Adora's PoV

I woke up in a hole with Bow and Glimmer. It still is night time

'what happened?...................... (AC/N)!!!'

"Guys wake up!! We need to get out of here" I say worry and desperately, waking them up

"Urgh what?" Glimmer says tiredly

"What happened? Where are we?" Bow asks worry

"Huntara betrayed us... She knocked us out and took (AC/N)!" I say angrily but mostly worry

'how could I have let this happen? She took (AC/N) right in front of me.... What are they going to do with her?'

"WHAT!!" they scream in unison

"We need to get her back... I can't...I can't lose her" I say desperately. They place their hands on my shoulders, calming me down

"And you won't.... We will get her back" Bow says sweetly to me

"We won't stop till we do" Glimmer says hopefully. I smile

"Thanks guys.... Now let's figure out a way to get out of this hole" I say looking up

"I got this one" Glimmer says with confidence. We teleport a couple of times but we always ended up falling into the hole again. Finally after what felt like forever we managed to appear at the edge of the hole

'this is all my fault... I should've come alone... I put my friends... My girlfriend in unnecessary danger....... And for what?!... They didn't deserve this madness'

"Ugh, I'm sick of this! We've been tricked, robbed, temporarily paralyzed, they took (Y/N).... Now we're stuck here in the middle of.." Glimmer starts saying angrily but Bow stops her

'she is right.... And it's all my fault'

"Glimmer!" Bow says surprised but I ignore them

"I mean, I'm so glad we finally got out of there" Glimmer fakes optimism

"Adora?" Bow asks worry

"Having this mission made me feel in control. After the last few days, I really needed it. I needed answers. I thought if I found out more about Mara, I'd find out more about myself, where I came from and why...." I start saying sadly

"....And after what happened with Shadow Weaver, (AC/N) has been distant and I'm angry because she lied to me but I don't want to be, but can't stop myself.... I... Light Hope showed me what happened and it was... Horrible and I have the feeling that's why she hid it from me. But now I... Lost her... She is in danger and it's my fault. If I wasn't angry with her, I would've been able to protect her.... To protect all of you" I finished defeated, I lay on the ground and hug my legs

"We'll still get those answers. We're not beat yet. Sure, this road trip has been kind of a disaster" Bow says supportively

"Pretty standard for us, honestly" Glimmer chuckles

"But we all know you're going through a lot and we've got your back, whatever you need to do. And so as (Y/N), she loves you Adora, and wherever she is, she knows we'll get her back" Bow says sweetly kneeling down and taking my hand

"We have your back Adora.... We always will, no matter what, Besides, it's not like you stole our weapons and left us stranded" Glimmer says happily. I look at the ground and see footprints in the sand
