(Y/N)s PoV
"Relax (Y/N), she is going to be ok... Netossa and Spinderella are with her, they'll be fine" Bow says with confidence, still recovering on my bed
"I know but we saw that bot. We suffered what it can do. I don't want them to get hurt" I sigh defeated and worry as I sit next to him. He sits up and places a hand on my shoulder
"I know, but they'll be careful" he says sweetly
"We are talking about Adora.... You heard her when she left. She is determined to destroy that bot at all cost" I say worry
"Yeah you might have a point there..." he giggles
"....But Netossa and Spinderella are with her, they'll keep her safe" he says hopefully bringing a small smile on my face
"Yeah but what if they get hurt.... If the bots knocks them out like it did with us, somebody should...." I start but an idea appears on my head
"...You know what. They'll be fine..." I say happily as I walk to the door
"... I'm going to the kitchen, you want anything?.. No?... ok I'll be back" I say nervous turning around an open the door
"You're going after them, aren't you?" Bow says unimpressed and clearly knowing my plan
"What!! Psst no" I shout nervously trying to hide my lie. Before he could speak again and try to stop me I run out of the room
Glimmer's PoV
I'm making my way to Shadow Weaver's garden to command her to give me an answer of how to stop Catra... To think like she does. But as I'm about to take a turn the corner (Y/N) crashes with me
"Auch! Glim I'm sorry... Are you ok?" She says worry as she helps me to stand
"Yeah I am...shouldn't you be resting?" I giggle and smirks playfully as I ask her. She smiles nervously because she got caught
"Yeah I'm on my way to rest right now" she clearly lies
"Sure you are" I tease, not believing her
"Anyway why are you around here?" She asks curious
"I was going to talk to shado.." I start but quickly stop when I realized what I said but it was too late
"Shadow Weaver?!! Glim, you need to stay away from the woman. She is not good nor cares about anyone but herself" she says a little angrily but not at me. I can see the concerned and fear in her eyes
"I know and I'm not letting her manipulate me, I promise....." I assure her sweetly
"....Besides I'm just going to ask her if she has a way to stop Catra... She knows her better than anyone" I say hopefully
"You mean the woman who tortured Catra her whole life? The one that not only cursed you, and by the way I'm just waiting the moment to hurt her back for it, but also tortured me so bad that I was basically in a coma for a week and a half" she says angrily
"Maybe you are right...but I can't keep doing this. Sending you guys to get hurt.... I have to do something" I say desperately and a little broken. She hugs me tightly and then pulls away
"Glim, I promise you, we'll fine a way to stop the Horde... You have my word, but we are going to do it ourselves... Without the help of the wicked witch...." she says sweetly and full with hope
"....Besides, I wouldn't trust the woman even if she was the only person who could get me back to my planet" she jokes but I only frown at the sudden sad feeling inside
'she still wants to leave?'
"You still want to go back to your world?" I ask sadly
"Well yeah... I guess... I mean I love it here and I love you guys so much..." she says lovingly but looks away sadly
"...But I miss my parents and sister so much. I.. It's just...you know what, we'll figure it out later ok" she says sweetly but hurt
"Of course, right now we need to focus on the Horde" I say sweetly chaging the subject
"Exactly!! which reminds me... I have to go do something..." she starts clearly planing something dangerous
"....But please promise me you are not going to talk with Shadow Weaver. We can do this without her" she says worry
"Fine... As long as you promise, you'll come back in one piece from wherever you are going" I smile and she laughs nervously
"What?! I'm not going anywhere" she lies
"Sureee" I laugh. She laughs nervously and runs away
'I'm sorry (Y/N) but she knows how to stop Catra'
I walk inside the garden where Shadow Weaver is. I tell the guards to leave us alone
"I need... The Queen demands your help" I say strongly
"I see. And what is it I can do?" She asks with her malicious voice
"You know Catra best. She's been two steps ahead this entire time. Show me how to think like she does, so I can figure out her next move before anyone else gets hurt" I command
"You don't need to think like Catra. I told you, you're more powerful than you know. Are you willing to use your power?" She asks devilishly
"And how, hypothetically, would I do that?" I ask not sure if I should trust her
"Magic, of course. A location spell is a simple but powerful tool for any young sorcerer. All it takes is a few ingredients.... and the will to see it through" she says as she takes a flower from her garden and puts then on a cauldron
"You've been growing magic plants this whole time?..." I shout surprised
"....What do these do?" I ask curious pointing at some flowers
"Those are daisies. I find them cheerful...." she says almost happily
"...Now, the final ingredient, added by the spellcaster" she continues while pouring some dust on my hand
"Did I do that?" I gasp amazed. The dust starts to glow and she nods, walking behind me and taking my hand and starts to draw something
"Think about what you're searching for. Keep it in your mind" she says as she finished drawing and an image of Catra shows up
"A secret outpost. The Horde has been operating out of the Whispering Woods this whole time" I say surprised
"Well done" Shadow Weaver congratulates me
"Oh, no. Adora's looking in the wrong place. If we can warn her in time, we can send her to the outpost and stop Catra once and for all...." I start worry
"...But if Catra's tracking She-ra, she'll know we're coming and clear out before we get there" I say even more worry
"Catra won't be expecting an attack. Her attention will be focused on Adora. It would be the perfect time to strike" Shadow tries to convince me
"Are you suggesting I use Adora as bait?" I ask surprise and angry
"As a distraction. But the decision is yours alone to make. What will you do, Your Majesty?" She asks devilishly
"Maybe a can do both... (Y/N) just left, I know she left to help Adora, if I can find her and warn her, she'll get the others out and also give me enough time to stop Catra" I say as I walk to the door
"I wouldn't trust that girl... She is clearly not deeply involved in this war" she says maliciously, I stop abruptly
"What did you say?" I shout angrily as I turn around
"I mean she doesn't care what happens to Etheria.... She only wants to find a way to go back to her world... That's the only reason she is here" she says devilishly
"You are wrong.... She cares about this war and she cares about us" I say angrily
"If you are so sure, Your Majesty" she says maliciously as she goes back to her gardening
'(Y/N) is not going to leave us like this.... I know she misses her family but we are also part of it.... She even said that herself
I won't fall for Shadow Weaver's manipulation tricks'
Adora's PoV
"Look who I found wandering in the woods by herself" Spinderella says as she stops spinning and shows (AC/N) next to her
"(AC/N)! What are you doing here? You should be resting... Are you ok?" I embrace her worryingly, checking to see if she was still too hurt to walk but she stops my hands gently and smiles at me
"Yeah I am Adora.... I just wanted to help you guys" she giggles. She was still hurt, I could see her leaning more on one leg but she looks well
"But you should be resting, you and Bow got really hurt last time" Netossa says worry
"I know but I can't let you three get hurt... so I'm here, I might not be able to use my magic but a can still fight" (AC/N) says sweetly and with confidence
"Fine! but you stay close to me, ok?" I say worry as I hold her hand. I knew it was pointless to try to convince her to go back. The worst part is that she calls me the stubborn one. I guess we are perfect for each other, we're always willing to protect the other even when we are hurt
"You got a deal blondie.... besides somebody has to keep you out of trouble" she jokes, proving my point, and elbows me playfully, making Netossa and Spinderella laugh
"In my search I didn't see any sign of the Horde" Spinderella says
"Ok.... Maybe you all should go back. I can take it from here. I'm not leaving until I destroy this bot" I say with confidence but also worry about my friends
"What?! Adora we literally just made a deal for me to stay.... Like two seconds ago" (AC/N) laughs
"No! Princesses stick together....We'll find it" Spinderella says happily
"Ha. You wanna fight some bots. See, guys? She is just as competitive as I am" Netossa says looking at us. We look at each other confused
"See, this is why no one comes to game night anymore. Adora, (Y/N), tell her" Spinderella says looking at us too
"Oh, I don't.." I say unsure
"Maybe people don't come to game night because you insist on serving vegetable platters. No one likes vegetable platters. Right, Adora?.. (Y/N) back me up here" Netossa says a little annoyed
"Well I actually like her food and I also enjoy game night but.." she starts but a bot near us catches our attention. It drills itself on the ground again, bitting like before as it's about to send a pulse wave. I quickly take them and run behind a rock before the pulse hits us
"Fall back!" I scream as we run away. We make it to a small river between mountains but we realize we are surrounded by multiple of those bots
"Oh oh... This is not good" Spinderella says worry
"Netossa help me please" (AC/N) creates a barrier around us, grunting painfully as it finished forming around us. She is still hurt so it won't be strong enough so Netossa helps her with a net. Just then the bots start pulsing around us. Trapping us here without an actual plan. Just waiting for us to get tired so they could get the change to wipe us out
I see the pain in (AC/N) face, she clearly shouldn't be using her power right now. I know she is not completely healed and yet giving everything to protect us. Netossa is the same. She is struggling to hold the net and it's getting smaller with every pulse
"Please, tell me we have a plan because I'm running out of magic" (AC/N) grunts through her teeth as she kneels on the floor and I immediately step next to her, holding her shoulder
"I don't know how long I can do this" Netossa says worry as Spinderella holds her worry too. I hear sparkles near by so I turn around to look up at a rock where Glimmer is
"Glimmer?" I ask in disbelief and surprise
"Thought you could use some help" she says confidently as she teleports and destroys most of the bots. Netossa and (AC/N) disappear the barriers and (AC/N) leans to my body exhausted. Which I instantly hold sweetly
"Are you ok?" I whisper concerned
"I am... don't worry.... Just exhausted, it's all" she whispers sweetly but tired
"Why do you always have to risk yourself like this?" I ask sadly and concerned
"Because I promised you I'll always be here for you... And I don't intend to break that promise" she whispers lovingly
"You are going to get yourself killed" I laugh, but worry is all I'm feeling as I hug her
"To make sure you will always come back to me, it's worth it..." she says giggling as she places a kiss on my cheek
"....Besides I was worry you would do something stupid" she jokes and we laugh
*time skip*
When we made it back to Bright Moon, Glimmer told us everything that happened
"You should've seen me out there, Bow. I was like.." Glimmer shouts exited as she teleports while making poses. I'm sitting next to Bow and (AC/N), she doesn't look happy
"Sounds really cool. But also, really awful?" Bow says nervous as he looks at us
"Ugh. Come on, guys. Can't we just enjoy this victory?" Glimmer asks
"This isn't over. We still need to figure out how the Horde is tracking me" I say worry
"I still don't believe that" I hear (AC/N) whispers to no one
"But until we do, at least we can use it to our advantage" Glimmer says happily
"By using Adora as a bait? Glim She could've gotten killed... Netossa or Spinderella could've gotten killed" (AC/N) says a little angry
"I know it was dangerous. But it was the only chance I had to take out the rest of the bots before Catra could unleash them. And it worked" Glimmer says, trying to make this right
"Then why didn't you tell us... We could made a plan around it" (AC/N) asks hurt
"I wanted to.... I tried to find you so you could warn them but you were already gone...." Glimmer says sadly
".....I'm not gonna stay behind anymore. That's not the kind of queen I am. I wanna be out there, fighting to protect my kingdom. Side by side with my best friends. And now that Shadow Weaver's teaching me magic, I'll be twice as effective" she continues happily
"She's WHAT?!" (AC/N) shouts angrily
"What? Shadow Weaver's teaching you?" I asks worry
"Guys. We won today and no one else got hurt. That's what counts" Glimmer says happily
"You have to be joking. You can't let that bitch get close to you Glim.... She'll hurt you" (AC/N) says angrily but mostly concerned
"Glimmer, I don't know.." Bow starts but Glimmer interrupts him
"Now, I'm gonna go raid the kitchen in celebration" she says excited and clearly not listening to anyone
"Glimmer" I say trying to talk to her but nothing
"I'll bring back some cake" she shouts happily and teleports away. I look at Bow and he looks worry about Glimmer, but when I look at (AC/N) she just looks pissed... Really pissed
"(AC/N)?" I ask concerned as I place my hand on her shoulder but she walks forward right after my touch
"I need some air" she says, trying to sound normal but I knew her too well. The raging fury was evident in every word
'this can't be good'
