Lisa followed the man she first met in this world going to an unknown pathway in silence, she doesn't know where he's taking her but it's better than being alone.
In a few minutes of them walking she notices that they're going to slope up to a mountain that has a weird looking tower.
But as soon as they entered a very strict gatehouse she saw houses in a design she haven't seen before. In her 25 years of existence she had not seen a house full of glasses in a very odd concrete structure.
She's enormously curious how different the world she fell into. And as soon as they arrived at the top hill of their street she could see the whole city full of honking sounds and tall towers.
"This is our house" she turn her head to see Jungkook stopped at the open gate of a two storey white concrete that matches the whole village, it is looking a lot like a building than a house.
"Fascinating" she whispered to herself, looking at the height of their house, but it was nowhere near as grand as her mansion.
She heard a beeping sound coming from the front door where he was tapping his index finger in a rectangular box attached to the door knob. And after that, the door magically opened on its own even without turning the knob.
"How—is that a portal?" She was baffled while watching Jungkook open the door in full and what greeted them was a couple of handsome men in a bewildered reaction.
"What's wrong you two? he asked.
"We couldn't find you anywhere, so we rushed to go find you!" Taehyung said.
"Taehyung and I woke up early and prepared breakfast, only to find you out of your bedroom" Jimin said.
"I took a walk". they nodded as an answer and their eyes traveled to Lisa.
"Who is she?" Taehyung asked Jungkook, his eyes couldn't stop staring at her purple ones.
"Hello Ms, may I know who you are?" Jimin asked her, while both him and Taehyung bow their heads which made Lisa unconsciously bow her head as well.
"I-"
"Let's get inside first" Jungkook butt in before she could ever speak "We should at least give her a good breakfast before all the questioning right?" Jungkook gestures to her to come inside and asks her to take a seat at the breakfast table outside their terrace.
They prepared a set of food that made Lisa confused. How can spicy food like pork stew be made for breakfast? She knows the food but, they only eat it for lunch or winter days.
But she ate it otherwise, out of courtesy to the host of the house.
"So, can you tell me who she is now?" Taehyung asked Jungkook who's sipping his coffee.
"Uhm, her name is Lisa" "Lisa, this is Park Jimin, and Kim Taehyung" he introduces them "and she'll be living with us for a while" both of his hyungs choke from his words.
"What?!" they said in unison.
"Thank you for your hospitality" Jungkook creased his brows, he thought how on earth did she get very formal with his Hyungs but she couldn't with him. She even bow her head slightly.
Jimin and Taehyung felt weird looking at her purple jewel eyes, as if a real amethyst gem was stuck on her eyes. It looks so natural to her and her ash blonde hair complemented her beauty so much.
But as much as she is well mannered and a good person, she can't just live with them. It would only cause them problems, if anyone would catch her entering their house.
"uhm Lisa" Jimin caught Lisa's attention "I don't want to hurt your feelings, but we can't just let you stay here" he rejected, Jungkook smiled inwardly
"Can I know why?" she asked.
"You see we're celebrities, and if anyone sees you in and out of the house, they'll think one of us is dating you," Taehyung paused. "It will only cause trouble not only to us but also to you" he added.
"I understand," she said.
"You do?" the three boys said in unison.
"Yes, but I don't have anywhere to go in your world, and I don't know anyone here besides Mr. Jeon Jungkook," she explained.
"What are you talking about?" Taehyung got confused.
She took a sip of her tea and said "I am not from your world"
Taehyung and Jimin looked at each other with a wide eye from shock for a few seconds, Jungkook kept staring at the two until, his two hyung burst out of a laugh.
"Then where did you come from, mars?" Jimin asked while laughing.
Jungkook wanted to laugh too but he knew how dangerous the girl was, he just zipped his lips and stared at them trying so hard not to laugh while maintaining his composure.
Taehyung noticed the silent treatment the two were giving to them and so he slapped Jimin's shoulder to stop laughing.
"It's true" Jungkook said "She's not from here, she has magic" he said in serious tone.
"How am I supposed to believe that? magic doesn't exist" Taehyung said.
"Can you just make them shut up and just show it to them?" Jungkook told Lisa.
"What do you want me to do?" she asks the two.
"uhm I don't know, make it snow I guess?" "Change this weather" Taehyung smiled at her.
"Very well then" Lisa granted their wish, and without a snap or a spell to cast, a glowing purple magic circle formed beneath their table that made the three wide their eyes and froze on the spot. And little by little a small drop of snow touched their skin, and the temperature became cold.
"Not satisfied enough?" she looked at them "I can submerge the whole city in blizzard" she suggested.
"No no no no" Jimin shook his hand in disagreement "This is enough, we believe you now, make it stop" they started to panic.
Lisa broke the magic circle with a single snap of her fingers, the icy cold temperature is warmer, and the snow is nowhere to be seen.
"Good, I made your drinks hot again too" she said before sipping her tea. They all look at their mugs and confirm that it is hotter than their last sip.
"If you worry about trouble do not fret, I can fight" she said. "Just tell me and I'll deal with them"
"It's not actually a fight of strength," Jimin started. "It was something about an issue and a threat to our fame," he said.
"Don't underestimate my power" Jimin was about to say something again but Taehyung stopped him.
"Don't argue anymore Jimin" Taehyung said "Well then welcome to our house Lisa" He's afraid that she'll do something dangerous if they rejected her more.
"Thank you" she smiled at them "All of you are very kind"
"So how did you end up here in our world?" Taehyung asked.
"I ask that myself too" she said "I have no clue why I ended up in your world" "I just followed the light and the last thing I knew was I am falling"
"You fell from the sky?!" Jimin almost shouted.
"I guess so" she said. "But I could only hope Vita purposely put me in this world, and not the other way around" she hoped.
"Vita? Who is that? Your master?" Jungkook asked.
"Similar, but She wasn't mortal" "She is The Goddess who saved our world, She is the reason of my existence, She is our Salvation" she smiled so widely.
"You mean a God? Like God?" "You can talk to a God?" Jimin asked, still amazed with the whole thing.
"Her Holiness hasn't blessed me with her presence but they say Iremia — like me, can hear her voice or even see her personally" she said, and saw how confused their reactions are.
"You three didn't have to understand, it's not like you have to" she gave them a small smile.
Taehyung presented himself to roam Lisa around their huge house and welcomed her to her own room- slash-the plain guest room that no one ever used before.
Taehyung panicked that he presented her the untidy place full of furniture covered in white blanket, he apologized to her multiple times telling her that he will get it ready for her while getting the bed sheets and blanket on the cabinet but Lisa fixed it herself, telling him it's okay.
The boys surprised her after a day living with them with a set of clothes and undergarments they asked their staff to buy it for her. She refused to wear it before because she felt under dressed in a shirt and pants but she had no choice but to change her clothes or she would keep on reusing her nightgown.
"It has already been two weeks in this unknown world, but I still couldn't find a way out of this place. During the days that I spent here, I discovered that everyone here have low mana like "hiuma"— common people in our world."
"Instead of magic they used innovations such as machineries that I somewhat called before as a magical creature. They invented what they called technologies, they can communicate with a small glassy rectangular object that can only be powered by electricity, everything around here seems to be powered by electricity that came from nature"
" Back in Abelia, our kingdom was all about magic, we used it as a means of teleportation, livelihood, means of warmth, lights, and even the power to be protected. It was a simple life but here it was like everything revolves in the means of innovation, authority, and technology."
"I've been wandering from place to place, searching for answers as to why the Goddess summoned me into this world and while doing so I discovered that in this world, their mana is so weak that it is equivalent to nothing at all."
"Everyone has mana inside them, an ordinary person in Elgonia can have a small amount of mana that can only be used for lifting small objects, or can at least Teleport in a limited distance, but there are others who are trained for the purpose of their occupation. And there are those talented people born from having mana strong enough for them to become a mage or a knight..."
Lisa sighed as she stopped writing her own investigation about this world and went to their bookshelves and succumbed herself to reading the history book of Korean war and World war in the spacious living space.
She read that this land used to have royals before as war took over the world. Soon after the whole Korea became conflicted into one another and brought chaos that led into war and made them divided into two countries. The north and south.
This place has been messed up for good for hundreds or maybe thousands of years. It has been a place full of misery just like Elgonia. Until peace is resolved all of a sudden all of the country becomes quiet, and people start to live in peace until to this day that the whole world is said to be united.
"Such history, I never thought this place was once a savage place" that made them look at her while they were watching in a projector-gem-like machine that they called television.
"What are you reading?" Jungkook asked her.
"It's your history" she showed him the book that she was reading, he then made a sour face.
"Why are you reading that, but I'm glad though that you easily adapted here" he paused as if he realized something.
"H-How are you able to speak and understand our language?" "How are we able to understand you?" he asked.
"I used a spell to understand you at first but I'm a quick study, I was able to understand you and speak your language now even without it" She told him.
"Y-You used a spell on me? On us?" she nodded,
"It won't kill me right?" She shook her head, and Jungkook made a big heave.
"So did you find anything?" she stared at him with sad eyes.
"I guess you haven't found any, by looking at you" She was glad Jungkook is getting more comfortable talking to her now that she's been living for a couple of weeks.
"Maybe the Goddess told you to have a vacation!" a happy Taehyung interrupted, he earned a loud slap on his head after that, they do that quite a lot that Lisa is starting to be immune.
"Stupid, why would a Goddess say that" Jimin said.
"I mean she defeated the demon, and she saved her world from that, isn't a good reason to give her a vacation?" said Taehyung while holding his head.
She told them.
Day by day as she made her comfortable in their house she slowly becoming more of a talkative person that she never knew she would, especially since they are all men and a stranger at that.
"Vita wouldn't give such a thing" "I watched this series on Netflix about gods giving missions to their demigods before.. but who would give your sword a mission to relax in another world without a word? Stupid" Jimin told him.
Lisa looked at him, "Prophecy...." She uttered, like a bulb turned on her head. "Of course"
"Prophecy?" All of them repeated and watched her stand up from her seat and look up in the sky.
Lisa glowed in magnificent purple light, she closed her eyes, interlocked her fingers, and pray;
"Vita, The Goddess of Elgonia, The Sister of Sena, and The Mother of Iremia" "I am Athi, your blessed daughter by your light, I fell on the land of earth with no purpose and couldn't find my way back home"
"I plead for you to give me a sign as to why I am here, I plead with you to give me a sign of purpose in this world" she tried so hard to talk to her but she never heard a single voice in her head.
She wasn't getting any of it, and her prayer failed to reach the gates of heaven.
It has been a week and she's becoming less and less hopeful that she couldn't still go back to her world. She wanted to go back so badly, she still needs to fulfill her duty, she still wants to serve their people, Chaeyoung is probably searching for her everywhere and probably crying right now, and she still needs to prove her worthiness as a sword and protector of Abelia.
"Hey" Jungkook appeared in front of her after her glowing circles and faded and lean closer enough to look at her face clearly "The Goddess is probably sleeping, it's already past 10pm" "But I'm sure she has a reason why you are here, don't be so dejected" he smiled at her.
Lisa watched him smile so widely while his palm landed on top of her head and his elbow on her shoulder.
"As you said, you are her daughter" "No mother would ever leave her child in an unknown place" "Especially to a precious person like you" he said.
She couldn't believe a man would ever lay his hand casually on her like this, and to make it more unbelievable she wasn't refusing his touch.
She wasn't in Elgonia to begin with, he wasn't breaking any rules. She wasn't a duchess here and He wasn't rude nor a perverted nobleman.
He, instead, is a gentleman, kind, pure, good looking, and a caring person. He extended his hands for her in this land. He gave her a luxurious and cozy shelter, can eat whatever she wants order whatever she wants, a comfortable clothes and different kinds of make ups, a free will to roam around and go back to their house whenever she likes, and even gave her a black card that they say she can buy anything that the world can offer.
She was lucky she found him.
She couldn't be more grateful.
"I guess I have to say sorry" she said. "I'm sorry Jungkook"
"Whatever for?" He asked, moving a little further away.
"That I glared at you, I almost killed you with my power" she bit her lips unconsciously.
"Well it's my mistake to call you a witch" "To think you're a daughter of a Goddess, I would be mad too" Lisa saw how his smile grew into a laugh and his bunny teeth is showing for her to mesmerize.
"So don't worry, Vita is probably searching for you now" he added.
There's something about his laugh that's so contagious she can feel a warm feeling inside of her. She couldn't believe she would ever show her smile and even giggled at his words.
"Well I guess.." she paused
"I guess Her Holiness is having her vacation too" she said, before both of them burst out laughing.
