Peter crawled into his room through the window. He closed it as quietly as he could and turned around.
The lamp on his nightstand turned on and May looked at him with her brow raised.
"I hope you have a good explanation."
"I-I was with Mr Stark and I-uh-swung here," Peter squeaked out.
Tony spun around on Peter's chair and faced him with an un-amused look.
"Wanna try again?"
Peter sighed and his shoulders slumped. His one-size too big t shirt slid revealing a few bruises on his collar bone.
"Are those hickeys?!" May questioned in surprise.
Peter flushed and pulled his t shirt up. "It's nothing."
"Who was it Peter?" Tony asked.
He turned a shade darker and mumbled a name.
"What was that?"
"Ned."
Tony and May were quiet. They didn't know what to say to that.
"We'll talk about this tomorrow," May said and she and Tony walked out.
