(Imagine Jake has a beard, Alexis has blonde hair and Angelica has red hair. Harry still has long hair in this book, don't worry it's a wig 😏)

| A N G E L I C A |

"Stop pulling the wig, Jake."

"But it looks so real, have you ever thought about cutting it?"

On the other side of the limo, sat Harry and Jake, who didn't look like themselves at all. I was continuously blown away by the makeup we get put on for these missions.

Jake was sporting a slightly "fucked out" look as he liked to call it, however he still looked the part of a businessman. He looked like one of those businessmen who you know is a dirty old freak.

Harry on the other hand, I nearly cried when I saw him. His normal curly long hair that reached just below his shoulders had been concealed by a wig (he pranked me and said they truly cut it off). I don't know how I'd fully react if he ever cut his curly locks off.

On our way to the socialite party, with Harry and Jake doing what they knew best, bickering with each other until one of them (Jake) gets punched.

I rolled my eyes at their antics, before turning to face Alexis who was at next to me in a golden, satin dress. She was analysing the pictures we had been given for the night, mainly the one of the necklace. Her normal brown hair was now blonde and styled with her locks in a bun, creating a very youthful look to her.

I'm fairly sure I was caught staring, or she could sense it, because her lips shifted up into a smirk without her even taking her eyes off the photo.

"Anything you'd like to say to me?" She hummed, handing over the photo without looking up at me. I didn't say anything back, too embarrassed that she had caught onto me staring at her.

I nervously looked in Harry's direction and was calmed to see that he was still occupied with Jake. Never had I ever been so thankful for Jake being his annoying self.

"Does Harry know? About that night?" She lowered her voice into a whisper, turning to look at me from under her lashes.

"What made you think that?" I asked back softly, surprised she could even read that from my expression.

"He got weirdly jealous in the meeting, and on the plane. Not to mention you're looking to see if he's noticing us talking right now." Just as she said that, my eyes snapped back to hers, an apologetic look on my face.

"It slipped out in an argument. He has no right to be jealous considering he was sleeping with Genevieve at the time we shared that night together." I chewed on my lip after I had said that.

"Boys will be boys." She shook her head. "I'm sorry you had to deal with that."

"Why isn't it awkward between us?" I laughed, genuinely confused as to why I hadn't been feeling oddly sickened at the fact we were speaking.

She only winked in response, telling me to analyse the picture before we spoke about a plan.

We were about 30 minutes out from the estate where Yvette and Romano were throwing their pathetic little party. This means we had only 30 minutes as a team to come up with a solid plan to take the necklace, replace it with the replica and get the fuck out of the estate. We had to dodge security, other socialites and the couple themselves. To say I was nervous was an understatement.

"So how do you suppose we get this necklace?" I asked her, gladly taking the other photo that she handed to me.

"Well. Hopefully she'll have the thing off. So we can sneak around and go get it. Their estate is going to be heavily guarded, no doubt about that. Remember the power of flirtation." She winked.

"And if she's wearing it?" I asked, chewing on the cuticle of my nail.

"We fight her for it." She laughed, grabbing onto my hand and pulling it from my mouth to stop my assault.

"What are the boys going to do?"

"Sniff around Romano and his men. No doubt he's going to want to show off his army of minions." Harry piped up, and my head turned sharply to see that him and Jake had been watching us the whole time.

I blushed slightly at the look on Harry's face. I couldn't tell if he was mad at me for talking to Alexis or if he was intrigued by the way we could act like nothing ever happened that night.

"You're not gonna get into any trouble tonight, are you?" I said suspiciously with a smile on my face.

"I can't promise anything, my Angel." He winked back, but I know there was still some seriousness there.

I knew we had arrived when Jake whistled lowly, pressing his face up against the window of the car and stared dramatically up at the massive estate.

The house truly encapsulated the essence of how romantic and beautiful Paris really was. There's also no doubt this couple had a lot of money. The house was huge, with an equally as big driveway with twin, winding stairs that lead to the front porch of the house.

We all wordlessly got out the car, seemingly getting into character as both me and Alexis grabbed onto the arms of our "husbands". I couldn't help but stare up at the house in awe, not believing that there was people in this world who had endless amount of money when children were starving around the world.

Feeling a little nudge in my side, I turned to look up at a very handsome looking Harry, who reminded me not to stare so much and at least act like I had come from this wealthy life.

"You deserve this someday." He whispered to me, bringing me tightly into his side.

I said nothing back, too overwhelmed to. I instead gave him a peck on the lips before turning forward with my head held high as we made our ways up the steps of the mansion.

"One thing you should probably know about these types of people, is that men are superior. Don't speak unless spoken too." He whispered into my ear as we walked through the front door, leaving a kiss just under my ear.

I nodded aimlessly, focusing on evening out my breathing.

"Good girl." I was rewarded with his hot breath at my ear, leaving goosebumps in its wake as he pulled away from me.

Grabbing two glasses of champagne from the waiter who was walking around the room, Harry handed me one before we stopped by Jake and Alexis, deciding to engage in conversation while sipping on our glasses.

"Yes! I did kill the bastard, poor Rodger didn't see it coming!" Jake suddenly blurred out, stopping my conversation that had barely begun with Alexis as we both turned, startled and bewildered by his outburst.

Harry was shaking his head, with a hand on his forehead as Jake laughed obnoxiously, lifting his glass at the other people who stared at him. He almost looked like Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street.

"What a peculiar man." A female voice spoke softly from the side of us, her smokey voice full of rich tones. Turning around, i was rewarded by the sight of a beautiful older lady.

Yvette.

My eyes darted down to her neck, and surprisingly to our luck, she wasn't wearing the necklace we were looking for.

"That would be my Husband. I'm terribly sorry for his actions and lack of volume control, he gets excited at these types of events." Alexis smiles, shifting from one foot to another as she addresses Yvette.

"Excited? Must be a man thing. I couldn't think of anything more boring." Yvette answered, I almost felt guilty by the fact we were going to rob the woman, she seemed sweet.

A sudden presence to the side of me alerted me that the boys had finally began to join us. Harry's hand was placed firmly onto the bottom of my back, dangerously close to my ass. I could feel the coolness of his rings through the silk material of my dress.

"Good Evening, Ma'am. My name is Ja-hmph." Jake grunted as Alexis sent a sharp jab into his side for nearly giving out his real name. "My name is Jason, and this is my wife...Allison." Jake recovered quickly, leaning down to kiss Yvettes hand as a welcoming gesture. Alexis smiled and pulled her into a dainty hug, following behind with a kisses to both cheeks.

Yvette turned to Harry and I, scanning our attire and letting her eyes linger on Harry for a few seconds too long before gesturing for us to introduce ourselves.

"Hayden. And this is my beautiful wife, Arabella." Harry didn't bother to move and touch Yvette, instead pushing me forward to greet her the same way Alexis did.

"I assume you're here to discuss business with my husband? I don't recognise any of you enough to know if you're already business partners." She smiled, her eyes staying on mine a little longer as it faded from her face.

"You'd be correct. I'm excited to meet him and discuss work." I nearly spit my champagne out at the contradicting choice of his words despite the bored look on his face.

"Oh my goodness!" Yvette gasped, reaching out for my left hand that was holding the champagne. "What a beautiful ring." She brought my hand closer to inspect the diamond, which I have no doubt in guessing it was a genuine diamond.

"Only the best for my wife." Harry spoke up, gently pulling my hand away from Yvette's.

Just as Harry did so, a tall, round framed man had reach us and wrapped his arm around Yvette, no doubt this was Romano.

"Who do we have here?" His gruff voice spoke out, his thick French accent shocking me. Yvette had a fairly distinctive American accent.

"Honey...this is Jason and his wife Allison..." she spoke, pointed over to Jake and Alex. "And this is Hayden and Amy!" She pointed over to us, waving her hand as she pronounced my name wrong...well my fake name.

"Arabella." I spoke up, forgetting to hide the obvious bite in my voice at her blatant disrespect.

This fake name shit was getting tiring.

Harry's hand on my back had now slipped to my hip, we're he gave me a warning squeeze. I had already forgotten the first rule, don't speak unless spoken too. This wasn't going to work with my inner feminist.

Yvette didn't bother to correct herself, showing me she must have been jealous of me the moment she had seen me...or the moment she had seen I was "married" to Harry.

"The boys are here to discuss business. We'll let you get on with that while I talk to the ladies." It shocked me how much Yvette was giving the orders to Romano, and how he really didn't seem to mind. He seemed like a man of few words.

As the boys went to walk away, Harry leaned down to kiss the side of my head, muttering a "kick some ass if you need to."

Smiling to myself, I watched as his tall frame walked away from me, and I couldn't help but think of how I wanted to rip his clothes of in that moment.

"So, Arabella. How long have you been married to that gorgeous man?" Yvette said, obviously not interested in the marriage but in my man instead.

"It's still new, just over two years." I spoke softly. I figured if I can seem as innocent as ever, it makes me seem less suspicious when I steal her stuff.

"Any problems?" She rose an eyebrow, flicking her blond hair behind her back.

"Why? Do you want him?" I joked, watching as her face flinched, confirming my suspicion. She laughed it off, waving her had as she called me a "funny young woman."

We stared at each other for a few moments, no doubt she was thinking of all my flaws in her head, where I was thinking of ways I was going to kick her ass without anyone seeing.

Why does everyone want to take Harry away from me.

"Oh goodness." We heard a slight groan from the side of us, and our staring was interrupted by Alexis leaning down slightly, holding her stomach.

"Are you okay?" Yvette asked, taking the flute of champagne out of Alexis' hand.

"I think I may need to use your bathroom, where is that exactly?" I smiled discreetly as I knew exactly what Alexis was getting at.

"Through those doors and up the stairs, 3 doors to the right." Yvette smiled sympathetically, moving back slightly which I knew was most likely in disgust.

"I'll take her there. Thank you for your hospitality, Yvette." I didn't wait for an answer as I wrapped my arm around Alex's waist, pulling her in the direction of the exit.

"I could feel the tension between the two of you, Gels. I'm beginning to think you would've fought her." Alexis laughed as she straightens up, walking up the stairs like nothing had happened.

"She was rude." I huffed, crossing my arms over my chest.

We didn't bother to stop at the bathroom, instead we reached the elevator that was in the home and took it up to the top floor. If the master bedroom was going to be anywhere in this house, it must be the top floor.

Weirdly, there seemed to be no security up on this floor, nor was there any form of surveillance. This allowed me and Alexis to get into the master bedroom rather easily.

We headed straight for the vanity, where we looked in every jewellery box we could see. But much to our dismay, there seemed to be no diamond necklace.

"I'll check the bathroom, you check the closet." I said, opening the en-suite to a bathroom that looked like it could hold the whole party downstairs.

I hurriedly opened any cabinet I could find, just wanting to get this over with as my body began to feel with dread and anxiety. My body was telling me either something was wrong, or something was about to go wrong.

"Fuck." I cursed under my breath as I knocked over some weird looking ointment that smelled like mint. The smell was so potent it made my eyes water instantly, and I struggled to lift the bottle back up from the counter without knocking anything else. But of course, that would be too easy, and I knocked over another bottle onto the floor. I bent down to pick that up, with my anxiety making me feel even more disorientated.

It barely registered in my head when I heard the sound of something that sounded so similar to a gun being cocked.

"I knew there was something off about you." I jumped in surprise, still bent over trying to pick up the glass shards from the bottle.

In front of me stood a red faced Yvette, holding a small hand gun up to me as I looked up at her from my position on the floor.

Oh fuck.
