The car ride was silent, Asami can only hear the low singing voice from the radio. "I'm sorry" she heard the driver say with a sigh. "I didn't mean what I said in the locker room"
"You were right though" Asami said not looking towards the driver but out the window "I should be the one saying sorry, I'm just confused and it's making you confused and all I'm doing is fucking up this friendship" Asami leaned her head back onto the head rest. "I'm sorry Korra"
The car fell silent again as they stopped at a red light, Korra looked over to the passenger who stared out the window full of thoughts. "Listen" Asami started "I do like you, like a lot, but I feel like you push me away so I always end up back to Kuvira" She admitted. Korra found herself stuck staring at the beauty. This is what she wanted but she can't have it, her father wouldn't let it happen.
A car horn honked at Korra making her wake up into reality and continued driving. "Hey Korra?" Asami now looked over to the driver "can you take me somewhere, where we can be alone" she sighed "I can use a break from the world"
"Yeah, me too"

Zaheer was busy looking over the blue print from the last heist. He got started building it but didn't really understood it, so he planned on making Korra finish it when she got back form school since she got into engineering, hints her rebuilding a car. His phone rang, "hello?" He spoke into the phone, the person on the other side of the phone told him about his daughter being expelled. "Great" he whispered to himself as he hung up the phone. He got up and left
"What's going on?" P'li asked as she notice a somewhat annoyed husband as she was doing the dishes
"Well Korra got expelled, she got in another fight" he sighed
"So what now?" Ming-Hua asked
"Well, Korra's trial is today, after we get out of there we seriously need to start taking this Avatar state more seriously" Zaheer said
"Do you think she'll lose the case?" P'Li asked
"She won't" the father figure said
"And if she does?" Ghazan crossed his arms making the man think "she'll go to jail for holding drugs and 'under age drinking'"
"Stop thinking so negatively" Ming-hua said "look after she won the case I think you need to talk to the school and get her back in. The way I see it is if she's not in school and has this case in her name do you know how that would look on her"
"Her image doesn't matter, we only need her for something so simple" Ghazan said
"But we have to act like it does matter, make it seem like we care, to manipulate Korra" Ming-hua said
"I don't get it" the long haired male said with a confused face
"Listen dumbass, Korra sees us as family, the moment we show interest only in her power and nothing else she'll leave." Ming-hua said hoping he understood

Korra and Asami sat on the roof of the car as they viewed the city from a cliff. "I came here a lot with Naga" Korra said with a smile as the city never left her sight. "This is where I got away from everyone" she then looked at Asami who was already staring at her "It's much more beautiful at night though" Korra said with a chuckle and a side grin
"I never really got out much, mainly my dad's fault" Asami sighed.
"Hey Asami?" Korra looked away "why didn't you tell me?"
"Tell you what?"
"Nothing never mind" Korra couldn't bring herself to say anything.
"Oh come on Korra, if you tell me I'll get you an Oreo flavored... whatever the hell you want" Asami tried negotiating making Korra chuckle lightly but still didn't want to say anything. "How about we stay silent and enjoy the view" Korra suggested
"Ugh you're lame" Asami rolled her eyes but rested her head on Korra's shoulder. "Oh the librarian asked me to give this to you" she said taking the book out of her bag.
Korra took it, 'this holds my culture history', she thought. She opened the first page seeing the southern water tribe symbol and grazing her hand over it. "You're originally from the southern water tribe" Asami whispered not leaving Korra's shoulder "you should tell me your story one day like how you ended up here in the city"
"Y-yeah"
—Korra's Pov—
There's so much I want to tell her and yet there's so much I want to ask. I want to tell her everything, but I don't know how she would take it. I want to tell her I'm the Avatar... tell her that I'm this criminal she named Blue and I know everything about her father. It's a risk and I can lose her for this.
"Asami there's something I have to tell you... I-" the words can't leave my mouth, it's stuck in my throat.
"Yes?" She said in her soft gentle voice as her head left the warmth of my shoulder. Her green eyes covered my sight.
I have to say something! Jeez why can't i say anything?!
"I know about yo-" my phone ringing cut me off, you gotta be kidding me. "Sorry" I apologized and answered my phone "hello?"
"Where are you?! You're gonna be late!" I heard my father's voice shouting on the other side
"What are you talking abou-" shit my trial is today
"Hurry up"
"I'm on my way" I said hanging up
"What's going on?" I heard Asami say next to me
"We have to go, I have my trial today" I explained "I'll drop you off hom-" I can't take her home to her father! What am I going to do with her, and I can't take her with because she was in the back seat of that car! They probably going to show pictures of the car.
"Home?" She said acting like she was finishing my sentence with a chuckle
"Unless you want me to take you somewhere else" I offered hoping she'll take it
"Yeah, you think you can take me to Opal's place, I promised that I would help her with her math homework"
Thank spirits... wait, Kuvira's going to be there
"What's with the face?" She woke me from a daze
"What face?"
"That face" she pointed at me "you look annoyed, or jealous" she smirked
"I'm not!" I blushed as I pushed her finger away from my face
"Yeah okay" she smirked as she got on the roof of my car and landed on the ground
I followed her lead and opened the passenger door for her.
"Such a gentleman" she said as she messed with my short hair making me blush.
I went to my side and as I got in the driver's seat I got a text from Jess
Jen: "I closed up the gym early, I'll meet you in the court house:)"
I smiled and put my phone back in my pocket.
As I drove Asami to Opal's place I couldn't help but think about Jenny and Asami. Now I see what it's like for Asami, liking both me and Kuvira. But there's a difference, I like Jenny because she's been there for me since the beginning and knows how to make me happy when I'm down, then I like Asami because...why do I like Asami?
As I thought that I looked over to her once I hit a red light. She stared out my window with the sun hitting her eyes perfectly giving me the opportunity to see the specks of gold in her green eyes. She caught me staring and gave me a small smile. She said something but I didn't hear it
"Green" she said making me confused
"Huh?" I questioned not looking away from her
"The light" she pointed in front of us "it's green" she said making me look at the light that was once red and now it's green.
"Oh" I chuckled and started driving as I felt a light blush hit my cheeks.
Asami likes Kuvira because Kuvira is changing herself to Asami's liking where as I am being my dumb self but I have lots of secrets and there's one that can have her hate me forever, I know who killed her mother. I wish I didn't.
"So what's your plan now?" She asked me
"What you mean?"
"Hello? You're expelled"
I forgot about that "oh umm nothing, my dad's probably going to try and get me into another school" I shrugged.
"What?!" She was surprised
"What?"
"You're not going to try and get back into the school?" She asked "come on you have to try, please." She gave me her puppy dog eyes "you promised you were going on that trip with me"
"What? I promised no such thing"
"Korra" she whined
"Ok ok, I'll see if my dad would talk to the school" I said but I doubt that would work.
I pulled up in front of Opal's house seeing the one and only Kuvira sitting on the steps along with her sister. Figures.
Asami was about to reach for the door but I grabbed her arm making her look at me "come on turbo, you know the rules when you're with me" I said making her roll her eyes. I got out and made my way around the car to Asami's door, I could feel the earth bender staring at me as I opened the door for Asami.
"Thanks I guess" Asami said as she got out the car. "Let me know how the case goes" she told me. There was something in her eyes that made me not want to look away. "Also" she said "stop calling me Turbo"
I chuckled and gave her a innocent smile as I closed my car door "no"
—end of Pov—
Korra left Opal's and went on her way back home.
"Why were you with Korra?" Kuvira asked as Asami made her way up the stairs
"Shut up Kuvira, you're not her actual girlfriend to be questioning who she's with" Opal said standing up and taking Asami's hand and dragging her inside the house leaving Kuvira on her own.
"So what we're you doing with Korra?" Opal asked with an innocent smile making Asami roll her eyes with a chuckle
"Nothing she just gave me a ride" the pale girl shrugged.
"Mm" Opal crossed her arms "whatever helps you sleep at night"
"Yo Opal" her twin brothers came running in "are you coming with?" Wei asked then noticed Asami "your friend can tag along too"
"Oh it's today" Opal smacked her forehead
"What's today?" Asami asked
"My grandmother has to go to court because of a last minute trial thingy" Opal said only seeing Asami's confused face "my grandmother is the chief of police and one of her officers is in question because of a girl they tried to arrest, apparently she was assaulted by them"
"Yeah and that starts in an hour so start getting ready if you're going" Wing said
—court house—
"Where's Korra?" The worried mother started looking around only to have a strong hand hold hers
"She'll be here soon" Zaheer said has he looked at his phone "she texted me telling me she just left the house"
"I hope she likes what I laid on her bed" P'Li smiled "you think she wore it?"
"If it was a dress... no" Zaheer let out a soft chuckle
"Hey I know my daughter very well, thank you very much" she crossed her arms
"Hey sorry I'm late" Korra came in panting after she ran up the stone stairs to get into the building. She wore a white button up with navy blue dress pants and a matching unbuttoned navy blue blazer.
"You look so good" the mother figure smiled as she fixed Korra's collar since it was a bit crooked.
"Thanks" Korra smiled
Zaheer reached for Korra's shoulder "Ready to get this over wi-" Zaheer's question was cut off when Korra felt his hand on her making her grab the arm tight with a look on her face
Her eyes widen when she realized what she did "I'm sorry" she quickly released his arm and looked away.
"Korra? Is everything ok?" He asked as he tried to look for her eyes "you've being jumpy lately"
"Ye-yeah I'm fine, just nervous" she chuckled
