(Y/N)'s PoV
It's night and we are walking through the Whispering Woods.... woods that are known by the dangerous creatures that live there and that it chances position when you are not looking. What could possibly go wrong?
And to make it even better I was freezing out here at night, thankfully I prepared myself before we left and grabbed my jacket
"Come on! Come on!" Bow muttered annoyed down at his tracker pad. Giving it a few light punches, as if trying to make it work. Which would only mean that it wasn't working correctly. I might've talked to soon. Why did I talk so soon?
"Uh! Please tell me we're not lost!" Glim frowns, half annoyed and half worried. She steps closer to me and grabs my arm in an intend to ease her concern. I pat her hand around my arm twice in reassurance
"No, this thing is just acting up. Looks like it's being overloaded by the tech's signal" he explains, frowning pensively down at the device
"Yeahh, we are going to die out here. Everybody knows you don't go out to the woods at night with a broken GPS... It's horror film's survival 101" I snorted amusingly, sending Bow a teasing smiling. Glimmer laughs joyfully next to me
"Oooooor it means we must be getting close" Bow turns to us and tries to hide the amuse smile on his face. Before he looks back down at he's tracker and then forward, trying to find a clue where to go
Yet, out of the corner of my eyes a flash of light appears and when I turn towards that direction I saw something big shining brightly not far from us. Glimmer gasps surprise as she sees the same thing
"Ohhh shiny" I whisper amazed
"Uhh... I think it's that way" Glimmer points out, releasing my arm
"What makes you say that?" he asks us not really looking at us
"Maybe.... Just maybe is the not weird at all light in the middle of a creepy woods" I joke while Glimmer points at the light. He looks and giggles
"Oh, yeah. That'll do it" he says
"Well..." I says teasingly as I prepare to run. "the last person to get to the light explains to the Queen why we disobeyed her order AGAIN" and then I was off running toward the light, not letting them even register my words. I heard the laughs behind me as I almost make it, but then a flash of sparkles appears in front of me and for a second I see Glimmer ahead, then she was gone again
"Hey..." I call out accusingly. "that's cheating," I laughed joyfully as I stop next to her. "Hey... That's not fair," I take a deep breath. Breathless from all the running a ND jumping tree roots and vines. "You can't use your power, that's cheating," I point out, faking annoyance. "In the other hand Bow lost so he's going to have to talk.." I giggle but noticed she is not actually looking at me. she kept her eyes right ahead
"Glim? Are you ok? What's going o...?" I frown worriedly and follow her line of sight and froze when I saw who was in front of us. Adora?
"HORDE SOLDIER" Glimmer screams right next to me, startling me
"I see her" Bow screams back and reaches back for her bow and arrow. when did he arrive?. They both run towards her, ready to attack
