When i got home, i couldn't stop myself from thinking about what Peter told me
How can he be in love with me? I have known him all my life but he has never shown any sign of deep love for me.... Sure we dated but i didn't know that this was the extent of his love for me....
I know i once had a crush on him and we ended up dating for a while, but it was only a crush and nothing more
The worst case scenario is that i broke him by not loving him back
How was i meant to know when he never showed the much affection
I guess now he is a little too late because my heart is set on someone else and he just has to deal with it
"Emily, you have a visitor" My brother yelled from downstairs
"Send 'em in" I yelled back and in the process packing the books i brought out to read but couldn't because i was too lost in thought
Before i could place the books back on my bookshelf, a knock came to my door
"Come in" I said politely
"Hey Endy" I said smiling deviously as Ender entered my room
"Don't call me that" He said sluggishly as he sat on my study chair
"What's up? Aren't you meant to be with Bella" I said sitting on the edge of my bed... Opposite him
"Yeah, but i just came to tell you something" He said scratching the back of his head nervously... Oh
ENDER'S P.O.V
This is it
This is the time i get to tell Emily that I'm in love with her and hopefully she won't reject me
"OK? I'm listening" She said looking confused as to what i would like to talk to her about
"Well..." I am now fully nervous and she just raised an eyebrow at me
"Well?" She asked
"You know it has been a month since we knew each other" I said still feeling nervous
'Come on Ender you can do this' I mentally encouraged myself
"Yeah i know" She said following my every word
"OK, I'm just gonna come up straight" I said slapping my two hands together
"You have my attention" She said crossing her hands, obviously getting tired
"Here goes nothing" I said under my breath and closing my eyes
"Emily i have always loved you since the first day we met, i didn't know how to tell you but i tried showing you that was why earlier today when you and Peter were talking about going to prom together i kind of felt betrayed but i later realized that i haven't told you how i really felt about you... So, would you be my date to the prom?" I said before opening my eyes and before me Emily was frozen like she was in shock
"Wait, what?" She said after some while
"I knew it was a stupid idea to tell you, i get it if you don't feel the same way and i can accept your rejection but i just thought that since we were mates you would feel the same" i said feeling defeated , but Emily just staired at me without saying anything
Wow does she hate me that much?
"I'll be on my way now" I said standing up and getting ready to go
"Ender wait" I heard Emily say immediately i turned.... Facing away from her
"I seriously get it if you don't love me back" I said still facing away from her
"Just look at me" I heard her say
Turning to face her, i did not expect the reaction i got
She crushed her lips on mine kissing me softly but with so much passion
I found myself melting in her embrace and savouring every moment
When she finally broke the kiss, i yearned to feel her lips on mine again
"I love you too Ender, i really do" She said smiling
"Really?" I asked her and she just nodded before crushing her lips back on mine
EMILY'S P.O.V
After we kissed for some while, Ender finally broke the kiss saying he had to go and he could not stop smiling which also made me smile
Who would believe that a whole Ender Edwards is my mate and he loves me Emily Vanderwoods?

NEXT DAY
Waking up this morning and seeing the sun shinning directly into my room, made me smile
I still couldn't believe Ender was mine now, all mine
Saturday mornings are usually the time when we usually have a big breakfast, courtesy of James, Anna and I
But now that dad's not around, it means enough food for everyone and probably i could invite Ender over for breakfast
I mean now i can prove to everyone that says he is a scary monster... wrong
Picking up my phone from the night stand, i dialed Ender's number which i had because we were Chemistry partners, incase if we need to keep in touch
"Hey" He said picking after the first ring
"Hey" i responded
"Would you mind coming for breakfast today?" I asked praying he accepts
"Would Peter be there?" He asked and i can imagine him raising his eyebrow
"Yeah, he is always here for breakfast" I said causing him to chuckle
"Alright, I'll be there" He said before the call disconnected
My mom would freak, Peter would probably be jealous and my brother would keep an eye on us throughout breakfast... Generally, Anna won't be bothered since she does not know Ender
Heading downstairs, i saw my brother already making pie and by the smell of it, i can tell it is banana pie
"Took you long enough" He said when he set his eyes on me
"Someone's happy" He said..... Only then did i realize that i was smiling widely
"Where's Anna?" I asked ignoring his comment
"In the room" He said still mixing the pie ingredients
"Why?" I asked raising an eyebrow
"Its one of those times of the month" He replied shrugging
"Oh" Was all i could mutter
I have never experienced a period before, so i don't know how it feels like
But i thank the moon goddess that we Vampires don't get period because Anna gets weird cravings during her period and sometimes she cries for hours clutching her stomach
Once we were done with breakfast, i heard the doorbell ring so i went to answer it while my brother went to call my mom and Anna
"Hey Peter" i said opening the door wide enough for him to enter
"Hey beautiful" He said taking my hands and then kissing the back of my hand
OK?
"Come on in" I said as Peter made his way inside but he just kept holding my hand
We made our way to the dining area where everyone were already seated and ready to eat
Looking at the time on my phone, i began to doubt if Ender was ever going to come
"You expecting someone" James asked shoving his face with pie
"Yeah, i invited Ender for breakfast" I said eying everyone on the table and they all looked shocked
"You did what?" My mom yelled
"Mom look, he is not as bad as you think, okay? He is a really nice guy and besides he is my mate, dad made that clear" I said calmly to my mom
"He's your mate?" Peter asked and i can see the disappointment in his eyes
"Yes" James answered before I could
There was an awkward silence before the doorbell rang.... Saving us from the awkwardness
"I'll get it" I said slowly standing up
Opening to the door, i saw Ender standing there with his hands in his pocket
"Am I late?"
