Athanasia was inside Claude's office room . Claude was doing his work while Athanasia was reading some books .
' Daddy seems to do all the work by himself without anyone's help . Well he does use Felix sometimes but there isn't much he can do . He must be super busy but he always finishes his work on time.
Surprisingly he dresses up properly and shows his face at banquets , national holidays and royal birthdays . I know daddy isn't a tyrant but .... '
Athanasia thought as she stared at Claude who was busy doing his own work
" What is it ? "
Claude asked curiously after noticing Athanasia's stare that was on him for a long time
" Ah . I stumbled across a difficult question in my studies . "
Athanasia replied as she quickly made up a excuse and smiled
' I was staring too obviously '
Athanasia thought
" Hmmm .. would I normally help you study? "
Claude asked confusedly as he stood and turned his chair to face towards Athanasia
" Huh ? "
Athanasia said confusedly as she watched Claude turn his chair towards her and sit down
' Huh ?? What , he thought I was asking for help ? '
Athanasia thought confusedly meanwhile Claude glanced at the book infront of Athanasia and read the page .
" Is this the question that you found difficult ? "
Claude asked as he pointed towards it . Athanasia looked at the page for a second and nodded her head
" In this equation , you take the XXX of XXXX and substitute it with this equation... then take the unknown quantity .. "
Claude said as he tried his best to make his explanation simple and easy to understand for Athanasia. Claude explained as he wrote down the solution on the paper.
' wow , he's so good at it '
Athanasia thought as she listened to his explanation
" Still you are quite skilled for your age "
Claude complimented as he kept his pen down and glanced at Athanasia as he gave her the solution he wrote just now
" T-thanks you daddy !! "
Athanasia replied as she looked at the solution in amazement
' Wow !! A beautiful solution '
Athanasia thought happily. Suddenly a knock was heard and Athanese came inside the room while holding a huge stack of paper in his hands.
" Good afternoon father and good afternoon to you too Athy "
Athanese greeted as he smiled and walked towards them .
' I am sorry father but I am giving you a little more work '
Athanese thought as he placed the huge stack of paper on the desk .
" I have already checked them twice and all you need to do is decide whether these local governments should be provided more funds or not but I think only the countryside's local government need more funds because the crops production of this year is low on those areas. "
Athanese explained as he skillfully separated the files .
' Wow , now that to think of it Athanese also works everyday just like father does .... '
Athanasia thought in amazement as she watched Athanese seperate the files according to how important they are .
" So now , what were you two talking about ? "
Athanese asked as he pulled a chair towards the desk and sat next to Athanasia
" Oh ! Father was helping me with some questions "
Athanasia replied as she glanced at Athanese
" you take your studies quite seriously "
Athanese said as he looked at her notes
" Yeah , that's right "
Claude said as he glanced at the twins
" You don't have to try that hard "
Claude said as he leaned back on his chair
" Yeah , father's right Athy . You don't have to try that hard "
Athanese said as he smiled
" The same applies to you too , Athanese "
Claude said .
' Haha , that's true '
Athanasia thought as she wanted to laugh at Athanese's expression
" But-"
Athanese tried to protest but was quickly interrupted
" Daddy is right , Athanese ! After you enter that cave-.... I mean , after you enter your office it takes you days to come out from that place "
Athanasia said as she playfully scolded Athanese who chuckled in response.
" Is that so ? "
Athanese replied while tilting his head sideways
" Do you two like studying ? "
Claude asked curiously
" No but it's fun to be good at it ! "
Athanasia replied

Claude thought as he stayed silent for her to continue her words
" I really like it when everyone praises me !! "
Athanasia replied while smiling happily
" Yes , I really liked it when I learned something new and father patted my head-"
Athanese said but got interrupted when Claude suddenly patted his head out of nowhere.
" Eh "
Athanese said in confusion
" You said you liked it , didn't you ? "
Claude replied with a smile on his face.

Athanasia thought as she stayed silent and watched them. Meanwhile Athanese's cheeks blushed different shades of red due to embarrassment
" I - I mean , i-it does feel good "
Athanese replied while looking down from embarrassment .

Claude thought as he patted his head one more time and continued their conversation.
" So I heard you were learning about magic from Lucas "
Athanese said after clearing his throat
" Oh y-yeah "
Athanasia replied . Claude just stayed silent listening to thier conversation
" So what are you learning nowadays ? "
Claude asked
" Ah , that's right ! I will show you what I am practicing nowadays "
Athanasia thought as she brought her hands near the book and started to concentrate . Suddenly the book infront of her started floating .
" Woah.. success "
She said in amazement but suddenly the book started to flip around and was flying towards Claude's face quickly
' oh no '
Athanasia thought in shock but Athanese came to rescue and quickly used his magic to stop the floating book . The book stopped right infront of Claude's face.
' phew , nice save bro '
Athanasia thought as she sighed in relief
" Are you okay father ? "
Athanese asked as he let the book gently lay down infront of Claude and in response , Claude nodded his head. Claude started at the book for a few second .
" You are not using your magic correctly , you shouldn't be pushing it inside the objects but surround it and lift it "
Claude said as he made the book float and land infront of Athanasia
" Mm . Okay then "
Athanasia said as she tried to follow Claude's instructions. After a few seconds , the book started to float. Athanasia looked at Claude in amazement and smiled.
" I did it , Daddy !! "
Athanasia said happily
" Good job "
Claude replied while smiling , Athanasia's smile got wider when she saw Claude smiling.

Athanese thought as he smiled fondly while looking at them. Suddenly Claude felt a sharp headache and touched his forehead trying to ease the pain
" Daddy does your head hurt again ? "
Athanasia asked worriedly as she stood up from her seat
" You two should leave "
Claude said as he tried his best to hold in the pain
" Father , should I help you or should I call Lucas ? "
Athanese asked as he stood up from his seat and looked at Claude worriedly .
" No, just send that magician ..... You must be busy with your own work "
Claude replied
' even at this condition , he's worried about us '
Athanasia thought as she tugged Athanese's sleeves
" We should leave and call Lucas "
Athanasia whispered and Athanese nodded his head in response. Before leaving Athanese quickly collected Claude's paperwork and carried away most of Claude's work so that he could rest sooner.
' well ,I guess I am gonna pull another all-nighter '
Athanese thought as he worriedly glanced at Claude and left with Athanasia . Athanasia went to get Lucas while Athanese went to his office room since he had more extra work to do .
' ....... I wish I could have done something to help him '
Athanese thought as he felt guilty at the fact that he couldn't prevent Claude from losing his memories .

During the night time , Athanasia was sitting outside her balcony waiting for Lucas . After a few moments , Lucas suddenly appeared on the balcony
" Your daddy is sleeping "
Lucas said as he glanced at Athanasia
" Thank god I thought daddy was in pain again ...

Athanasia said as she sighed in relief
" No need to thank me "
Lucas replied
" Well it's late , good night "
Athanasia said as she went inside her room
" ... Good night "
Lucas replied while nodding his head
' should I tell her that he isn't doing well ??

Lucas thought as he looked at Athanasia
" Hey , do you know where Athanese should be right now "
Lucas asked
" I think he should be at his office today but why-"
Athanasia said as she was about to question him but before she could , Lucas disappeared out of thin air.
' I hope that shit head won't pull anything funny on my dearest little brother if he does then I hope he hits his oh so handsome face hardly on a pillar while walking !! '
Athanasia thought as she took a deep breath and sighed .

Inside , Athanese's office . Athanese was trying his best to stay awake while reading some documents

Athanese thought as he shook his head and sighed tiredly

Lucas said as he appeared infront of Athanese out of nowhere. Athanese just looked at his for a few second with a blank expression
" Well .... It seems like I am so sleep deprived that I have started hallucinating "
Athanese said as he rubbed his eyes and looked at the document in front of him while ignoring Lucas.
" Hey !!! I am real , you idiot "
Lucas said as he walked towards Athanese and glared at him
" Oh .......
Oh !?
It's you Lucas , what brings you here ? "
Athanese asked while smiling
" Tch .... It's already late at night and why are you still awake ? "
Lucas scolded
" Hehe , I had some work to do so.... "
Athanese replied while scratching his head and smiling . His hair was messy and looked more puffy than usual . His clothes were a little messed up .

Lucas thought as he tried his best not to blush
" Well , why don't we talk while sitting "
Athanese said as he stood up and walked towards the big couch in his office
" Come let's sit down and talk "
Athanese said as he pulled Lucas towards the couch
" Okay , okay "
Lucas said as he obediently sat down on the couch next to Athanese
" So , I assume you are here to talk about Father's condition ? "
Athanese asked as he frowned
" Yeah and like you thought , it's not getting better at all "
Lucas replied as he noticed Athanese's gloomy mood
" Do you think we should tell this to Athy ? "
Athanese asked as he kept his head down low
" I don't know "
Lucas replied as he shrugged his shoulder
" Athanasia will be worried when she hears about father's health condition so I would like to tell her when the time is right but... She is father's daughter and i don't think it's fair to keep her in the dark about father's condition.....
I don't know... what should I do ...."
Athanese said as he sighed feeling like crying
" If only I could help them "
Athanese muttered in a low voice but Lucas could hear them
' even thought I couldn't complete the series , I should have known .....

That time , I knew what was about to go wrong but I couldn't prevent it ....

Athanese thought as tears started to leave his eyes slowly. Lucas frowned and felt extremely hurt when he noticed Athanese's tears. He slightly moved forward and rubbed his tears .
" Huh ? "
Athanese said as he noticed he was crying and started to rub his eyes
" Huh .... Why am I crying "
Athanese said as he tried to stop his tears but couldn't. ... It only caused more to fall. Lucas wanted to hold the person infront of him and comfort him and so he did.
Lucas pulled Athanese into a hug while Athanese buried his face on his chest . Athanese cried there while sobbing silently. Lucas kept on rubbing circles on his back trying his best to comfort Athanese .
After some minutes , Athanese stopped crying and calmed down.
" Thank you , Lucas "
Athanese said as he broke away from the hug and smiled while Lucas smiled back in response . Lucas stared at Athanese's face for a few seconds and leaned near Athanese's face.
Lucas leaned forward and placed his hand under Athanese's chin . Then he leaned down and lightly pecked Athanese's lips.
' huh ? '
Athanese thought as he looked at Lucas , Lucas's lips were still on top of his
' HUH ? '
Athanese blushed as he realized Lucas just kissed him and on top of that this was his first kiss.

Lucas thought as he pulled away and smirked at the sight of Athanese's blushing face
" Y-you.... Y-you "
Athanese tried to protest but he couldn't choose his words and ended up blushing again from embarrassment
" I will take it as my thank you gift , see ya "
Lucas said as he glanced at Athanese and teleported out of his office .

Lucas thought as he covered his mouth while blushing
' his lips were so soft '
Lucas thought as he placed his fingers on top of his lips and blushed .
' I will just walk back to my room '
Lucas thought as he absentmindedly walked towards his room and came across a pillar which he couldn't see at the moment due to being lovestruck .
And as expected his head hit hardly on the pillar .
" Ouchhh !! "
Lucas grunted in pain as he rubbed his head .
