AFTER ROAN PHYSICALLY REMOVES ANGELINA FROM the scene before her, and after Wonkru's retreat, Angelina Hood angrily paces back and forth across the office space in the bunker that she shared with Octavia. The red queen sits against a chair, holding her head in her hand as the scowl never left her face. Seeing her brother embracing the woman who almost killed both her and Angelina was too much for either female to handle.

Roan was furious as well. After all, he had caught the spy cheating for him during the conclave as she hid amongst the battlefield and used a bow to take out multiple opponents. Roan would have seen the woman dead himself, but she did help Angelina during the conclave. For that, the previous king of Azgeda had banished the spy from his land and from within the bunker.

Octavia knew as well, hiding well within the walls of the battlefield she had overhead it all. When the brunette won the conclave, she fulfilled Roan's wishes by completing Echo's banishment.

Roan and Raen both guard the door, awaiting Clarke as she wanted to take a better look at Octavia's arm. Both men watch as black flames radiate from the girl.

"Ang," Raen acknowledges the brunette with a bored sigh. "You're going to start a fire again and we're out of extinguishers. So get your shit together or we're all going up in flames."

Angelina scoffs at the man, remembering the first time she lost control of her magic. Angelina never took her mother's warnings to heart about how difficult it was to control dark magic. It binds to your soul, feeding off heightened emotions and the very first time that Angelina Hood got worked up, all of Wonkru knew it.

The girl had gotten better about controlling her anxiety with this newfound power, after six years and a designated room for the girl to break down in, Roan, Raen and Octavia also became well at noticing the girl's heightened emotions. So well that they each took turns handling the girl when it happened.

Raen glances to Octavia, his voice low as he whispers, "it's your turn."

Octavia glares at the man, looking to Angelina as she tells him, "Raen, she's fine." Raen opens his mouth to argue, his eyes watching Angelina pace back and forth as Roan stands back and let his soulmate be. "For what we just saw, she's fine. She's handling herself. She hasn't needed that room in years. She's fine."

Raen's mouth stays parted, a squeak of protest leaving his lips before her turns to Roan. The taller male glancing to his friend as he tells him, "if Angelina says she's fine, then she's fine."

"I'm right here," Angelina scoffs. She turns on her heels, the black cape over her shoulder flying behind her as she looks to Raen. The girl takes a deep breath, closing her eyes before her magic dies off. The black flames simmering away to nothing before she says, "and I'm fine."

"Yeah, you keep saying that," Raen mumbles loud enough for the three of them to hear. He looks to Roan before he says, "you both keep saying that."

"It's been years, Raen!" Angelina snaps at the man. "You're the only one who can't seem to let it go!"

"How can you?!" Raen finally yells, his voice raw with emotion as Octavia raises an eyebrow at the man. Angelina remains frozen as her eyes widen, the girl doing her best to stop the tears.

"Raen," Roan's deep voice stops the man.

The man pauses, glancing around the room. His eyes watering before he gasps, "I'm sorry." Raen sits beside Octavia, holding his head in his hands before he clasps them under his chin, looking to Angelina as he says, "I'm sorry, okay? I saw her there today and I just wanted to loose it."

Angelina sends the man a sad smile, moving to wrap her arms around his shoulders as she says, "believe me, so did I."

The door opens, the metal squeal alerting those within the room. Roan shifts, allowing Clarke inside the room as the blonde's eyes fall to Angelina. She sends her a soft smile before ushering in the child from before in behind her.

Angelina doesn't miss how the young girl looks to herself and Octavia in amazement.

"Hey," Clarke speaks, breaking the silence. "Is it still okay if I take a better look?" The blonde looks to Octavia.

The red queen nods, allowing Clarke full access to the exit wound from where Angelina ripped the worm from her arm. The room falls silent again, Angelina shifting to lean against Roan's arm as Clarke removes the wrapping around the girl's arm.

"Gross," the young girl gasps, the biggest grin on her face.

Clarke cuts her eyes to the girl who can't be much older than thirteen as as scolds, "Madi." The girl quiets down, glancing to Angelina in wonder as Clarke speaks to Octavia, saying, "the infection's passing, but this is going to hurt. Are you sure you don't want Jackson?"

The girl shakes her head, saying, "Jackson is tending to Indra and the others in medbay. Just do it."

Clarke nods as she pours a bottle of Monty's moonshine onto a rag. Octavia lets out a sharp exhale as Clarke presses the cloth into her wound. She turns away from Clarke, looking to Madi who already has her eyes on the red queen. The same eager grin on her face as she looks to the woman.

"Madi's a big fan of both of you," Clarke lets out a soft smile as she looks to the girl. "She's heard every story of the girl under the floor who saved the human race and the fairy-tale Sleya who came to save us all."

Angelina remains silent as Octavia turns to the young girl as she asks, "now what's your story? You survived six years of radiation?" No one notices the grin on Madi's face slowly drop as Octavia asks, "what's your secret?"

Clarke answers for the girl, saying, "synthetic night blood, like me." Clarke doesn't meet Octavia's eye as she wraps a clean dressing around the woman's arm. "I took her to Becca's lab and shared my bone marrow to keep her alive."

"You're lucky that Clarke found you," Octavia turns to the young girl, the small grin back on her face.

Angelina turns, thankful for the intrusion as Kara opens the door. She lingers in the doorway as she looks to Octavia, her eyes flickering to Angelina's as she asks, "ready to move?"

"She needs another days rest," Clarke answers for Octavia, earning a scowl from Kara as she tells the blonde, "she needs to be with her people."

"I'm done licking my wounds," Octavia speaks, standing as she says, "let's go remind the others what we promised them."

Kara nods to the woman, rushing to grab Octavia's jacket. Angelina eyes Octavia as the woman helps her queen get into the jacket. As Kara reaches for Angelina's jacket that lies on the floor, Angelina lets her magic crackle throughout the room. Angelina smirks as Kara flinches.

Roan simply shakes his head as Angelina slides her arms through the sleeves.

Octavia turns to Madi, sending the smaller girl a tight lipped smile before she says, "kom folau, oso na gyon op." (From the ashes, we will rise)

Angelina doesn't say a word as she quickly slips through the doorway and out of view of the watching eyes in the room.

Rain falls as the brunette steps outside of the bunker. Angelina and Roan walk side by side, her arm wrapped in his, as the girl breathes in the fresh Earth's air, slowly calming her anxiety as the fresh rain mists over her skin. The last thing the girl wanted was another flare up, especially in the prying eyes of Wonkru.

Octavia soon walks beside Angelina, followed by Kara and their security detail.

Angelina doesn't miss how the people of Wonkru look to their queens with hesitation, the fear evident in their eyes as they turn away from each queen's glance.

"Hundreds are still refusing to come out of the bunker," Kara speaks. "Afraid they'll be bombed in the streets."

"You said they needed to see us," Angelina states, staring straight ahead as she tells Kara, "but they barely look at us." The girl stops, turning to Kara as she accuses, "so what aren't you telling us?"

Kara sighs, pausing before Octavia to say, "word has spread about our defeat in the wasteland. Diyoza's firepower has crippled us all. The soil here is dead, I don't care how much it rains it won't be arable for years." Kara's voice growing louder as she continues, "and you know the hydrofarm can barely produce enough."

The woman is cut off as Octavia growls out, "stop it." Her eyes growing dark as she looks to the woman and says, "we have faced worse than this."

"Yes," Kara nods, agreeing with the red queen. "But now we know the warning signs of rebellion." The woman's voice quieting as she looks to both queens, "I betrayed you once before when you were vulnerable, when Wonkru was living in fear. Look around you, it will happen again unless you take control!"

"Kara, I think you need to take a walk," Raen warns, stepping before the woman.

"Octavia!"

Angelina turns, watching as Kara storms off down the broken streets of Polis. Bellamy and Echo each stand before them, Angelina's eyes hardening as she crosses her arms.

"Glad to see you back on your feet," Bellamy tries to cool things over with his sister. At a raise of Octavia's eyebrow, Bellamy drops the act as he gestures to Echo and says, "she tried to get in to see you, but they wouldn't let her in."

"What is she doing here?" Octavia growls in confusion, her eyes flickering between the spy and her brother.

Echo smiles, a nervous grin pulling at her lips as she speaks, "Octavia, I just wanted to thank you for saving my people."

"Your people?" Angelina bitterly asks. "There is no Azgeda, only Wonkru. And if I remember what I was told by multiple people, you were banished during the conclave. Did you not think that Raen and I would find out as you hid in the tower with us? Pretending to help?"

Bellamy looks at the girl, pleading with the two as he says, "I know that you guys have history, but Echo is on our side. She proved herself dozens of times on the ring."

In sync, Angelina and Octavia both lower their chins to the girl, their eyes both dark as Octavia speaks, "this isn't the ring."

She then turns, addressing her people as she yells out, "Wonkru! I banished this murderer from the bunker six years ago! My judgement still stands."

"O," Bellamy objects.

Octavia ignores the man, glaring at Echo as she tells them, "she has twenty four hours. If she's still here by then, she fights in the arena." The girl then storms off towards the bunker.

As Angelina follows, Echo grabs onto her arm. "Please," the woman doesn't have the chance to speaks another word as countless of guns are immediately trained on her chest. Angelina snarls, her skin illuminating as she burns Echo's grip. The woman rips her hand away, clenching it to her chest as she stares at the girl in horror.

"Touch me again and you go in the pit now," Angelina snarls, shoving past the two as she bumps both Echo's and Bellamy's shoulders.

As Angelina falls in stride behind Octavia, with Raen and Roan close to the woman's side, she hears Bellamy yell out from behind them, "Octavia! Octavia, stop!"

Angelina rolls her eyes, finally catching up to her best friend as Bellamy continues yelling. Angelina can see the pain behind the woman's eyes as she listens to her brother yell. "It was six years ago! You just can't cast her out! She won't survive!"

"That's the point!" Angelina yells over her shoulder. The tone in her voice sending chills through Bellamy's spine. All the man knew was that he had to find out what happened in that bunker, what happened that made the two best friends fall so deep into their own darkness.

The old horn used during the conclave sounds, sending panic through the tattered streets. Angelina stops, turning her attention to the sky as Octavia snarls, "Diyoza's ship."

Angelina's eyes turn black as her magic sparks, growing stronger as she watches the ship fly closer and closer.

"Bellamy," Octavia begins, her voice shaking with worry. "Get inside the bunker."

Bellamy shakes his head, glaring at his sister as he tells her, "not without Echo." Without another word or a glance to his sister, Bellamy turns around and runs towards the ship. The man is easily lost in the crowd as Octavia cries out in frustration.

Raen wraps his arms around the dark haired girl as he calls out, "Octavia, you need to get underground, too!"

Roan moves to cover Angelina, pausing as he notices her eyes. "Ang, no!" He yells out as he wraps himself around the girl, stopping her from attacking the ship with her magic as he shoves her backwards.

Angelina throws her hands up over Roan's head, her magic creating a field around the two as both soulmates cling to each other.

The girl opens her eyes as Raen yells to the woman from the door to the bunker. "Oscreina! Look!"

Both Angelina and Roan turn, their eyes widening in confusion as small packages with parachutes fall from the ship. Angelina storms into the streets, her magic radiating from her in fury as a large crate falls open in the street. Fresh fruits roll from the metal crate as a speaks sits above it.

"People on Wonkru," Diyoza's voice fills the area. "This is Colonel Diyoza offering you a chance for peace."

Angelina turns to Octavia as the woman slowly descends down the crumbled rock that surrounds the bunker door.

"I know you all suffered, I know you're hungry, and so many of you are weary of both Octavia and Angelina's rule," the recording continues. "But now you have a choice. Abandon your weapons, leave Wonkru behind and join us in Shallow Valley. We have plenty of food and shelter for those seeking a better life."

At Diyoza's words, Wonkru slowly emerges from their place of safety as they listen in on the woman's words. A new sense of hope emerging.

Angelina slowly inches forward, her glare set on the offerings as the recording continues. "When our ship returns tonight, head for the wastelands. Anyone waiting for us outside of the ruins will be rescued. But come unarmed. If Octavia and Angelina attack our ship, we will retaliate against your city with lethal force."

As the anger bubbles in Angelina's veins, the girl can feel her magic becoming stronger. The girl clenches her teeth, closing her eyes as she digs her fingernails into the palms of her hands.

"We're watching everything, always."

Angelina screams out, her magic unleashing as the metal crates explode into black smoke. One by one, the crates explode, only saving the fruits as the smoke fills the ruined city.

"That might be Diyoza's voice, but those are Kane's words," Octavia snarls as the doors to the office close. Octavia, Angelina, Roan, Raen, Indra, and members of the patrol and the two queen's guards stand around the table as they discuss.

"He knows we're vulnerable and he's sharing it with the enemy," Roan shakes his head. "We need to assume that others will do the same. In the arena, Kane openly defied us to stir dissent."

Octavia nods, taking in the man's words as she says, "I want patrols along the perimeter around the clock. When that ship comes back, anyone caught beyond the ruins," Octavia pauses, sitting in her chair as the door opens, revealing Clarke and Bellamy.

Angelina rolls her eyes, scoffing loudly as she takes a seat beside Octavia. Her head hanging in her hand as she plasters an annoyed look on her face as he eyes meet Clarke's.

"This is a private meeting," Raen states as he stands before the blonde.

"It's fine," Octavia speaks. Raen immediately stepping aside as he puffs out his cheeks, rolling his eyes as he glances to Angelina.

"We all have people inside that valley that need our help," Clarke scolds both females.

Angelina stands as she snarls, "if you're talking about your mother, we are not interested in rescuing traitors. So as far as I'm concerned, she and Kane can rot there. We're trying to prevent more of them."

Monty and Harper trickle in behind Clarke, their eyes widening at the girl before them. Neither one expected Angelina to survive after they were told what happened in the conclave. With both Roan and Octavia fighting and Angelina's connection with both of them, everyone was sure that they had seen the last of Angelina Hood.

"Your people are hungry and you're worried about defectors?" Bellamy spits. "We should stop wasting time looking for enemies in Polis, and we should start trying to find a way back into that valley!"

"Who says I can't do both?" Angelina sends a sickly smile to the man, her eyes darkening before she says, "none of which concerns you as you're not Wonkru. But last time I checked, Diyoza can see our every move."

"That's what're Monty comes in," Harper speaks up, watching Angelina's every move.

Both Angelina and Octavia raise an eyebrow as Monty presents them with the contraption within his grasp. "Laser-com," he speaks up. "It's dialed right into their mother ship. All I need it a relay tower on the ground that we build out of scrap and a computer. I should be able to blind the eye from here."

"Good plan," Miller speaks up from across the room. "Once it's down, we can attack."

"Fine," Octavia agrees. "Miller, set Monty up. Cooper, shoot anyone who tries to defect." The girl ignores the shocked expressions sitting on those who stand before her. She turns to Angelina, nodding her head as she speaks, "we're done here. Time to train."

Angelina stands wrapped in Roan's embrace. Her back pressed to his front as Roan's lips graze her neck. The smaller woman letting out a soft giggle as she tilts her neck, allowing her soulmate more access.

Raen and Octavia had slipped away to train, Angelina was sure that Bellamy had followed to lecture the girl to lecture her again.

Angelina was just glad to have some alone time with Roan. The two barely got much of it anymore as the worse Octavia's anxiety became, the more time Octavia spent the nights in the soulmate's bed. Angelina squished between Octavia and Roan. The girl didn't mind, knowing that Octavia would do the same for her, but she was desperately craving time alone.

Angelina turns around, crashing her lips to Roan's as she pushes him backwards. The man's back hits the wall as they both let out satisfied sighs.

Angelina tilts her head, leaning her cheek into Roan's palm as they two lock eyes. The brunette quickly clenching her eyes closed, bitting the inside of her cheek as she feels her eyes turning black.

Roan sighs, tilting the girl's head up as he tells her, "don't hide from me. You can do that around everyone else, but not me."

Angelina nods, slowly opening her eyes as her brown ones meet Roan's blue ones. All evidence of her dark magic gone as the two reconnect their lips.

The sound of their bedroom door opening doesn't break the two apart as Bellamy and Echo stand in the door way. "Careful," Angelina taunts, turning her head to look to Bellamy. "A few minutes later and you would have seen something else."

Bellamy rolls his eyes at the girl, crossing his arms as he and Echo close the door behind them. "Octavia wants Echo to spy for her, turn in the defectors. I know that you two had a better relationship then Echo and Octavia did."

Angelina begins laughing, holding her stomach as she tells Bellamy. "She and I? You're forgetting that Echo's blade shoved me off that cliff too."

"She's changed!" Bellamy yells, turning to gesture at Echo. "It's been six years! When will you let it go?"

"Never," Angelina shrugs. "She's a traitor. You're lucky Octavia gave her a day to get away."

"Octavia said that the defectors will be shot! Angelina, please! Talk to her!" Bellamy begs.

Angelina giggles again, Roan smirking behind the woman as she says, "oh sweet, naive, Bellamy Blake. I'm worse than Octavia."

Without another word Angelina turns back to her soulmate, pressing their lips together once more as Echo and Bellamy rush out of the girl's bedroom.

Hours later, both Angelina and Roan stand in their makeshift throne room with Octavia and Raen as the four of them impatiently await Echo.

Angelina sits on Roan's lap. The two had quickly gotten dressed before Octavia had barged into their bedroom, overwhelmed from her conversation with Bellamy. The girl would never confess it, but Angelina knew that Octavia still wanted her brother to understand.

Angelina turns as Bellamy and Echo slip through the door. The girl waving her fingers at the two as black smoke danced between her fingers.

Bellamy looks away as his sister asks, "so, what do you have for me?"

"Nothing that you're going to like," Bellamy answers.

Echo sighs, glancing to Octavia as she speaks, "I'm not turning people in so you can execute them."

Angelina scoffs as she speaks, "a spy and a murderer with a guilty conscience," the girl turns to Bellamy, a sinister smirk across her lips as she speaks, "you're right. She has changed."

Ignoring the girl and avoiding eye contact, Bellamy speaks up, "there's something else. Monty was wrong. He can't hack the eye from here, not without inside help." As he finishes, the man holds a device in his hand that's smaller than his thumb.

Octavia wrinkles her nose up as she asks, "what is that?"

"Inside help," Bellamy responds. "There's a program on it which opens the back door to their systems, giving us control of the camera on their mother ship. Monty says it's easy to use if we can get inside their firewall."

Before Angelina can speak, Octavia beats her to it as she raises an eyebrow and asks, "you want me to let you defect?"

Angelina turns, paying no mind to the older Blake sibling as Roan traces patterns on her hip with his thumb. But Roan's eyes never leave Bellamy as the man says, "either that or your people starve to death here in Polis when your farm stops producing."

Angelina doesn't react as she feels Roan's grip tighten on her hip. The girl simply leans into his embrace as she runs her fingers through his hair.

"Out of the question," Octavia demands. "I'm not sending you on a suicide mission. Diyoza knows who you are, she knows you're my brother. She'll never believe that you're a defector."

Echo finally speaks up, her voice sharp as she speaks, "she'll believe me."

Raen shrugs, leaning on the throne in which Octavia sits as he says, "well you already have the perfect cover."

Echo cuts her eyes at the man she grew up with before glancing to Roan. Echo grows irritated as the man barely pays attention. "It's a political sacrifice, but a necessary one if you want your people to survive."

Octavia glances to Angelina, the two just staring at each other. The room is silent for a few minutes before Octavia turns to Raen and speaks, "call off the patrols." The woman stands, moving to Echo. Octavia's voice grows more sinister with every step as she says, "but once you're on that ship, you're on your own. If you're discovered, or you fail to take down the eye, then no one is coming to save you."

Angelina and Roan walk down the hallways of the bunker, the female wanting to be with Octavia as their guards carry out their orders to shoot down the defectors. Angelina didn't like the idea of shooting her own people, Roan didn't either, but they had to make it look real. There's no way that Diyoza would believe the defectors if Angelina and Octavia just let them go without a fight.

So it was Roan who set up Kara with a gun, and who helped Kara and Raen stake out a place where they could easily shoot down a few defectors. Of course, shooting Echo wasn't an option. Angelina wasn't thrilled about that but she also knew that's why she and Octavia couldn't be the ones holding the guns.

So the two queens would stay hidden while Kara took care of the traitors of Wonkru.

Angelina squeezes Roan's hand, their fingers grazing one another's as Angelina slips away into the queen's shared office.

Octavia glances up at the girl, already stowed away reading a book as she waited. Before Angelina can speak to the girl, the door opens. Angelina doesn't turn as she sits down, assuming that Roan had entered the room.

Octavia didn't glance at the door either, speaking with her eyes trained on her book, "is it done?"

The small voice that calls out has both women turning to the door as Madi hesitantly asks, "Blodreina? Oscreina?"

Angelina stands, her eyes dark as she looks to the small girl. Madi closes the door behind her, shifting her weight backwards as she meets Angelina's eye.

"Madi," Octavia nods as she stands up. "What are you doing here?"

Madi glances between the two women, her eyes wide as her small voice shakes. "I need to show you something."

Angelina tilts her head, watching the small girl as the guilt evident in her eyes grows. "I know, Madi," Angelina speaks, drawing both Octavia's and Madi's eyes.

"You do?" The smaller girl's voice continues to shake.

Angelina softly smiles as she moves to stand before the girl. "That you were born a nightblood and Clarke lied to us about it? Yes, I know."

"How?" Octavia asks, her eyes dark as she looks to Angelina.

"There's no way that Clarke could have donated her bone marrow to you and given it time to complete the transfusion into your own blood before Praimfaya hit," Angelina calmly looks at the girl.

Madi slightly nods, "Clarke just wanted to protect me. She's all I have, my family died in the radiation. We survived together for six years. Clarke raised me on stories of all of you. So I know who sleya was, and no matter what happened in this bunker I still believe that the girl from the stories is still there."

Angelina's breath lies hitched in her throat. Her heart racing as she looks to Madi.

If anyone else had spoken these words to the girl, Angelina surely would have killed them with her magic by now. But the brunette can't bring herself to pull herself out of her head as tears well beneath her eyes.

Octavia, noticing the woman's frozen stature, stands before Madi as she smiles at her.

Quickly Angelina finds herself standing beside Octavia as Madi stands before both queens. Madi's body falling stiff as they stand in the fighting ring. Angelina glances over Madi's shoulder, finding Roan guarding the entrance to the ring. His eyes remained trained on his soulmate.

Octavia holds a blade out before her, holding it over Madi's palm as she speaks, "oso jus ste seim, oso jus laik won jus." (Our blood is the same, our blood is one blood)

Madi winces, letting out a pained gasp as Octavia slices open the girl's palm before handing the blade to Angelina. The brunette slicing her palm as someone yells out for the small child.

Angelina turns, finding Clarke held back at the entrance to the fighting pits by Nathan Miller. Bellamy stands behind her watching the scene before them as Clarke continues yelling for the girl. "Octavia! Angelina! Get away from her!"

"Clarke, it's okay!" Madi calls to the blonde before saying, "I came to them."

Octavia takes the blade from Angelina, slicing her own palm as she speaks, "let her pass," and connects each of their palms together.

"Nau oso tai so op kom won jus. Yo laik Wonkru," Octavia speaks, letting go of the smaller girl's hand just as Clarke enters the pits. (We bind ourselves with blood. You are now Wonkru)

"What the hell are you doing?" Clarke snaps, pulling Madi backwards.

"It's okay," Madi tells her, glancing up to lock eyes with Angelina. "They know everything."

Angelina finds amusement in the horrified expression she receives from Clarke as the former friends lock eyes. "We understand why you lied, Clarke. You were just trying to protect her," Angelina twirls a piece of Madi's hair between her fingers. "But Madi no longer needs your protection, she has ours."

Octavia smiles down at the girl as she tells her, "I know what it's like being the girl under the floor. You don't have to be afraid anymore." Octavia runs her fingers down the girl's cheek, leaving blood lines where her fingers were. She smiles at the girl as she tells her, "your training begins tomorrow."

Angelina turns to walk away, pausing by Clarke before telling the blonde, "don't worry. Your secret's safe with me." The girl them follows after Octavia around the outer railing up to their office.

The red queen is stopped as Bellamy stands in the middle of the hallway, a glare on his face as he spits out, "we had a deal. You said you'd let them go."

"I said I'd let Echo go, and we did," Octavia corrects the older sibling.

"You murdered your own people!" Bellamy yells, becoming emotional.

"We executed traitors," Angelina shakes her head. "And we made it look like a real defection," Angelina slips past Bellamy into the office where Roan stands waiting. "Do you really think that Diyoza would believe Echo's story if we just let them go?"

Octavia slips past the man, turning as one hand sits against the door. She smirks at her brother, asking him, "tell me when the eye is down."
