(Y/N)'s PoV
"Well, it took some searching, but we finally found the Royal Coronation Robe!" Bow says excited as Adora puts it on Glimmer but is too big
"Wow, Glimmer! You look... Um" Adora says unsure
"Oh, my little Glimmer. I'm so proud of you. I know you're going to make such a wonderful queen..." Casta says sweetly but Glim frowns
"....Well, almost time for your quest! Give me a tick and this robe will fit like a dream!" Casta says faking excitement as she takes the robe and leaves the room
"Of course. The quest we still don't know anything about. But it'll be fine. Castaspella will fix the robe, Bow has the lantern, and I'll have you guys by my side the whole way. Right?" Glim says nervously but optimistic
"Of course Glim... You'll have us all the way" I say lovingly as I kneel taking her hands
"Umm... Right!" Bow says unsure
'ohh boy, what happened?'
"Hey, um, (Y/N) Adora, can I talk to you real quick?" Bow asks nervously as he takes my shoulder almost making me fall but didn't let it. We walk outside
"Ok what happened?" I ask curious as I cross my arms
"I don't know where the lantern is! Glimmer can't do the quest without it, and she can't be queen without the quest!...." Bow says nervously and hyperventilating
".... I've doomed the entire kingdom!" he shouts freaking out
"Bow calm.." I start but Adora interrupts me
"Bow, calm down!...." she shouts completely losing it too
'these two do not work well under pressure'
"....We just have to find the lantern, and Glimmer will be none the wiser. It has to be around here somewhere, right? This day is going to be perfect!" Adora finished exited but still nervous. We all gasp when we see Shadow Weaver walking towards us. I instinctively pull Adora closer to me
"There's no need to be alarmed. I'm a guest now. Can't you tell? Please, convey my best wishes to our new queen. I hope you two are still close. Power changes people" she mocks maliciously at Adora
"Stay away from her... I warned you if you hurt Glimmer I will destroy you... In fact stay away from everyone here" I say angrily but she laughs
"Haven't we been here before? We all know your powers are still recovering from the portal. And I don't think you have the guts to hurt someone.... Not even me" she spits maliciously
"Wanna bet on it" I shout angrily, about to punch her stupid face but Adora stops me
"Glimmer is a good friend. She'll be a good queen, too" Adora shouts angrily too
"Hmm. I hope for your sake, you're right" Shadow Weaver mocks again. I grunt frustrated and prepare to punch her but Bow grabs our shoulder and makes us walk away. We make it to the terrace and is a disaster
"Adora, I've been freezing anyone trying to sneak in, but I'm running out of space to put them" Frosta says excited
"Oh my god.... Sea Hack!!" I says worry
"Unfreeze him right now!" Adora shouts a little too much to Frosta. She nods and runs to him
"Don't you think you were a little too hard on her?" I ask worry and she sighs
"Yeah... You are right" she whispers lowly
"It's ok.... C'mon let's help the others" I giggle as I make her walk with me. As we walk everyone is shouting and yelling. Mermista and Perfuma are fighting for the flowers. Frosta screams bouncer and hits someone
'that was actually fun to see'
"Okay, has anyone seen a sacred lantern?" Bow shouts freaking out
"Yeah. There" Mermista says unimpressed pointing at Swifty and Bow sighs
"Oh! We've been looking all over for it! Thanks, Swifty" Adora says relieve as she reach to take the lamp but Swifty looks away stopping her from taking it
"And I'll present it to Queen Glimmer. And she'll be all, ~Swift Wind, why don't you sing the coronation song you made up?~" he says excited
"Sing? Wait you wrote a song?" I ask but no one heard me
"Glimmer, can you please tell Perfuma to stop questioning your wise judgment?" Mermista says as we look around and see Glim walking to us
"What? I'm not.." she asks confused
"Where do you keep the blankets? Sea Hawk is whining about being frozen" Frosta asks normally
'i hope he is ok'
"Why did you free..?"' she starts worry but Casta interrupts her
"Glimmer, the quest is due to begin. Where's the lantern?" Casta asks
"I have it! And now, my song" Swifty shout exited and starts mumbling his song as everyone keeps shouting at Glim. I look at her and she is getting nervous and anxious.... Until
"Everyone, just stop!" she shouts angrily. We all stop and look at her. The head of her ice sculpture cracks and rolls to her feet
"Glimmer, we will fix all of this" Casta says nervously
"Let's just get this over with" Glim says sadly taking the lamp and walking away
*time skip*
We finished preparing everything and change into our formal clothes and wait for her in the entrance of a cave
She stands in front of everyone with a sad face
"We are gathered here today to witness the crowning of Queen Glimmer of Bright Moon as she completes the Quest of Queens and begins her reign as our new leader..." Casta says proudly as she presents the quest
"... She will be accompanied by three witnesses.... Master Archer Bow....
... (YF/N) the Etherian Warrior and
...Adora, Shera, Princess of Power...." she continues pointing at us
".... Let the light guide you and go forth in peace and safety to emerge as Queen of Bright Moon" Casta finished proudly and Mermista opens the waterfall and we walk inside the cave
"So, quest! Heh. We're good at quests" Adora says excited but nervous
"Can we just do this, please? I don't want to think about flowers, or colors, or stupid decisions..." Glim shout angrily
"... And we're bad at quests" she finished walking away. After a while Bow says
"Wow. I can't believe these tunnels have been underneath our feet all this time" he says amazed
"Yes.... How is that we never heard of them" I say sweetly and amazed too
"So, how deep down do you think we are?" Adora asks trying to light up the mood
"Okay, what's with you guys? Stop acting like this!" Glim says angrily looking back at us
"Like what?" Adora asks innocently
"Like.... Like.... Like this!" she says moving her hands to us
"Glim, we're just.." I start but she turns away
"Whatever. None of this even matters!" she growls angrily throwing the lantern but it kind of shines brighter
"Wait, look!" Bow says amazed As he runs to the lantern. We follow him close behind and gasp surprised
"I think... I think this is the Chamber of Queens!" Bow says excited
"WOW... This place is beautiful" I gasp amazed
"Look!" Adora says pointing at a altar
"That altar. I read about that in the scroll. I think it's for the lantern" Bow says excited but a loud growl scare us
"I really don't like that sound" I whisper afraid
"Is this part of the quest?" Adora asks worry
A giant creature shows up growling loudly
(is it just me... Or is that thing smiling😂)
"What the..?" I say afraid as I pull my friends backward
"Teeth! Giant Teeth!" Bow screams scared
That thing attacks so we jump away. I create a blast and hit it with it, making it growl mad
It uses its tail and hits Glimmer throwing the lantern away
"The lantern!" Glim shout worry as she runs to it but we stop her and run to a small cave near by
"Is everyone alright?" I ask out of breath
"The scroll didn't mention a giant angry monster living in the tunnels under Bright Moon?" Adora shouts afraid and nervous
"I don't think is wise to tell the kids here that they live in a kingdom with a deadly monsters underneath" I joke but still afraid
"Come to think of it, I might remember some mention of a Bright Moon guardian that we'd have to subdue" Bow confesses embarrassed
"Bow!" Adora shouts
"Are you serious?" I ask nervous
"It was confusingly worded!" he screams nervous as the monsters keeps trying to get in
"Ok... We need a plan" I whisper
"We need to get out of here. Come on, teleport us out!" Adora says afraid to Glim but she looks guilty and sad
"Glim are you ok?" I ask concerned
"I... I can't teleport!" she admits sadly
"Glimmer!" Adora asks worry
"What? Why not?" Bow asks also worry
"I haven't been recharging my powers!" she admits embarrassed
"What!" We all shout at the same time
"Recharging would mean taking the Moonstone's full power for myself. It would mean...
.....Admitting that she's really gone...." she says brokenly as she sits on the ground and hugs a Crystal
"....Everyone is already acting like she doesn't matter. It's like no one remembers her. No one cares.... " she shouts tearing up
"...We're having a coronation because she's gone, and everyone is acting like it's a fun party and it's not" she finished sadly
We look at each other and kneel in front of her
"Of course it's not. I just thought talking about it... About her. It hurts..." Adora says sadly
"... I'm supposed to take care of you, Glimmer. It's the last thing she asked me to do.....
.....I wanted to make today perfect. But I.." she continues but Bow speaks
"We just don't know what to do" he says honestly but sad
"I don't know either. But maybe we can still figure it out. Together" she says sweetly
"Always Glim.... No matter what, we'll have your back" I whisper sweetly to her
"Whatever path you choose, we'll always be there, right beside you" Adora continues sweetly as she place a hand on Glimmer's knee and she smiles
"Even if that path leads to a giant crystal monster?" She asks jokingly
"Especially if the path leads to a giant crystal monster" Adora giggles back
"It wouldn't be the craziest thing be have fought" I joke and they laugh
"Nothing we can't handle. We're great at quests" Bow says happily
"Then come on. Let's do this" she shouts confidently and we cheer
Adora transforms into Shera and we run outside
I create a blast and hit it again. Bow shoots his arrows at it and Shera tries to tame it by turning the sword into a net and place it over its mouth
Sadly the creature shakes her off and pushes Bow and me away
"Hey! Over here!" Glim screams getting the Monster's attention
"Glimmer!" Bow screams afraid
"Glim get out of there" I scream desperately
"Run!" Adora shout afraid
"No!!! I'm Queen Glimmer of Bright Moon and you will leave my friends alone" Glim says proudly and strong as she places the lantern in the altar
The creature calms down and walks away
Glimmer starts glowing and floating. It looks like she is finally accepting the moonstone full powers, going down as our new Queen
Glimmer's PoV
"Glimmer?" a voice I never thought I would hear again says lovingly so I turn around
"Mom?" I whisper brokenly afraid that if I scream she would leave me again
I walk to her and reach my hand to take hers but it just goes through
"Glimmer, You are walking in the footsteps of all those who have come before us...." my mom speaks again sweetly
"...Now, my darling, it's your turn. I wish I didn't have to leave you. But I know you will be alright.....
......Because you are Glimmer and you are so so strong..." she continues proudly and I giggle
I gasp when I feel a hand on mine and I turn to look at Shera holding it and Bow my other
I feel two hands on my shoulders and a light pressure on my head. (Y/N) has place her chin softly on my head
".... I have done my best to prepare you to rule, but you were always ready to lead....
....I am so proud of you, Glimmer....
I love you" my mom finished full of emotions in the last frase
"I love you too mom" I whisper sadly but full with love
"You okay, Your Majesty?" Bow asks lowly
"As long as you three are with me, I am. Now come on, let's get out of here" I say sweetly as I grab their hands and teleports us back to the castle
When we arrive, we are surprised with how different the party looks like
"This place looks amazing!" I gasp amazed
"We wanted it to be perfect for you" Frosta says happily
"So we worked together to finish" Perfuma continues
"That was my idea" Mermista smirks making us laugh
"Glimmer, it's time" Aunt Casta says to me
"You got this... You Highness" (Y/N) whispers lovingly but jokingly at me, making me giggle
'I'm sure she will keep calling me like that'
I look at my friends and they smile brightly to me. I sigh and make my way to the throne... My mother's throne
I turn around looking at everyone in the room
"I'm here today because Queen Angella.... my mother, sacrificed herself to save Etheria..." I say sadly but hiding it
"....We can't let her bravery be in vain. But there's so much we still need to do...
.... Hordak is still in power, and we know there's an even larger Horde army out there somewhere..." I says strongly and I hear people gasp worry
"....We can't let them win. It's time for us to take back our home. Together we will push out the Horde, once and for all!" I finished exited and optimistic
The whole room cheers and celebrates. I see my friends happy faces celebrating too
"Yeah! Wooo!" I hear Bow shout exited
"Yeah Glimmer" (Y/N) screams happily
'Mom.... I'm not letting your sacrifice go in vain.... I will stop the horde...
.... No matter what it takes....
...I will finish this war...
For our people.... For our family....
For Etheria....
I swear I'm not letting you down....
.....I'm going to make you proud mom'
