wrapped around me and extended it beneath me so his fingers could play with the chains on my collar. He made a noise of content and then sighed. If he could, he'd probably be purring right now. I let my hands slide through his hair as Tim's fingers slowly drew designs across my leg, his cup of coffee sitting precariously on the arm of the chair.

We all sat in the quiet for a bit, content to watch the movie. Tim made a few comments every now and then, but Toby's only one was that 'the-ey are v-vvv-very g-gay.' Every now and then I'd turn with a glare to see Hoodie with his hand in my bag of Doritos, but he would only look away or give me a smug look as he chomped down on one.

Toby began to get restless, though, as the movie began to come to an end, twisting and turning in my hold as he watched the vampires fly through the sky. I glanced down at him, but he wasn't looking at the screen, instead, focusing his attention on me, eyes wide and face soft. I twirled some of his hair and looked between him and the TV for a bit before settling on the TV, wanting to watch the end out. Toby didn't move for a bit more before he closed his eyes and pressed his face almost fully into my chest, angling so he could still breathe properly.

Tim scoffed at the movie as the end credits played, annoyance clear on his face. "That's bullshit. They should have won." He turned to me and threw his hand towards the screen. "This is a stupid movie."

"It's one of my favorites," I chided, "so you better watch what you say. I do agree, though, I always wanted them to win."

Toby wiggled in my hold and pulled away, slowly lifting himself up so he was sitting in my lap instead of laid across me. "I-I ha-ave a ques-sss-stion."

Tim stood, leaving the room to go get more coffee, most likely. "What is it, Tobes?" I asked, letting my hands rest on his thighs.

"D-do you re-remem-mmm-mber when we-e saw you in wa-almart w-with that m-mmm-makeup on?'' He let his hands drop and rest on my sides, leaning over me just slightly as he avoided eye contact.

I grinned. "Yeah, I remember. You liked it."

He blushed. "Ye-yeah. Uhm." He cleared his throat, his hands tightening a bit as he rolled his shoulders a few times. "I-I was won-wondering if-fff you'd do m-my makeup. No-ot like th-that, b-but-" He cut himself off and huffed, obviously thinking he wasn't able to get his thoughts across properly.

"Of course, I'll do your makeup, baby."

A bright grin stretched across his face faster than light, and he finally met my eyes again. "R-really?"

"Yeah, do you want to do it while we watch another movie?"

He nodded enthusiastically and threw himself off of me, moving to my movie collection. "I-I'm choosing ne-ext, though!"

I giggled and pulled myself up as well, trying to shake the sleepiness from my body. I looked over to Hoodie who was already looking as he slowly placed another chip into his mouth and crunched loudly. I narrowed my eyes and stood up, achingly slow. He laughed, and I threw myself at him, letting out a battle cry as I did. He was startled, a choked noise came from his throat and he threw his hands out to catch me at my hips before I slammed into him, holding me a few inches away from his face.

"Gimme them!" I reached for the bag, but his hand let go and shot over, grabbing the bag and holding it away. His other hand grabbed the back of my neck and pulled me to him, holding me now as he chuckled loudly. "Hoodie, come on," I cried out, desperately reaching for the bag. "Let me have them!"

He made a noise that sounded like 'uh-uh' and moved his hand to the small of my back, pulling me flush against him.

"Come on," I drawled out. "I'll do anything!" He raised an eyebrow, a devilish smirk on his face. "Well, maybe not anything , but-"

"Uh-uh."

I paused and relaxed in his hold, smiling as I felt his grip loosen. I sat back and stared at him for a second before diving forward and kissing him feverishly, laughing at the noise of shock he made. He leaned into my touch, pushing into me with as much enthusiasm as I was. In his excitement, he dropped the bag of chips onto the floor, pulling his hand over to hold my hip, his other crawling to my neck to keep me in place as he let his tongue slide into my mouth.

I giggled again and pulled away, relishing in the far-out look he gave me as I leaned over and plucked the chips off the group, hopping off his lap and prancing away. "Thank you!"

I could hear Toby's loud laugh as I moved to my room, grabbing all the makeup I thought I would need. I wasn't sure what all he wanted, so I grabbed a bit of everything, tossing it in a bag that I slung over my shoulder and brought it to the living room.

Tim had come back and settled in his seat, a bag of cheez-its in his lap and my phone in his hand. I knew he was most likely playing Candy Crush again like the old man that he was, but he was focused on watching Toby at the moment as the boy tried to get the movie he chose to play. I was about to ask him if he needed help when the screen for Addams Family popped up. Toby let out an excited screech and turned to see us watching him, immediately flushing under the attention.

I dropped my bag on the couch and flopped down beside Tim. "I didn't know you liked this movie," I spoke, grabbing the remote to hit play.

"O-one of the p-people we wo-ork with - her-rrr name's-sss-s J-Jane - sh-showed me it o-one night. I re-eally l-like it." He shuffled over and stared cautiously at my bag. "So, uh, ho-ow d-do you w-want to d-do it - like, do y-yyy-you want t-to be on t-top or?"

Tim choked on his coffee and turned to us with wide eyes. I cackled at his expression, having forgotten he was out of the room when Toby asked. "You okay there, buddy?"

Tim coughed again, covering his mouth with his fist. "What's happening?"

"Shhhh-she's doing my m-mmm-makeu-up," Toby beamed, jerking his head back.

"O-oh," Tim replied, clearing his throat. "Okay."

I snickered to myself and stood up, patting the couch. "Lay down, Tobes."

He jumped on the couch, wiggling his entire body excitedly, accidentally kicking Tim in the side. Tim smacked his leg making Toby yelp as if he could feel the pain. I turned and grabbed the small table, dragging it closer to the couch. Then, I set my bag on top and dumped the contents, humming along to the opening song of the movie.

Once I was done, I turned back to Toby. The boy had both of his hands on top of his stomach, his fingers twisting happily as his attention shifted between me and the movie. I took a slow breath before pulling myself onto the couch, straddling Toby's hips like he had done to me countless times.

Toby went red at the action, and his hands twisted some more before he slowly moved and pressed his hands to my thighs, looking to me to make sure it was okay. I ignored it and hummed. "Do you have any preference for what I do?"

"U-uhm, not re-eally. I j-just want t-to be pre-etty." He jerked his head back and clenched his hands.

I hummed thoughtfully and tapped my chin. "Well, I guess my job is done then considering you're already very, very pretty."

He giggled at that and shook his head. " J-June , come on!"

"I've got you. I've got you. Don't worry." I leaned over and picked up the concealer. I really wasn't sure where to start here, but my only thought was E-girl makeup, so it would probably end up somewhere there.

Toby relaxed completely into my hold as I pushed his face each way I needed, taking my time to dust pink eyeshadow on his lids and give him small but sharp eyeliner. I gave him blush and contour that matched his skin tone best, and we both fell into a fit of giggles as I put lipstick on him with my fingers. The worst part was putting on mascara because he kept fluttering his eyelashes unintentionally, and I was terrified of hitting his eye with it.

It had only taken me about thirty minutes to do it, but it was the longest I had seen Toby sit still without arguing. It was incredibly cute. After I was done with his lipstick, the last touch, I leaned down and kissed him, giggling as he fully grinned into it.

His eyes blinked open after being closed for most of the process, and he met my gaze, bouncing a bit as he did, making me move with him. "D-do I look pr-pre-eee-etty-yyy?" He dragged out.

"Always, but yes, definitely."

He wiggled again and tried to get out from underneath me. "I-I want to s-sss-see!" I rose onto my knees fully, letting him slip from underneath me and run to the bathroom. I giggled at his excitement and turned to Tim as Toby yelled from the bathroom. "I-I love it! O-Oh m-mmm-my god!" Tim smiled softly at my phone and looked over to me, seemingly surprised that I had already been looking in his direction.

"Do you want makeup, too, Tim?" I joked.

He snorted and rolled his eyes. "I'll pass, but thank you."

Toby ran back into the room, his footsteps louder than normal as he jumped in. "I-I look gre-reat! Th-thank you-uuu!"

"Of course, babyboy."

He jumped on the couch and swiftly pulled me down on top of him before I could protest. I let out a yell at the quick change in position but tried to get myself comfortable, throwing my legs back onto Tim's lap who took them without arguing.

"I thought we were watching The Lost Boys," Brian spoke up. The three of us all snapped our gaze to him. It was strange to hear his voice after two hours. He met our gaze back and glanced between the TV, our position, and Toby's makeup. "Wait..."

Toby and I both laughed as the realization crossed his face. "Welcome back, B!"

Brian threw his head back and groaned loudly. "I wanted to watch that movie, too."
