Mariah POV
I pulled away slowly, and I noticed Ray's eyes were still closed. I smiled sweetly. He opened his eyes.
"Mariah" he whispered
"Yes" I asked
"Thank you" he said
"Huh? Thanks for what" I asked
"For showing me what I need is right in front of me."Ray said smiling
"Your welcome" I said smiling wide
"Yo Ray you with that ugly ho3!" I heard Jacob L. yell
My eyes began to tear up. Ray seemed to notice.
"Your beautiful just ignore that douche" He said
"Come on" He said getting up
"To where" I asked standing up
"Were ditching let's go"
"Alright we outcheaa" I said
Hand in hand , we ran through the doors, not having a care in the world.
Ray POV
"What's yo real name and not your stripper name, I make it rain on ya like a window pane." I sang
"Boy what you know about bands" Mariah said laughing
"I know I can make you dance for them" I said as I rolled my tongue across my lips
"Eww" Mariah said
We both started laughing.
"Oh my gosh" Mariah yelled out.
"Huh?" I asked
"Boy let's hit up the mall" Mariah said.
"Ok leggo, I'm hungry anyway."
Mariah POV
I know exactly what I'm gonna do once we get to the mall. I'm gonna do what I've been planing to do for a long time. Get a makeover.
"Ray once we get to the mall, could you find a place to hang out for a few hours." I asked with pleading eyes
"Few hours" girl what you plan on doing" Ray said in a ghetto voice
I laughed "Nothing" I said
"Ok Mariah whatever you say" Ray said
We made it up to the mall entrance. It was awesome how the mall was right near our school.
We parted separate ways. Get ready to see a whole new Mariah.
Ray POV
I wonder why Mariah wants me away from her? Does my breath stink? Nah lemme stop. Its gotta be something else. I thought to myself.
Mariah POV
I walked into New You Hair Salon and spotted my cousin, Alissa over by the sink.
"Hey Alissa" I said as I walked over to her
"Mariah?" She asked
"Yeah,it's me" I said looking down
"Girl, hold your head up high cause we got some major work to do." Alissa said
I smiled
"By the time you get out of here you gonna be sexy as hell." She said
We both laughed and she lead me to an empty chair. I sat down.
"Alright now what we gonna do with this" Alissa said tugging on my afro
"I don't know just surprise me." I said
"Ok now, just close your eyes and it'll be over before you know it." She said
"Ok" I said while closing my eyes.
Few Hours Later...
"Mariah open your eyes now"Alissa said
By the sound of her voice I could tell she was smiling. I opened my eyes, I could barely speak. My mouth was hanging open.
"Alissa I look...I look..."
"Sexy, sexy and even more sexy" Alissa said smiling wide.
I laughed, I really did look sexy, all of my acne pimples were gone Alissa gave me a facial and it really worked.
Turns out my hair had major shrinkage, so she washed it, blew it out and straightened it out. My hair was super long! Got me over here looking like Kim K. And she waxed my eyebrows it hurt like hell, but in the end it was all worth it. They were arched perfectly. I had on some light blue eye shadow and I didn't need any mascara my eyelashes were long enough.
Overall I looked like a total different person. And that was a good thing. I stood up and hugged Alissa.
"Thank you so much, how much do I owe you" I asked
"Nothing cuzz it's on the house" Alissa said
I turned around to the mirror again. I really did look good.
"Well I guess I'll be going now." I said
"Oh hell no your not, no cousin of mine is going out there looking like that" She said
'"Looking like what" I said eyeing myself in the mirror
"Your clothes," Alissa said
"What----
I got cut off Alissa pulled me into the staff room. She turned on the light, I gasped it was so many clothes, accessories it looked like a whole entire Forever 21.
"Now get changed" Alissa said while throwing me a pair of baby blue faded skinny jeans, black pumps, and a red tube top.
"What's this" I said
"Clothes now go and change" Alissa said
10 minutes later...
I came out of the bathroom, stumbling in the heels.
"Look at you stuntin Mariah" Alissa said smiling
"Stuntin?" I asked
"Stuntin what? look at my flat figure" I said observing my body in the mirror.
"Girl don't get me started, stop and really look deep into the mirror" Alissa said
" I have no curves or shape at all" I said as I hung my head down
" Look at you fine pair of oranges (boobs) (no homo) they are so perfect." Alissa said laughing
I looked in the mirror. Hell she ain't never lied.
"And turn around look at your round little cake its perfect" Alissa said
I turned around and peeped my cake hey she's right.
"Thanks so much Alissa" I said as I hugged her
"You gotta go?' She asked "Yeah, see ya"
I walked out of the hair salon satisfied with the new me. I wonder what Ray will think?
Ray POV
I've been walking around the mall for like 5 hours. Where is Mariah?
"Ray" I heard a voice call
I recognized it... it's Mariah. I turned around but I didn't see her.
"Mariah" I called
"I'm right here Ray" a girl said
"Uh I don't know you" I said
"Ray it's me Mariah" she said
I can't believe this, this is actually Mariah.
"Mariah?"
"Yeah, I got a makeover"
"You like? she said turning around giving me a full 360.
"Damn" I mumbled
"I love it" I said
She wrapped her arms around my neck and I wrapped my arms around her waist. And I looked her deep into her eyes.They were dark brown with specks of purple, they were beautiful. This looks like the start of something new. Our lips touched and moved together in sync.
