I added Jinko, I didn't even know how to use this phone. How does one respond to an idiot's text message? Maybe I can have Dazai-san help me! This little mission of mine is coming in handy!
I walked over to the Armed Detective Agency stopping at their office. This time Jinko opened the door, he looked a little surprised and walked away from me, he seemed a bit upset. Whoops, did I offend him by leaving him on read?
"A k u t a g a w a ."
I heard my name being muttered when a dagger flew past my face, startling me a bit. I looked where the dagger was thrown and saw Kyouka activating Demon Snow.
"E x p l a i n."
I sighed replying "I came over to ask Dazai-san how to respond to text messages." Her angry red glare subsided as she replied "oh, then I'll go explain it to Atsushi." She ran off to find Jinko.
"You calleedd?~" Dazai-san smirked. I nodded giving him my phone. "How do I text back?" He looked at me for a moment confused, and laughed. "oh so that's it!" He exclaimed, he took my phone and showed me, "you just press these buttons that have letters and spell it out, like this, spell... "apple" you just need to type out the letters." He showed me, slowly typing "apple" with each letter. "I... I see!" I reply, fascinated. "see? Easy right?" I nod thanking him, "oh, could I have your number Dazai-san?" I requested of him, he shook his head "no".
"You should have your boyfriend's instead of mine." "I already do." "good! Then you don't need mine!" He walked away leaving me alone, well, at least I know how to respond... I immediately turned my attention to my phone and text Jinko.
Akutagawa: Sorry for not responding, I
did not know how to type on a phone.
Atsushi: Oh, alright!
Atsushi: sorry for getting a little upset...
Kyouka explained it to me.
Akutagawa: ok then.
I coughed placing my phone away. "Sooo can you leave now?" A childish voice said I looked at him, seeing it was a man with brown clothing. "Alright." I said standing up and walking out the door. I heard my phone buzz and saw Atsushi texted me again. Honestly I didn't like being texted without a reason, but if I want to be closer to Dazai-san, I have to endure this. I text back to Jinko.
Atsushi: Hey, so, I heard something happening at the Port Mafia, you ok?
Akutagawa: yes I'm alright, just some thieves.
Atsushi: What were they stealing?
Akutagawa: Explosives.
Atsushi: Huh?? why??
Akutagawa: I don't know.
Atsushi: How did they get away from you..?
Akutagawa: They're ability users as well, one
of them has an ability to control someone's
body I think.
Atsushi: oh... you feeling stiff?
Akutagawa: no I'll manage.
Atsushi: oh, that's good!
Akutagawa: yeah.
I've never been the best at conversating before so I left it at that. I walked back to the Port Mafia, I got a call from Mori, "come to my office, we need to speak of the ability users you fought the other day." "alright." I walked inside the Port Mafia's long halls and used an elevator to go up to the boss's office. I walked into his office seeing him trying to dress a little blonde girl into a frilly pink dress. I coughed catching their attention.
"Oh, hello there, Akutagawa, I didn't realize you were standing there! now I met the women you met yesterday, she explained her name as Kaiya Hitori." Mori stopped dressing the little girl and turned his direction towards me, " I looked at some birth records of the name Kaiya Hitori," He explained, "Her old name is Fumiko Hayashi." I flinched at the name, I was taken as a torture slave there, and forced many kids to be in despair. Fumiko was my old captor.
"Sounds familiar eh?" He added, having a dark glare at the paperwork, "Since you have the most connection with her, I'd like you to-" "But she's dead." I replied too quickly.
"Hm?" He said, eyeing me. "I killed her... how?!" I said rather shocked, I snatched the paperwork away and to my horror I saw her, despite her pure white hair, (which used to be ginger when we were children) she still has her red clock eyes.
"Any information of her abiltiy? You stated in your report that an ability user forced your movements to halt." I coughed, trying to calm myself. "Her ability is Floating Clouds, she can stop time until she touches an inanimate object, or someone else." I replied, coughing once more, trying to hide the fear shaking my bones.
"I see..." He replied, "that'll be it, thank you Akutagawa-kun." I nod, walking out the door hearing the little girl complaining once more. As soon as I returned home, I fell to my knees, no no no no no... Why is she alive?? I thought she died?! Did I not kill her?! Did I not give her the wish she kept begging me to fufill?? Did I-
*ping*
I halted my heavy breathing and looked at my text messages, it was Jinko again. I read his messages.
Atsushi: Your boss informed mine about the situation, are you ok?
Akutagawa: yes, I'm alright.
Atsushi: If you ever need someone to talk to you, I'll listen.
I hesitated, I shouldn't get Jinko involved with that psycho...
Akutagawa: it's alright, I'll manage.
Atsushi: Heyyy! can Iiwdsnj skfffjnsv jfm
Akutagawa: what.
Atsushi: SORRY DAZAI STOLE MY PHONE TO TEXT YOU
Akutagawa: Oh, you can give him
the phone to text me, he probably
has something important to say anyways.
Atsushi: if you say so....
Atsushi: Hey Akutagawa! Can I get you address for Atsushi-kun??
Akutagawa: ok
XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Atsushi: thankss! Atsushi will arrive in 20 minutes!
Do I really need to clean my house just for this idiot to visit? Oh well, if Dazai-san says so.. My house was clean but real dusty, I rarely return home, its like 9pm so I'm sure Gin is asleep right now, I go to my room to change, I brought the dust cleaner out and began sweeping the dust away. It feels forever since I've done chores huh.
After I finished dusting the house, I wondered why Dazai randomly wanted Jinko over, is he trying to be nice to Jinko just so Jinko could have a better relationship with me? Whatever the reason, I don't mind. I heard a knock on my door, Jinko arrived. I opened the door to see a tall white haired women standing there, she had red clock eyes. I fell on my butt wide eyed, I accidentally woke Gin up, she ran out seeing me on the floor, and seeing Fumiko again.
"Oops, wrong door." She spoke in a childish tone. I heard "wow I didn't expect to see you, wonder if Boss will kill me for this." She said bluntly, boss? What boss? Is she working for a secret organization?? Gin threw a dagger at her which she ducked and sat on her feet, "well looks like I'm not welcomed bye you two!" She waved goodbye winking and running away down the stairs.
I finally let out the breath I had kept in my throat, what was with her reaction to me? She seemed so.... Dazai-san like.
I saw Atsushi finally turn to my apartment door, seeing me on floor with a dagger on the other side of the wall outside. He wore a light red plaid jacket with a white shirt, he wore pulled up gray pants which reached to his ankles.
I was still a little shaken up from seeing Fumiko again, so I was breathing heavily. Gin was just as spooked, Atsushi quickly rushed to my side worriedly asking if I was okay, I kept repeating myself, but the tears flowed down my eyes to deny all I said. He hugged me still crouching down to my level, his hand ruffled up my hair from behind, as I held onto him for support. "L-Lets set him down on the couch..." Gin said, they both helped me to the couch.
Please don't let me see her again.
