right now, it's night time and we're walking around outside, looking at the stars and how beautiful they were.
"guys look, it's a constellation." Jhené pointed and we looked up.
"girl, not every clump of stars is a damn constellation, you just sayin shit at this point." Megan said
"it looked like one though."
"which one? The Big Dipper bitch?"
"nah, it looked like a bull, so Taurus."
"Lani's a Taurus." i said softly.
"Jhené, her you go making her sad again. it's okay y/n/n." Megan walked up to me and hugged me.
"girl, i'm fine, i was just saying."
"you miss her that bad, huh?"
"of course i do, y'all all out here in Paris, boo'd up and i'm out here feeling like a third wheel."
"awww, i'm sorry you feel that why. i'll see what i can do, maybe i can fly her out for you."
"it's okay Meg, i really appreciate the fact that you are willing to do that for me though, you're such a good friend." i started hugging her back.
"you're welcome, i wouldn't want you to be sad the whole time we're here."
"i'll be okay by tomorrow, i promise."
"alright." we continued to look at the stars and we actually saw a constellation.
Lani's POV
finna be overworked as hell next month, but if that's what it takes to see my baby, then i'll do that. i'm flying to Paris, i wanna surprise her.
imma text Megan and tell her i'll be there in the morning.
Megan's POV
"hold on y'all, i'm getting a text." i walk away from them and i see that it's from Kehlani.

"yo Meg, don't tell nobody, i'm trusting you right now"
"Wym?"
"imma be there in the morning."
"No way, ain't you busy working for the next two weeks tho?"
"not anymore, i took the rest of my days off so i could be with y/n/n."
"Awww, that's so sweet. You a keeper fr."
"thank you. what's she doing right now?"
"Looking at the stars."
"she be doin that all the time, it's cute."
"Yeah. Wait, you flyin?"
"yeah, i'm on a jet right now."
"How long you been on there?"
"a long ass time, almost 5 hours."
"You by yourself?"
"yeah. imma actually take a nap, this shit longer than i expected it to be."
"Alright, while I'll see you in the morning Baelani"
"i'll see you, love you, good night."
"Love you too, good night."
"who was that?" y/n/n came up to me.
"Kellon, he said he has some hairstyles he wants to try on me when we get back."
"oh okay, i'm getting kinda tired, i'm gonna go lay down."
Y/N's POV
"okay, i'll see you in the morning, good night."
"good night." i walked back up to our hotel room and went straight to my room.
i put on some sweatpants and one of Lani's t-shirts i took and laid down in the bed. i put the covers over myself, turned off the lamp, closed my eyes, and went to sleep.
Lani's POV
i finally got here. it's 4 in the morning. i don't know how imma get in there. let me just call Megan.
i called and she picked up immediately.
"yes ma'am?"
"what are you doing up?"
"none of your business, what are you doing up?"
"i called you to tell you i'm here."
"oh shit, okay, imma come get you."
"ight, bye."
"bye." she hung up the phone and i waited in the lobby for her. two minutes later, she came down.
"Kehlaniiiii!!!" i looked over and saw her waving her hand. i rolled my suitcase over to her and we went into an elevator.
"you got here so damn late."
"yeah because i live in California, not Paris."
"stop being a smart ass."
"is everyone else sleeping?"
"yeah."
"why you up again?"
"i was writing songs."
"you could've just told me that instead of being rude about it the first time."
"at least i told you right?"
"damn, okay, i'm sorry."
"what made you wanna come here anyway?"
"the fact that me and her have barely seen each other lately. she finally got time off and i'm not even there to be with her. and she said that she was sad that i wouldn't be here with her and that made me feel some type of way, so i rescheduled everything i had to do and flew down here."
"awwww, you such a good wife, no wonder why y/n/n loves you so much."
"everyone loves me."
"i don't, don't hype yourself up like that."
"you know you love me, remember that night a few years ago you was all up on me talkin bout some 'i love you so much Keh' 'you the love of my life' 'oh so you don't love me' all that?"
"alright, that's enough."
"i was just saying."
"first of all, i was drunk and you know that, second of all, you know you was my bae, that's why you 'Baelani' duh."
"yeah, yeah, whatever, bottom line is, you love me."
"yeah, i do. now shut the hell up."
we got off of the elevator and walked towards the room. she opened the door and i went in.
"damn, this bitch is huge."
"that's what she said."
"not like that."
"what you mean 'not like that'? that's what y/n/n said when she came in here. dirty ass mind."
"oh. well where's her room?"
"how you know she got her own room?"
"she sent me a picture of it when she got here."
"oh."
"yeah, 'oh'."
"shut up, it's right over here." we walked to y/n/n's room and she opened the door.
"thank you Megan, i love you." i whispered in a playful way.
"shhh, your whisper was loud as fuck, but you're welcome."
"wow so you don't love me back?"
"nigga, shut up and get in the bed with your wife."
"geez, i'm sorry." she went back to her room and i went into y/n/n's room and placed my suitcase in the corner.
i slowly got into the bed trying not to wake her up and i fell asleep.
TIME SKIP TO A FEW HOURS LATER🍯
i felt y/n/n moving a lot meaning she was about to wake up.
she lifted her head a little then plopped it back down. she turned her body and she was facing me. she started opening her eyes a little bit.
"huh?"
"hey baby." i whispered and smiled.
"Lani?" she said softly.
"yeah?"
"wait." she opened her eyes wider and smiled.
"OH MY GOSH, BABE!!!" she got up and so did i. she walked over to me and i held her.
"hey mama."
"you're here." she looked up at me.
"yeah. i wanted to be with you."
"but what about work?"
"i rescheduled everything so i could come down here."
"you didn't have to."
"i know, i wanted to though."
"i love you."
"i love you too." she kissed me and i kissed her back.
"when did you get here?"
"at 4 in the morning."
"who let you in?"
"Meg."
"how'd she know you were here?"
"i texted her last night, then called her to come get me."
"ohh, so you're who she was texting last night?"
"yeah."
"makes sense. i'm just glad you're here, i was sad. i thought we weren't gonna be able to kiss in front of the Eiffel Tower."
"we will, don't worry."
"okay." we stood there in silence, rocking back and forth for a while, i could just tell that she misses me. that's love.
"you hungry?" she asked
"yeah."
"okay, come on." she took my hand and we walked out to the kitchen. i saw Sean, Jhené, Meg, and Chris.
"yooo, what's up sis?" Sean came up to me and gave me a hug.
"what's up? how y'all been?"
"good, good. when did you get here?"
"like, 5 hours ago."
"oh word."
"Lani, i told y/n/n y'all should've came here for Valentine's Day and she cursed me out."
"yeah, she told me. your reasoning was stupid as hell."
"damn, you too. it was just a suggestion."
"we could though, just forget about why Jhené said."
"oh wow."
"Jhené, just be grateful it was taken into consideration." Meg said.
"you know what? imma be quiet."
"good." y/n/n said.
Jhené flipped her off and she laughed.
"sit down y'all, the food gon be ready in a minute." Megan said.
me and y/n/n walked over to the table and sat down. Sean and Jhené came and sat across from us.
"so, how long you gon be here?" Sean asked.
"what you mean how long?"
"i thought you had shit to do."
"i did, but i worked some things out and i was able to come here and spend the next two weeks with y'all."
"oh ight, that's what's up."
"so, what y'all wanna do today?" Megan asked
"we should go sightseeing." Jhené suggested
"i like that, the smartest thing you've said since we were flying here."
"leave me alone."
"stop, it's too early to start all this back and forth. we should go sightseeing, then we should go to lunch, then see on of those plays in the parks, then come back and do whatever." y/n/n said
"thank you baby. see, she knows how to work shit out without there being a problem."
"she ain't lie." Sean said
"Sean." Jhené slapped the back of his head.
"sorry."
"i like that idea, thank you y/n/n." Megan said
"so that's what we're doing today?" Chris asked
"yeah."
"ight, when y'all wanna leave?"
"at like 12:30 or 1:00, we all need to take showers and get ready."
"ight, cool."
"well, the foods done, come and get y'all's plates."
"i'll grab yours for you." y/n/n said.
she got up and got the plates from Megan and made her way back to me.
"thank you baby." i poked my lips out for a kiss and she pecked them."
"you're welcome." she sat back down and we all started eating.
