BIANCA POV
this morning i walked downstairs for breakfast in a great mood from my win last weekend "morning fam! your overall high score soloist of the entire day." i smiled as they all sat eating breakfast
"oh god, this will fuel her ego." blake joked and i rolled my eyes sitting down "congratulations bianca. but don't let this win go to your big head." brody joked and i slapped his hand away from ruffling my hair
"your gonna be top the pyramid b." birdie told me making me smile "i'm actually so excited for pyramid. just nervous cause some of the moms didn't really like us there." i said eating my breakfast
"oh yeah, jill was mad bianca got a solo over kendall who was 2nd at nationals. but you know your mother, calm cool and collective." she told us making us laugh "but get ready, bianca you have a tap private and birdie your going to the zieglers." mom said and we nodded
once we finished our food we got our dance bags and i was wearing a light pink sports bra with black leggings and my hair was in a slicked back ponytail
after dropping birdie off my mom dropped me off at the studio "hi miss abby." i smiled
"hello ms overall soloist." she smiled brightly at me looking up "ok your tap private is in studio c, your teacher megan will be in there soon." she told me and i nodded
i set my bag down in the den and grabbed my tap shoes and went in seeing maddie stretching "hey bianca." she waved with a smile
"oh hi maddie. this is studio c right?" i asked and she nodded "oh abby didn't tell you?" she asked and i shook my head as i started putting tap shoes on "we're doing tap and ballet privates together now. she thinks we challenge each other and we can learn from each other." she told me shaking her legs out
"i agree." i said and she smiled "me to. you deserved your win last week. we'll definitely have some friendly competition." she said
"thanks, and for sure. i'm surprised i even won last week." i told her and she scoffed "are you kidding your amazing. your scorpion turns had me nervous there so good." she told me making me smile
the door opened and the teacher i assumed megan walked in "hey maddie. and hello bianca it's nice to meet you." she smiled at me "nice to meet you too." i smiled back
"alright let's get started"

pyramid came around and maddie and i sat in the den talking until the other girls got there and in a matter of time we all walked in studio a in the same spots from last week
abby wasn't very happy "one day, national champions. the next day, third place." was the first thing she said "we cannot walk in there mediocre."
"abby do you think it's because you brought two new girls in?" jill asked "nope. actually i think we only got third because of these two. i couldn't take my eyes off them." abby said and i looked down with a slight smile
"alright we will be attending the believe talent competition in columbus ohio. now you know who's gonna be in ohio." abby said and i could feel the flashbacks
"it's gonna be crazy this weekend." maddie whispered to me making me chuckle
after abby went on about cadc we got to the pyramid
Bianca
Maddie, Birdie, Chloe, Kendall, Paige
Mackenzie, Nia, Brooke, Payton
i smiled as everyone clapped for me and my top spot "our overall high score winner of the entire day, is bianca. your first solo and you won the whole thing. you beat nia and you beat maddie. and i couldn't take my eyes of you and your sister." she told me and i smiled shyly
"kendall and chloe. you both have solos. i wanna see who my number two girl is- but i think i've already found her." she looked at me making me smile and the moms scoff "i need a number three girls you could say. and birdie you have a solo, i've got word that a boy from cathy's will be doing a solo in your division. and i wanna test you. your sister won her first week. can you?" she asked and my sister nodded nervously
the group was called just another number meaning easily replaceable
the moms went upstairs and we immediately started the group "bianca can you do your scorpion turns?" she asked me and i nodded doing it with ease
"perfect so when you and maddie cross at the leap do the turns then turn out into your illusion into a back roll then back on your onto your knees and up on your toes." abby instructs and i nodded going back to the leap section
she counted it off and i did it to the counts and she clapped
BIRDIE POV
"ok everyone out. birdie get water then come back in." abby told me and i nodded and after getting my water i went back in
"alright face the back arms up like this, swoop them like this and jump jump face the front. reverse fan kick and step step face the back and drop down and around and out step and 3 leg hold turns out illusion, step out and calypso." abby said and i did the moves to her pace and she clapped
"fast learner i love it and from the top with tempo." she told me and i nodded "5, 6, 7 and 8."
BRIANNA POV
"how do you like birdies solo so far?" melissa asked me "i love it, she's really good at jazz so i have faith in her." i smiled as she ran her dance with music
"she just learned it? wow fast learner." holly said
"like i said last week my kids learn fast." i shrugged and she hummed "how about bianca on the top of the pyramid?" jill asked
"i liked it. she earned it." i said and they nodded and i'm glad cause if they were to say otherwise it would've gotten real
BIANCA POV
while birdie ran her solo i had a salsa class so after throwing on my latin heels i went in studio d and started stretching with the class
"ok everyone new season. so i'm setting partners." the teacher lola said and we nodded and i followed as they lined up against the wall
she listed off names until she got to me "bianca and uh noah. your partners." she smiled and we nodded
he walked over to me and i smiled "i'm noah it's nice to meet you." he said
"bianca. and you too." i said shaking his hand "your the new girl on the show team right?" he asked
"yeah me and my sister, she's in a solo right now." i said and his eyes widen "i knew it. you won last week. you beat maddie. the whole studios been talking about it." she said
"really? wow cool i guess."
our teacher got our attention and taught us the combo for the day and noah and i got to know each other while doing our dance
TWO DAYS TILL COMPETITION
the following say went by pretty fast and went pretty smoothly and we we're currently rehearsing the group dance
"see now this is where is looks weird cause peyton doesn't look like the clone. she doesn't look like the rest of them. like chloe paige and bianca could all be clones." abby said making me chuckle at the last part
but i did feel bad for peyton cause she's been learning it and is now threatening her with taking it out
COMPETITION
competition came around and we all got off the bus passing the crowd and cathy's and she turned to my mom and i
"oh you guys are new i'm cathy." she smiled and my mom nodded politely "your all so pretty can't wait to see them onstage." she said
she seemed nice so i wonder how'll she'll act on camera
we made our way to the dressing room and while birdie did her makeup i did her hair which was a side braid into a low bun with a red hair piece to go with her red costume
"ok girls come here." abby called two kendall chloe and birdie and after talking to the two she turned to birdie "now birdie, i want you to go out there and win ok. show me why i should keep you on this team. i don't wanna have to keep your sister and not you ok?" abby said and she nodded
something about this competition was that kendall and chloe were competing in the elite division and birdie and lucas were in the intermediate division
but anyways we went backstage and while lucas went on i turned to my sister "hey, don't be nervous. your amazing."
"but he's literally your age." she complained nervously "so. who cares about age. i know you can beat him. you just have to know it. dance for you not anyone else." i told her and she nodded as lucas walked offstage "i love you bird." i kissed her head
"love you too b." we did our handshake and she went in the wings and soon went onstage
"she your sister?" i heard from behind me and turned to see lucas "oh yeah she is."
"your the new girls on abby's team?" he asked again "yup."
"oh, you beat maddie last week. i seen your solo. you were amazing. you definitely deserved that win " he said and i smiled "thank you, like so much." i said
"i'm lucas by the way." he told me and i turned to him "i'm bianca. your solo was really good by the way." i told him
"thanks, your sisters really good. she has me nervous." he said and i smiled as she walked offstage and tackled me in a hug "you were so good bird." i squeezed her
after watching kendall and chloe we started to head back to the dressing room "see ya bianca." lucas said as we passed him "see ya."
once we reached the hallway i was hit with a few questions "you and lucas?" brooke asked
"he just started talking to me backstage." i shrugged "flirting?" maddie asked "i don't he complemented my solo last week." i said
"basically flirting." nia concluded "he probably wants you." chloe said and i shook my head with a laugh
thankfully the conversation ended once we got to the dressing room and abby hugged birdie "you were beautiful honey." she said making birdie smile
"thank you."
after kendall and chloe's critiques we all change into the group costume and ran the dance a few times while the moms enjoyed the silence with leslie out the room
finally we all went backstage and after doing there ritual we got in line to go onstage and i seen lucas give me a smile which i returned
the group was going really well and after my leap with maddie all the focus was on me when maddie ran back to the line and i did my 4 scorpion turns into an illusion and back roll and i went up on my toes and joined the girls for the renverse tilt jump
the number ended and we walked offstage and grabbed waters as cadc for in the wings and i shared a smile with lucas
we all sat in the wings and watched the number which was actually pretty good
AWARDS
after lunch awards finally came and after the usual party with the music and kenzie and birdie fighting over a foam lightsaber
we all then sat down me between birdie and maddie as intermediate solos were announced and birdie squeezed my hand
"now 3rd place in intermediate solos is lucas with Si Aun No Es Tarde!" was announced and he stood up taking his plaque
"and 1st in intermediate solos is birdie with americano!" i cheered loudly as she stood up and taking her award
then in elite kendall got 5th and chloe got 2nd and then we all squeezed hands as group awards were being announced
"and 2nd in our 9-11 small group is.... believe, candy apples dance center!" was announced and one of the girls stood up talking the award
maddie squeezed my hand tighter as they paused for dramatic effect "and first in 9-11 small groups is..... Just Another Number!" we all jumped up cheering and standing at the front of the stage
after pictures and our bow we happily made our way back to the dressing room cheering when we walked in
"good job girls!" all the mom applauded and we all wen t over to hug abby
"first place." abby sung hugging birdie who had a huge smile on her face
"so you beat them, you were number one." abby told us but the happiness didn't last too long "but let's face it, we won our 2nd competition and it's the beginning of the season. you have a king road ahead of you." she said and once again brought up the open calls
"birdie, you won. the only first soloist and you beat lucas and i'm proud. you were beautiful your technique and lines and tricks were far above your competition even the girls next to you." abby said and she smiled even more
once abby turned to peyton it started an argument so all the girls went to the bathroom to take all the makeup off and hair our
for the most part it was an amazing week
