Hey everyone! Sorry for missing last week's update. My course load is pretty heavy this semester, but I'm trying to make due. I hope you're all doing well and enjoy! :)

"Well, I better get going now," Logan mentioned, glancing at his phone.

I turned on my phone as well to see my lock screen glow back at me, reading; 3:23a.m.

"Oh wow, yeah," I mumbled out, throwing it back onto my bed.

As I reeled my arm back in, I caught a glance of what I was wearing, doing a double take before my face heated up.

"Oh my goodness, I can't believe I'm wearing pajamas right now. I'm sorry, I didn't have time to change...I mean you kind of just showed up out of nowhere and - well actually I completely forgot I was even wearing them until now," I thought out loud, attempting to explain myself.

He smiled as a laugh escaped his lips.

"Don't worry about it. It's actually a pretty cool shirt - 'Junior Jewels', eh?" he read off, looking up at me.

"Yeah...everybody got one for classmates to sign at the end of last year, although I did some customizations to mine," I responded with a small laugh in embarrassment.

His eyes widened, as he took a closer look at my shirt.

"You did that?"

"Not all of it, just the lines around the 'Junior Jewels' and the triangles around the collar, sleeves and bottom."

"Huh," he breathed out. "Well...I'm off."

"Okay - wait, how are you going to get out? I don't know if I could get you out the front door without my parents hearing..."

"Oh, that's all good. I'll just go out the window," he answered with a shrug.

I stared at him for a few seconds.

"You're joking, right?" I asked flatly.

"Nope," he responded with a laugh.

"What?! Logan!" I raised my voice, worried, not even considering the fact that I could wake my parents or Avery.

I watched him raise a finger to his lips, silently telling me to be quiet with a wink, before grabbing the window sill in one swift movement and climbing over the edge.

He then twisted himself so he was facing the side of the house, and walked himself a few steps down it, still holding onto the sill before jumping.

As soon as he let go I raced over to the window, eyes wide and breathing fast.

When I finally looked down, Logan was standing below on the grass, looking back up at me with a grin on his face.

"Thanks for the talk, Harper! You always know how to cheer me up!" he called, cupping his mouth.

A smile slowly formed on my face as I felt my face heat.

"Anytime," I called back, waving as he made his way back to his house.

I stayed leaning on the window sill as I watched his retreating figure, letting out a large sigh.

"What in the world are you doing?"

I jumped, turning around quickly to find my mom, half asleep and annoyed - never a good combination.

"I...couldn't sleep, so I thought I would open the window..."

She looked at me funny until I could see her face fall in defeat, running a hand down it.

"Well, I woke up from a noise, but I don't really care what it was anymore. Just be quiet please," she mumbled out, already shuffling back to bed.

"Okay, sorry," I whispered back, turning towards the window once again.

Although Logan was now out of sight, I couldn't stop the smile that slowly creeped back onto my face, making my way back into my now cold bed, before drifting back off to sleep.
