*Xylo's pov*
Ok so I'm standing here with four mages and two of my friends. Lychee and Magnus know some of the story already and I'm going to be honest it's a very complicated thing to explain. Here let's just go back really quickly and just review what I did before I had to send Nad to the underworld which I know my father won't be happy about but what can you do.
*Several Minutes earlier*
*Inmo's pov*
I can't believe this. Now I know I'm a new person I shouldn't be afraid but demons and dragons aren't my forte. I sighed as I came into a clearing, I thought back to when the dragon came crashing into the guild meeting area. Ritchie and Brandon where up there and even if they are sometimes mean they accepted me even if I was playing... Dumb.
I walked and soon enough I heard voices. I came over and looked down and I saw Davis, Viper, and Ritchie down there talking. I smiled and I was about to hop down but I stopped. I gently reached up and touched my hat. I took it off and looked at it. Not yet no one can know yet I'm not ready for them to find out. I put the hat on the end railing and then used an explosion and yelled as I fell down and landed.
"What the-...Inmo!? What are you doing here I thought I told everyone to stay at the island and you where supposed to be locked in the vault!" Ritchie said
"Listen, listen, Mr Ritchie my concern was great so I came to help!" I said proudly
"Your an idiot." Ritchie said
"At this point we might as well except his help. We need as much power as we can get, without it we might be too weak. Especially if the future Ritchie is possibly wandering around." Viper said
"Still I'm surprised we survived that fall. It was pretty far down" Davis said
"You guys are tough though" I said with proud confidence.
"Ya but there's only so much we can do." Viper said
"What do we got here?" I looked over to see a man with a small beard and a sort of nice suit.
"Who the hell are you? And what are you doing here" Ritchie asked
"Oh I'm sorry that I'm currently going through and killing off demons, guild leader Ritchie." The man said
"Well I don't have to do introductions." Ritchie said
"Ya anyway just call me Mitch"
"Ok, and your out in the city killing demons." Viper said
"That would be correct." Mitch said
"Guys can we get a moving this is a very crowded area." Davis said and we all started walking.
I felt something warm in my hands and I look down and I saw my hat or should I say a tattoo of my hat on my wrist. I hid it from view and continued to walk. Ritchie, Mitch, Viper, and Davis were all talking. Well Davis didn't really talk much but it was more then me.
We came to a bigger area and Ritchie started arguing a bit about something with Mitch. It wasn't until a bit too late we realized a dragon was coming at us. We barely had time to dodge as it's big claws hit the ground. It slowly turned around and roared at us.
"Oh great!" Viper yelled before pulling out his scythe.
The dragon roared at us and Viper attacked first. It didn't take long for the rest of us to also start attacking
I'm not much of a fighter but ever since I gained this explosion magic I've been a bit more confident in attacks. However, I got knocked back into Ritchie before Ritchie could send an attack and he pushed me off him.
"Oh come on get up! Don't let that dragon bat you down." Viper yelled as I got up.
We had ourselves going all out Ritchie was in his demon lightning form, Viper had dragon force activated, and Davis looks like he's having an extremely hard time controlling his. Me and Mitch where the only ones who didn't really have a form. I got up and attacked but when I attacked my arm got a bit scratched by Viper's attack.
"Hey! Watch where you're going you idiot!" Viper yelled and I landed on the ground.
I looked down at the ground then I looked up and the group. I don't know why but something snapped. I'm not going to take it anymore.
I held out my hand and my hat reappeared into my hand.
"What the- Inmo!? What are you doing get out of there!" Ritchie yelled
"No" I said
"What? Are you defying my orders? Listen get back here so you don't get hurt!" Ritchie yelled as he pointed at a place behind all of them
"No....no no no no no no. NO!" I yelled as I placed my hat on my head.
"You absolute idiot!" Viper yelled as I walked up to him and slapped him across his face.
"Enough! I'm tired of all of you calling me an idiot. Yes I acted like one, only because I didn't want to be betrayed again! I've never liked humans your one of many people I hate Viper. Ritchie your no better everyone in the damn Divinus Magia guild treats me like a friend but at the same time a moving target and I'm tired of it!" I yelled pushing Viper back and walked over to Ritchie and yelling in his face
"Inmo... What's gotten into you?" Ritchie asked shocked
"Nothing Ritchie. This is just the true me." I said as the dragon roared I looked over at it and I grew furious.
"You can shut up!" I yelled as I walked back in the direction of the dragon.
I walked, then I sprinted, then I ran. I ran and then I teleported. I could feel the warm glow that I felt when I first teleported for the first time in such a long time. I raised my hands up and held it in a position to attack as if I was holding something. Before I could realize it I had something in my hand.
I struck down into the dragons eyes and slashed it right through before teleporting to it's other eye. It shook furiously but that didn't stop me from stabbing the other eye.
I exploded off the dragon as the blast made it ram it's head into the ground. I landed and I could feel everyone's eyes on me. I looked down at my hand and saw my dagger. The same one I had when I was a demigod. I looked up just in time to see a shadow and I saw Xylo.
"Begone you vial beast may the underworld take care of you!" Xylo said and and I black portal which I recognized as the portal to the underworld open up. The dragon began to sink through and I watched. The dragon fully sunk and Xylo stood where the dragon once was. Breathing heavily Xylo looks up at us. Well more specifically me.
"Inmo? That's really you right? I recognize that hat and magic anywhere." Xylo said walking over.
"I-...Xylo" I said and Xylo hugged me.
"It's so good to see you again buddy!" Xylo said.
"What the hells going on Inmo you have a lot of explaining" Ritchie said with a very serious look.
"No I don't. It's a simple thing. My name is Inmo I'm the son of the Greek god Hermes, I died and I came back to life here with all my memories" I said
"Wait your a demigod?" Mitch asked everyone shocked besides him
"I won't count myself as one by now." I I trailed off
"Hey Inmo because I know your going to ask but,... Bonjo is doing great." Xylo said and I looked at him. I felt some tears form as I smiled.
"Thank you Xylo" I said before someone else came. More specifically Lychee.
"Xylo there you are! We need you! Nad's gone berserk and it's target is the S.R!" Lychee yelled
"Oh you got to be kidding... Alright let's go!" Xylo yelled after he groaned at the information
"I have to go, but we have a lot to catch up on." Xylo said to me before he shadow stepped away.
"I'm going I have to check up on something." Davis said and he storm blinked away.
"Well this was eventful." Mitch said
"Ya and Inmo you have a lot of explaining. Because I don't get it." Ritchie said calming down
"I would hit you but I guess you did good." Viper said going back to normal.
