Days went by swiftly and it's been half a month since Huang Zhangwei's gone.
Xu Liang would be lying if he said he doesn't feel lonely with Huang Zhangwei not around. Especially when most of his time was spent together with Huang Zhangwei.
Xiao Ru would sometimes found Xu Liang stare blankly on the garden pavilion with his already-cold tea and unbitten snacks. And with someone annoying, he couldn't offer Xu Liang to go out and have some little fun on the street market.
Xu Liang had gotten used by Yingzi's presence by now but Xiao Ru still couldn't get used to Yingzi and would sometimes glare at Yingzi like his territory was invaded.
Yingzi didn't mind. He continued to silently and keenly observe every movement in the surrounding yet he couldn't help but be bored sometimes as this YuanJun Wang Fei would either go to the east courtyard or the garden pavilion.
But today, Xu Liang has other plans in mind breaking off his boring usual routine. After eating half of his meal, Xu Liang then lead Xiao Ru and Yingzi to the barn without any delay surprising the servants on the barn from his sudden appearance.
After dismissing the other servants on the barn, Xu Liang then looked for the off-white horse on the furthermost part of the barn.
"Xiao Bai!!!!" Xu Liang gleefully greeted and gave Xiao Bai a hug as soon as an off-white horse was visible to his eyes
"I miss you Xiao Bai, I'm sorry for not visiting you lately. I bet you also got lonely with Xiao Hei not around" Xu Liang then said as he petted Xiao Bai's head gently.
"With Xiao Hei not around... you have no one to argue with hahaha" Xu Liang muttered to himself letting out with a hollow laugh, like he wasn't talking about Xiao Hei and Xiao Bai but He and Huang Zhangwei instead. Xu Liang then buried himself to Xiao Bai's neck.
With a strong instincts of animals by nature, Xiao Bai felt that Xu Liang was in low-spirit so it cleverly move it's head on the side where Xu Liang's head rested like it was comforting Xu Liang.
Xiao Ru was worried yet at the same time was helpless while looking at his wang fei's actions. He dragged Yangzi out of his will out from the barn and wait outside to give Xu Liang a moment along with his favorite horse.
Xu Liang spent the rest of his day roaming around with Xiao Bai which made him tired and retire to bed early than usual.
With the moon hanging in the lonely sky that shone brightly like diamond flame, a shadow cast nearly filled the door gently move his way in.
Saw the person in bed sleeping soundly, he couldn't help but let out a muffled laugh and delicately touch the cheeks of the person sleeping with his slightly callused hands.
Xu Liang felt something on his face and subconsciously moved on the other side to avoid disturbance. A space was created after Xu Liang moved and the shadow who was silently watching the person in bed, tempted to get into the bed.
After the outer robes was removed, the shadow person tuck himself on the bed and fill the space, hugging the other person softly as he sniffed the sandalwood scent emitting of the person he was hugging before closing his eyes.
