to my darling love,
i've started spending alot time in my garden now, not because i feel caged in my room but because i miss you. i sit next to the amaranth and sangria dipped rosebush which you gifted me, silently hoping you walk back into my life. i water it everyday now, i can't let the only reminders of you wither and shrivel.
my heart soars a bit whenever my fingertips graze the satin rose petals, it gives me hope that you are still alive and breathing; thriving and growing amongst the brambles and thorns. i don't mind if the thorns pierce into my skin and dot it with crimson; it feels nice to be around something familiar and warm. i've started writing about whatever i know about my past on lavender scented pages but so far i've written only one word.
