the madam.
the pills.
all these were now on trending search, the whole country's attention and curiosity directed at a certain doll shop after a news came out that a young special male was made to work at the particular place.
working in the said establishment or as a doll wasn't anything out of the ordinary, it was legal and normal but the real issue was - he was a minor and that they had him take the pills. the small details enough to make a ruckus amongst the public.
no identities were named as to who the special male is or who was the person that tipped off the authorities. as soon as the media got word of it, it was published and was on headlines.
the public were outraged and demanded the shop to be investigated and closed for good if indeed it has violated the laws. also a bit ironic, considering how the same people would judge dolls or any person working in a doll shop.
what everyone knows is that the owner of the infamous shop, madam kim jennie is summoned to the capitol and is to appear in court as investigations are being made. the shop being shut down temporarily.
unbeknownst to the whole country, the certain brunette involved was peacefully sleeping, snuggled under the sheets with only his head popping out, a small pout visible on his lips.
it wasn't until he had suddenly woken up, eyes blinking and his hand immediately searching for someone beside him but feeling it empty.
"jungkookie...?" jeon taehyung rubs his eyes as he sat up, scanning the room and realize he was indeed alone, his husband nowhere to be found.
he yawned again before sliding out of bed, realizing that he had left the tv on in low volume with some random show on. he must've felt asleep while watching a kdrama series.
he went to check the bathroom, inside their walk in closet and the balcony but with no sight of the blonde male.
he soon decided to go out the room, walking down the hallway and sure enough he could see a dimmed light from his husband's office making him instantly waddle his way over.
he softly knocked but was not able to wait any longer and slowy opened the door, eyes landing onto his husband who was dressed in his pjs, reading glasses on and piles of papers seated on his desk.
"jungkookie..." taehyung's sleepy voice filled the room with the said man's attention immediately turning towards him.
"my love" jeon jungkook called, startled as he stopped everything he was doing, standing and walked over to the younger.
"it's late, you should be sleeping..." taehyung mumbled as he let out a comfortable sigh when the dominant male had wrapped his arms around him, basking him in his warmth as his silky pair of top with thin straps and shorts had his skin exposed in the chilly air.
"i'm sorry, love... did i wake you up?" the older replied. "i just needed to check on a few documents..." he added, as due to the different time zones between korea and other countries, he had to wake up at ungodly hours to check important documents being sent to him as the head of the jeon corporation that needed to be dealt with asap.
taehyung only hummed snuggling closer against jungkook's chest, obviously still too sleepy as it was about eleven in the evening.
"as much as i love seeing you in this tempting night wear of yours, you shouldn't be walking around in it, you'll catch a cold." jungkook says as he removed his cotton robe and draping it around the brunette who only whined when the dominant male had momentarily removed his arms around him.
the dominant male chuckled as he pressed a kiss on top of the younger's head who's sleepy eyes now looked at him.
"aren't you cold?" the brunette mumbled, making him to shake his head. his pjs were definitely providing him enough warmth compared to what the younger was wearing.
"i'll take you back to bed, i'm almost done so i'll follow soon." jungkook says with the brunette's turn to shake his head.
"no, it's alright... i'll wait for you." the younger said with jungkook ended up simply agreeing as he was very much happy having the brunette's company.
although, jungkook didn't expect that waiting for him meant that the brunette would be cuddled up in his lap, face snuggling closer against the crook of his neck.
he puts back his reading glasses on, one hand now flipping through the last pages of the documents he needed to finish while his other hand has found its way underneath the brunette's top, settled his waist. he couldn't help but give him a soft squeeze as he placed a kiss on the younger's temple whose eyes fluttered open and peered up at him.
he smiles but was startled when the younger leaned in and gently pressed their lips together.
"i love you" taehyung mumbled, a soft pink hue adorning the apples of his cheeks.
"i love you" jungkook replied, gently cupping the brunette's cheeks to give him a kiss properly.
the kiss started slow and sweet not until the dominant male had started to crave more, kissing him deeply as he slid in his tongue which the younger granted.
the brunette's soft moans filled the quiet room, their bodies brushing together as jungkook expertly shifts their positions making the brunette straddle him.
taehyung had his fingers clutched on the blonde male's hair as jungkook now had his own hands sensually roaming around his body, fingers gently brushing on his skin, gripping softly, loving the feeling of him against his palms.
it was taehyung who pulled away first to catch their breath but jungkook was quick to dive back in giving him a series of pecks, tugging and sucking on his bottom lip.
everything else was forgotten as jungkook lovingly gazed at the pair of brown eyes he loved the most who stared back at him with the same intensity.
he couldn't help but to just gently let their swollen lips touch as he stares at him and murmurs an 'i love you' followed by another gentle peck that made the brunette softly giggle finding his breath ticklish.
"i won't disturb you anymore, finish your work, mister jeon." the brunette soon says with a chuckle, as he decided to get up and thought it would be better if he settles on the sofa as they both seemed not able to stop from touching each other. he knew at this rate, jungkook wouldn't be able to finish anytime soon.
"no, just stay... please?" jungkook mumbled, eyes soft looking up at him that made him immediately sat back down.
"okay" the brunette complied as he settled back on the dominant male's lap on a more comfortable position not before giving him a soft peck on the check.
"you're doing a great job, jungkookie" the said man heared the brunette softly mumble before feeling him press a light kiss by his jaw that made him feel warm, a smile forming in his lips.
true to his word, taehyung remained still and cuddled up again against jungkook, watching him as he concentrated back on the documents layed out on his desk.
truth is, the blonde male was stressing out by the amount of work load he needed to get done but all of his tensions died down the moment he laid his eyes on the sleepy brunette stepping into the room, his presence alone made him instantly feel calm and at ease.
it was about an hour later when jungkook had finally finished everything he needed to do, taehyung awake the whole time and subtly pressing kisses on the other's skin or snuggling closer against him.
"let's get back to bed, baby" the dominant male gently lifts them up, carrying the younger in a bridal position.
taehyung only giggled as he wrapped his arms around the others neck, resting his head against his shoulder.
soon enough he felt the familiar soft sheets of their bed as the blonde male gently layed him down with jungkook hovering on top of him, dark eyes gazing at him.
the brunette couldn't help but softly blush from the other's gaze that seemed to be memorizing every inch of him.
he knew jungkook wanted to finish what they started back at his office earlier - and he wanted too.
he slowly reached out to gently caressed the other's cheek, jungkook's eyes fluttering close and leaning to his touch, a soft hum escaping his lips.
he then gently took off the other's glasses before cupping now both of his cheeks and pulling him close to press their lips in which the dominant male immediately obliged.
although, their kiss was cut short when jungkook's phone rang making the blonde male let out a small groan with taehyung laughing at his reaction.
"it must be important" the brunette says as the dominant male groans again and gave him another peck on the lips before sitting up properly to reach his phone that was situated on top of the nightstand.
the brunette watched as the dominant male's face turn serious.
"it's yoongi-hyung..." jungkook mumbled before answering the phone with taehyung giving a small nod already knowing what the call is about.
although, as if on cue, both their attention was turned to the television that they both had just noticed was still left on that had a late night news showing that made jungkook instantly frown, the headline about the on going 'scandal' with a doll shop he's very familiar with.
he got the remote turning it off with taehyung keeping quiet as he properly sat up on the bed, eyes following as jungkook went out to the balcony.
"hey, kook. i'm sorry, i wasn't able to call you back earlier" min yoongi speaks with the blonde male lightly shaking his head as if he could see him.
"no, no. it's alright, hyung. i also had to finish a few things. so, any updates?"
"yeah, i could confirm it isn't anyone from the capitol or law firm." the older simply stated making jungkook click his tongue as if sounding a bit disappointed with the news. "my bet is it's someone from the shop."
"it just doesn't make much sense to me..." he says with a sigh hearing the older hum. "i even talked to mister bang if he has anyone he could think of but no one comes to mind."
jungkook knew that the chances of the person being from the doll shop was high but he couldn't understand what the person would gain from it. the shop is now closed because of the scandal.
still, he couldn't help but think that what if it's just someone seeking revenge towards the madam or maybe someone who has something against the jeon corporation.
but whatever the person's reason is, his main priority is taehyung and to ensure that no harm would come to him.
"they're pretty fcked up right now with all the investigations going on." yoongi adds with a humorless chuckle. "has the madam contacted you or tae?"
"no, not yet at least. the last thing i would want is to be involved with her especially at a time like this." jungkook says with another sigh, a hand brushing to his blonde locks.
yoongi reported more about his investigation with the younger intently listening.
however, his eyes soon landed on the brunette who was now walking over to where he was.
jungkook wrapped an arm around the brunette's waist, planting a kiss on the top of his head with taehyung snuggling against his chest.
"okay, hyung. just call me if you find anything else, thank you..." the blonde male soon ended the call and now turned his full attention back to the brunette in his arms.
they stayed silent for a moment, wrapped in each other's arms. jungkook pressing a kiss on his shoulder.
no words were spoken but both of them only had one thing on their mind - the doll shop.
the last thing jungkook would want is for taehyung to be linked backed with the shop and for him to be reminded of his cruel past.
because as much as he had good and happy memories with the said place, the trauma of the young taehyung abandoned by his mother in that shop was still there, the way the madam 'conditioned' his mind and even his body that almost ruined his health, his capability of getting pregnant was still haunting him.
as the brunette got out of the shop and grew older, he had realized how wronged he was. he had just fully understood what being in that shop meant, what a doll meant to the society - he read and heard all the cruel words the public would say about dolls, to him.
"you don't have to worry about me, jungkookie..." taehyung speaks as he looked up at the blonde male gazing at him. he didn't know that jungkook would go as far as hiring yoongi to privately investigate the whole issue.
"whatever the public says wouldn't hurt me anyways..." he softly adds, although he couldn't help but feel his chest tighten.
due to taehyung's profession; being a painter and model, he is hot on the public eye and people just always has something to say.
despite getting a lot of love and support, there were still a few negative ones and a lot of false reports - "i bet he used his body to get into the modeling company, he's used to it anyway" , "how could he be the jeon jungkook's husband? the ceo could've done way better and married someone with the same level as him" , "imagine getting involved with a dirty man, a doll."
taehyung tries not to mind all the hate and negativity being thrown at him but he would be lying if he says it doesn't affect him and jungkook knows this.
jungkook didn't really care about the scandal surrounding the doll shop but when he realized how much all this would affect taehyung when word comes out that he was the doll they were referring to, he couldn't help but be protective.
"i know you're strong, my love... my strong jeon taehyung" jungkook says, breath fanning against the other's own. "but i still want to protect you, let me protect you..." he adds with the brunette's cheeks instantly feeling warm.
taehyung smiles as he gently cupped jungkook's cheeks and stood on his tiptoes as he pressed a gentle kiss on his lip which the other welcomed.
"i love you" the brunette murmurs, cheeks tinted pink.
the three words was enough for the dominant male to dive in again and capture the younger's lips but with more fever and a bit rougher this time.
jungkook swallowed every soft moan that escaped the younger's mouth as he murmured a series of 'i love yous' in between their heated kiss.
it wasn't long until the two had stumbled their way back inside their room and it seems that sleep has both drifted off their minds and the craving for each other taking over.

a little chapt 1 explanation hehe the issue of jungkook here is the threat of the public finding out that taehyung was the doll involved in the 'scandal' because yes, the public will 'pity' and side with him but ofcourse, negative comments would also be thrown at him.
it's not like a 'i want to protect you' in a "physical" manner but more on taehyung's "mental" health and whatever negativity might come with it since he's been through a lot and is still coping with what he had gone through.
taehyung doesn't hate the shop or being a doll but the conflict is again more on his "mental" state - due to how he was brought up in the shop with the 'conditioning' the madam did to him plus the negativity he got from the public due to being a former doll.
