Dawn sat dead eye staring at the wall in front of her not even acknowledging Kol hoping that he would disappear
"c'mon darling you carnet ignore me forever" Kol said interrupting the awkward silence
"watch me" Dawn said with no emotion like it was out of her control, she started to think why she spoke like that I mean it was Kol-
'no, no you don't have any feelings for Kol' Dawn thought to herself 'not anymore'
Kol just sighed defeated after 28 hours in the room of Kol trying to talk to her. he was about to shout Freya to lift the spell long enough so he could get out, but Dawn moved her head to look at him there eyes caught each others, her ocean blue eyes connecting with his chocolate brown eyes memories started flashing in her head but one specific memory

Kol and Dawn was walking along a river that wasn't to far from their village, hand in hand a nice breeze brushed passed them and Dawn giggled as Kol's long hair fell in front of his face. they stopped and she stood in front of him and tucked his hair behind his ear
"I'm pretty sure that that's my job" Kol looked down slightly so he could maintain eye contact with Dawn. she raised her eyebrows
"really and what's that" Dawn teased
"well being the romantic and tucking the hair out of your face so it wasn't in your face" Kol listed and smirked
"mmm" Dawn hummed and wrapped her arms around his waist and buried her face into his chest "well I think the walk along the river at night in the moonlight with millions and millions of stars dancing around us, is pretty romantic" Dawn said softly with a small smile
"hmm I guess your right" Kol agreed, his arms was now around her shoulders "but what could make this romantic walk even better is-" Kol stopped speaking for a moment and looked off into the distance "wait what's that?" Kol asked and Dawn turned around to see what he was talking about
"I don't see anything Kol-" Dawn said now turning back to see Kol on one knee and a silver band with a nice pattern on but nothing to fancy "Kol?"
"Dawn Elodie will you do me the honour of officially being mine always and forever?" Kol asked with a huge smile and a smile also erupted onto Dawns face and she started nodding rapidly
"yes, yes, yes of course yes"
a happy chuckle came from Kol and he stood up and spun her around laughs coming from both of them knowing that nothing could ruin this moment, this was theirs. Kol kissed her intensely and after a while they pulled away but they kept their heads touching staring into each others eyes enjoying the moment.
Kol reached his thumb to her face and wiped away some of the stray tears that had left Dawns eyes, she hadn't even noticed.
after a while they sat down next to the river Kol was legs crossed while Dawns head laid on his legs, she was admiring the ring on her finger with a smile her eyes travelled to Kol who was just staring at her in awe.
never had he seen anything so perfect, and she was his.
"so my name" Dawn started "Dawn Mikaelson" Dawn said seeing how it would sound "or Dawn Elodie-Mikaelson?" she asked
"what ever you want my love" Kol smiled at her he was so vulnerable at this moment, he was so in love
"hmmm" Dawn started thinking and she looked at him "Dawn Elodie-Mikaelson because I'm the only child my mother and father have so I would like to carry the name on" Dawn smiled not even realising about what she had just said
Kol raised an eyebrow "carry the name on?" Kol asked with a teasing smirk and Dawn finally realised and suddenly became every red and flustered
"w-well if you want to have kids someday" Dawn said nervously and Kol never said anything but kissed her but he didn't need to say anything she had her answer "but bear in mind I already have the names picked out because knowing you, you would pick something really weird" Dawn teased and Kol put his hand to his heart in fake offence and Dawn chuckled.
They stayed together in the same spot until the sun painted the sky with different shades of reds, oranges and some pink right up to blue.
"Diana" Dawn said suddenly confusing Kol, tears started leaking from her eyes uncontrollably "that's what I was going to name her" she said referring to the baby girl that they were going to have "I was on my way to tell you but M-Mikael found me a-a-and" Dawn couldn't finish because of sobs that admitted from her mouth
Kol walked over to her and held her "I killed them Kol" Dawn sobbed "I'm a monster" Dawn exclaimed in hatred of herself not once in a million years did she want to hurt another human being like she had
"your not a monster Dawn, you had no emotions" Kol reassured sad for her but slightly happy that her emotions were back and the Dawn he loved was back

Klaus, Elijah, Rebekah, Hayley, Freya and hope were all down stairs talking not hearing what was happening up stairs
"what was Dawn like before all of this" Freya asked referring to her emotions being off she didn't get to spend that much time with her before all off it, Hayley's head popped over to the 3 sibling also curious
"well" Elijah started off "she was kind, amazing and obviously beautiful"
"yes she was rarely angry but when she was she was scary" Klaus added dragging on the 'y' on scary
"once Kol and our father, Mikael, was cutting wood and our father had done something wrong but blamed it on Kol and shouted at him and Dawn stood up and slapped him in the face and told him off and Mikael didn't say anything afterwards because she was right" Rebekah told and they all laughed at the thought of Mikael getting told off by the innocent Dawn
"well he had it coming" a familiar voice said from behind them, it was Dawn and Kol. Kol looked happy and Dawn looked sad and drained but never- the-less she had a small smile on her face.
all five of the stood up from the sofa that they were sitting on "Dawn?" Rebekah asked with hopeful eyes and Dawn nodded rapidly and she ran up to Nik, 'Lijah and Bekah she hugged them all at the same time and then separately "wow Kol, you actually did it" Bekah teased her older brother
"of course I did she couldn't resist my sexy charm for long" Kol boasted with a smirk on his face but they all scrunched their noses up in slight disgust except Dawn who just laughed and rolled her eyes "see" Kol pointed at Dawns reaction but they all ignored him "wow, I get Dawns humanity back but not a thankyou" Kol huffed "what a family I have" he said sarcastically
"thankyou Kol" they all coursed together mocking him slightly
"well it was nothing really" Kol brushed it off and walked behind Dawn and wrapped his arms around her waist, hugging her from behind
suddenly they heard a crying noise coming from behind them, Dawn walked over to hope and placed her on her hip and started bouncing her while shushing her. Dawn had been playing with Hope for Half and hour while the others were talking but she was to busy to hear what they were saying
"she's a natural" Freya said smiling looking at Dawn and Hope
"yeah she is" Kol smiled sadly thinking about what they could've had and what can now never have "Diana" Kol said repeating what Dawn had said to him up stairs, they all looked at him confused "that's what she was going to name our baby girl"
"I'm so sorry Kol" Rebekah said putting a hand on his shoulder for comfort
after a while Hayley went over to the two and put Hope to sleep and Dawn went over to Klaus "I would like to see Camille" she asked sadly, she remembered what she had scarred her with and she wanted to take it away from her
"of course" Nik replied and he took her to Cami's apartment. he knocked on the door and saw a confused Cami because he never knocks but then Dawn came into frame and she was about to close the door Klaus stopped her "she isn't going to hurt you, she going to help you"
Cami hesitantly opened the door back open full and let them in "I'm so sorry for what I had you witness" Dawn said honestly but before Camille could say anything Dawn started humming making Cami once again come into that compelling statue "your going to forget what ever happened in the bar, your not going to be traumatized by it and your going to forget that Niklaus and I was here tonight" Dawn finished and Klaus quickly grabbed Dawn and vamp sped them out off their
They entered the compound to see just Kol waiting for Dawn and Klaus to return, Dawn walked up to Kol and grabbed his and and brought him to their bed room to were Dawn got dressed into a pyjama top and some shorts and Kol just left his boxes on and they got into bed holding each other
where they were always meant to be.
