The next day I woke up early because I had to go to a gift shop to buy Daniel a gift for his birthday.
I wore my uniform and made my way to wake up Johan. I rang his doorbell and waited.
He opened the door "Why are you ready now? There is one hour left for school" he said.
I smiled "Well I have to buy a gift for my friend so we have to go now"
"I had a good dream and it's all gone now," Johan thought.
"All right wait a minute I will be back," he said and went back inside. I waited for him.
After few minutes he came out
"Let's go," he said.
We reached the gift shop. I was so excited to buy a snow globe for Daniel.
"Welcome! How can I help you?" the saleswoman asked us.
"Can I get a snow globe?" I asked.
"Of course we have a lot of varieties. Please follow me" the saleswoman said as she guided us through the store.
"See this is the new model" she explained as she showed us the snow globe.
"Wow, this looks amazing" My eyes sparkled.
The sales lady looked at me and gave me a smirk and asked me "Well young lady is this for your boyfriend?"
It made me blush "What? No, no it's for a friend" I said.
"Johan, what do you think should I buy this one?" I asked him.
"Hmm," He responded.
"Okay, then I will buy this" I exclaimed.
I was so happy. Johan was confused about what made me this happy.
"Does she have a boyfriend? How come Gun didn't tell me about this?" Johan thought.
We reached school. I looked at Johan.
"Bye Johan! See you in the evening" I waved. But he didn't wave back. It made me mad that I was the only one who was smiling and waving back. I walked towards him.
"Do need something?" He asked.
"Yes. When someone says goodbye you're supposed to wave back not just stand here like an idol" I said to him crossing my arms.
He stared at me for few secs. He raised his arm and waved.
"Good !" I gave him a thumbs up.
He turned back to leave but suddenly he bumped into someone. It was Vasco.
Vasco flinched and said "Sorry".
"Watch it!" said Johan staring at him and walked away from there.
Jace looked at Johan as he walked past them. "Oi isn't that face familiar?" Jace asked Vasco.
"No"
I entered the classroom and saw Daniel all dressed up. I ran towards him and wished him a Happy birthday.
"Y/N thank you so much" he smiled.
"Hehe," I chuckled. "Oh and Daniel I have something for you" I grinned as I took out the gift. "Here" I handed him the gift.
Daniel was so confused and unwrapped his gift and opened it. Daniel was surprised and didn't know what to say.
"Y/N...."
"You like it?" I chuckled.
"I love it. Thank you Y/N" he smiled.
"I'm glad you like it".
"Y/N is kind and sweet. I'm grateful to have a friend as her" Daniel thought
"Y/N I'm going to the cafeteria do you want to join," Daniel asked me.
"No, Daniel I have to complete some notes" I answered
Daniel thanked me again and left.
*Timeskip*
The school was over and I waved goodbye to everyone and left. I saw Johan standing outside the gate.
"Oiiii Johan! " I shouted as I ran towards him.
"Let's go," he said as usual
Then we started walking. It was only 3:30 pm so I didn't want to go home early so I decided to go to a Cafe nearby.
"Johan"
"Yes?"
"Let's go to a cafe," I said.
"Why?" He asked.
"To eat something duh" I shrugged.
He didn't say anything but agreed and we entered a Cafe.
"What do you want Johan?" I asked.
"Nothing" he answered.
I squinted my eyes and asked, "Why?"
"Because I don't have money," he said.
"Just say what you want I didn't ask whether you could pay," I said.
"An Americano" he replied.
"Fine one Americano and one chocolate cake please" I ordered.
We got our orders and sat down on the chair. Johan wasn't the type who will start a conversation and he was silent most of the time.
"Johan, What's your favourite colour?" I asked him.
He looked at me "Why?"
"Umm... just to know lol," I said munching my cake.
"I don't have a favourite colour" he answered.

We finished eating up and paid the bill and left. I insisted to him that we walk a bit.
We walked around the streets but Johan looked numb the entire time.
Am I annoying him so much? ಠ_ಠ
I felt guilty and told him let's head back home.
But I remembered we had to buy milk so we decided to go to a convince store on the way.
It was night already. I was surprised by how patient Johan was with me. But suddenly we heard a noise it sounded like someone was fighting.
"Johan! Do you hear that?" I asked him.
"Yes probably someone is fighting" he answered.
"We have to help them, Johan," I said pulling his arm.
"Huh? Don't be nosy" he told looking back at me.
It made me mad "Johan! Someone can be in trouble. I don't care if you're coming or not going" I said and left.
I ran towards where the sound came from. I saw a chubby guy and a guy with specs fighting.
"Hey Stop it !" I shouted.
When I went near them I saw the other 4 of them standing there.
Aren't these guys from the bar from that day? And I saw a girl with them.
"Umm...miss you should get out of here," the chubby guy told me with a worried look.
"Don't worry I will save you" I smiled.
I glared at them "leave these guys alone" I said.
"Oh my god I'm scared" the girl teased me.
One of the guys walked towards me and said "Sweetheart last time you had your boxer friend with you and we were easy but this time it's different"
"Let's see" I replied raising my eyebrows.
That guy put his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him and said "Yes".
I gasped I couldn't free myself from his grip it was too strong.
Out of nowhere Johan appeared and pulled the guy's hair from the back and slammed his head on the ground.
All of our Jaws dropped.
"You okay?" He asked me with his back facing me.
"Y...yes" I replied.
Johan gave those guys a deadly stare.
"YOU ASSHOLE !!!" one of the guys charged towards him.
Johan dodged the punch like it was nothing and swung an uppercut punch right at his face.
"His punch wasn't that strong but he knocked out that guy" the chubby guy near me stated.
"Who's next?" Johan stared at them.
"M..MONSTER! " they shouted in unison.
They were about to run away but I called them "Oi! You, don't leave your friends here take them with you"
"Yes...yes," they said and carried their friends and left.
I looked at the chubby guy "Are you okay?"
"Yes thank you" he bowed down.
"What's all the commotion is about "
We heard a voice from behind us. We turned to who see it was.
"Vasco?"
"Y/N? Is that guy bothering you?" He asked me looking at Johan.
"No, no he helped us" I replied.
Vasco stared at Johan and Johan stared back at him.
"Okay, now let's get going," I said to break the thick air surrounded them.
"Y/N who is he to you" Vasco asked me.
"Huh"
"Why do you care?" Johan said.

"He...is my bo-"
"Neighbour" Johan interrupted me.
I was confused why Johan said that instead of the truth.
Vasco looked at me "Okay then, see you later Y/N" he said and left.
We entered the nearby convince store and the shopkeeper was the boy who we saved just now.
We brought the milk. The chubby guy thanked us again.
"It's alright be careful," I said and we left the store.
