Slight angst maybe?
The most of my birthday I spent sleeping, which isn't a surprise because that's what I usually do.
But now we have been driving for yet another day, and I don't think I can handle not knowing where I am being taken much longer.
I don't think I'll have to though.
"Alright, we're almost where we can start leaving but we need to make one stop." Wilbur said, looking up from his phone.
"Start leaving?" I blurted. "Have we not started leaving yet?"
"No, Ip's right." The English child agreed.
"That nickname is still so confusing."
"I like it. It's cute." Nephitie stated.
"Yeah, well you also think I like Juniper, so..."
"Pardon-" I coughed. What did he just say?
At this point, Nephie was already laughing, and so was Wilbur and Niki.
"Sh*t."
"Well speaking of sh*t," Wilbur snickered, "I need to do so. And gladly, there's a gas station up the road. Does anybody else need to go?"
"That was so strange, but no thanks." I cackled.
"I do!" Nephie and Tommy exclaimed at the same time.
"I'll stay in the car with Juniper then." Niki smiled.
After about 30 seconds, Tommy, Wil, and Nephie got out of the car leaving me and Niki.
"Are you sure you don't like Tommy?"
What the f*ck.
"Niki," I breathed, "I do not like Tommy."
"Alright, just checking, just checking." She teased. "But... if you ever change your mind, I'm here to talk."
I grumbled, and then got my airpods out to play some music. "Thanks Niki."
She nodded, and I went to my spotify playlist.
I scrolled through my playlists. I didn't really feel like listening to music right now, but I needed a way to escape.
I liked him. He was my best friend.
What happened to him?
What did I do?
Nothing. You did nothing.
It's all his fault.
Did I do something?
No.
Then why the f*ck is he like this?
Somethings messed up in his brain or something.
He would've told me if something was wrong.
But he didn't.
Exactly, so what happened?
It happened so quickly. He's just a stranger now. A stranger of past. A stranger in the body of someone I once knew. A stranger who I know do not care for.
Yet I spend all this time thinking about him. For what? To forgive him? There's no forgiving needed.
I took the headphones out of my ears. "Talk to me, Niki."
"Oh- okay!" She paused for a moment. "What's your favorite flower?"
"I think I've mentioned this before..." I stated. "Tulip."
"Oh Tulip..."
"Answer me Tulip."
"And why?" She smiled, adding on to the question.
"Tulip, love, look at me."
I breathed. "It means love. The flower."
"Aw, that's cute."
"Mmhm..." I softly mumbled. I took a deep breath, cold air filling my lungs.
"I got you a Peace Tea, Ip." Tommy shouted proudly as he opened the car door.
"Ooh," I beamed, happy to get distracted again. "what flavor?" I looked at him, but his hands were held behind his back.
"Drumroll, please!" He insisted. At first I rolled my eyes in response, but after he just stared at me waiting I made a drumroll, hitting the side of the cupholder.
He crawled into the car, and cleared his throat. "Three... two..."
"One! Hurry up, I'm thirsty."
"Thirsty for deez nu-" Nephie wheezed, but before he could finish Niki covered their mouth with her hand.
"Ur mum!" Tommy revealed the can, showing the clearly Razzleberry flavor because of it's color, but over the flavor lable had a piece of paper.
And of course, he didn't lie. "Big man Tommy is never wrong."
The paper said 'Ur mum' on it.
"I'm so sorry, he stole my pen from my pocket." Wilbur opened the passenger seat car door and explained. "He wrote it before I could stop him."
"I should've known not to trust you with a child ever since you gave two of them v-"
"-Anyways," he cut me off, "we have like one more mile left to go."
"Not really." Niki murmured.
"You know what I mean, Nikichu."
"I will kill you Wilbur." She boasted, making him laugh.
"You wouldn't dare." He taunted.

My attention was drawn from the front of the car to the back where I was sitting.
"They didn't even tell me where we are going. They're just childaphobic, I swear." Tommy scoffed, making me smile.
"Did you just admit that you're a child? Oh my gosh, this is legendary... I have to tell Cate."
"Not gonna lie, I thought another cute moment was going to happen so I started recording but- this is just as good. As of recording, I caught him on camera!" Nephie grinned proudly. I brought my hand up, and we gave each other highfives.
"Nice one, Nephitie." I smirked.
"F*ck you. Both of you. I hate you guys. I am not a child."
"Tom, you're 17."
"And so are you! And I think you a very big woman."
"That's-" I thought for a moment, "wow, I don't know what to say to that. I'm astonished to say the least."
"Are you not going to say it back?" He complained.
"Oh, my bad. I think you are a very big woman too, Tom."
I tried my hardest not to burst out laughing, but I broke when Nephie started wheezing.
"THAT WASN'T EVEN THAT FUNNY!" Tommy boasted.
I never noticed that the car had stopped until the door had opened.
I looked out the window while unbuckling (still slightly laughing) and saw someone in a navy blue hoodie.
"Hello Wilbur! Hi Niki!" A boy's voice cheered.
Is that...?
"Tubbo?" Tommy queered.
