Three weeks. That's how long after that brisk kiss until you saw Bela again. She was dragging someone into the cell across from yours when you noticed her -- your [E/C] eyes stuck to her form the entire time. Once she turned to leave, your eyes locked and for a brief moment it looked like she wanted to come closer to your cell. You knew you weren't going to survive much longer, especially now that they had fresh blood, but seeing her had made your week. She stood there for another beat before disappearing in a swarm of insects, leaving you alone with her new prey. Minutes turned into hours before the man across the way woke up -- alerting you by freaking out and yelling for someone to release him. The sound of insects filled the cellar and caused you to sigh, your gaze watching all three sisters step into the light.
"The new meat is awake!" Daniela, the youngest as you had found out, cheered.
"He's a lively one too." Cassandra hummed, gripping the cell bars.
Your eyes soon landed on Bela, whom had already been staring at you, and your gaze immediately glanced away from her. Within the three weeks, you had been remembering the encounters you had with the oldest sister and had developed a small crush on her. You heard a hand slam on your cell, effectively earning your attention.
"What do we do with this one now?" Daniela asked, a wide grin on her face. "They're too cute to kill and I'd miss their screams."
You groaned internally at her second comment, your eyes half-lidded as you fought to stay awake. Bela made her way to her sister's side and whispered something to her, earning a huff and a quiet mumble that almost sounded like 'You always want the cute ones'. Cassandra pulled Daniela away from your cell, leaving Bela standing at the entrance of it.
"If you try to run, I'll kill you." Bela threatened, opening your cell door and walking towards you.
"Even if I wanted to, I'm too weak." You countered, ensuring you wouldn't even be able to run when she uncuffed you and you nearly collapsed.
Bela clicked her tongue before dragging you out of the cellar in her swarm of insects. Once you stopped, you were in a bedroom. She didn't even give you the chance to question her before a metal collar was secured around your throat and her sickle was pressed against your cheek. The two of you stayed like that for a moment, staring into each others eyes before she set her sickle down, finally understanding that you weren't going to try to break free.
"Why didn't you kill me?" You asked softly, keeping your hands at your side so she didn't reach for her sickle again.
You were met with silence until she leaned in and nuzzled into your neck, taking a deep breath. Her hands gripped your wrists and she was surprisingly gentle with you, she didn't even sink her fangs into your neck like you had thought she would've.
'Gods, this is going to drive me insane.'
"Your heart is racing," She giggled, moving her hands from your wrists to snake her arms around your waist. "Why do you care why I didn't kill you?"
"Because Cassandra has talked about killing me for the last week." You muttered, earning another giggle from her.
"She wants to kill you for another reason," She hummed, tilting her head to look at your face. "Because you're my pet now. Those two don't take care of their pets so mother said I could have you."
"Where have you been?"
The question left you before you could even think about it. She went silent shortly after, moving so you were now face-to-face with her. You internally braced yourself, expecting her to grab her sickle and slice you for asking a question like that -- but nothing came. Her gaze dropped to your lips before her eyes locked with yours again, a soft sigh passing her dark colored lips, drawing your attention to them.
"I don't have to explain anything to you."
"Of course, my lady." You sighed in defeat, finally glancing around the room.
For the most part, the room was organized; a comfortable looking bed in the corner farthest from the window, the metal piece on the wall connected via chain to your collar, a simple bedside table with an open book on it. You were brought out of your examination of the room by Bela guiding you to the bed, forcing you to sit down. Your [E/C] gaze landed on the wall behind her, noticing the shackles she could've put you in.
"Why give me more room?"
"Shut up." She growled, grabbing your chin and forcing you to look at her.
'I guess she realized I'm avoiding looking at her.'
Bela leaned forward, her lips grazing yours. Your heart skipped a beat and you tried to ignore the smirk on her face when it happened, just hoping to feel her lips on yours again. She held you two there for a while, making sure you couldn't close the gap even though you desperately wanted to. A whine passed your lips and that urged her to connect them with hers.
A relieved sigh left you as you immediately returned the kiss. The kiss stayed like that, soft and innocent as if both of you were afraid to push it farther. She slowly pulled away, pressing kisses along your jaw and down your neck, stopping just above your collar. Another kiss was placed on the spot before you felt her fangs sink into your skin, earning a whimper once more for her.
Your hands moved to her hips as she drank from you, your eyes shutting slowly. Once she pulled away and was finished licking up any excess blood, she made you lay down, gold eyes glued to your tired frame.
"I'll get you some food and water," She whispered, brushing a strand of hair away from your face. "And once you've recovered from everything, you'll get to see what being my pet is all about."
"Thank you, lady Bela." You hummed, opening your eyes just enough to look at her. "I hope I'll be sufficient but, why me?"
"I like your blood." She giggled, disappearing into her swarm of flies again.
'Of course, my blood. It's always my blood for them.'
You internally sighed, closing your eyes once more. The next thing you knew, you were being shaken awake by Bela, noticing a soft smile on her face.
'What's she smiling like that for? I've never seen either sister smile like this before.'
Once she noticed you were awake, the smile disappeared and she helped you sit up, handing you a plate of food. As you ate, you felt her eyes on you the entire time and finally glanced at her, your gaze landing on her smile once more. 'There it is again...'
"You're cute when you're tired," She hummed, moving to sit next to you. "And you look so peaceful when you're asleep. I'm going to enjoy having you as a pet."
"So that's what that smile is about..." You murmured after finishing your food, grabbing your glass of water. "I would've never guessed that."
Bela scoffed and moved closer to you once the wind outside picked up, effectively making you glance towards the window. You set your plate down and leaned against the headboard, gently pulling her into you. She tensed for a moment before eventually relaxing into you, snuggling into your warmth and letting out a content sigh.
"Lady Bela."
"Hm?"
"Your kiss was cold."
That earned a laugh from the vampire, making you smile as you glanced down at her to lock eyes. She leaned up, giving you a quick peck before humming out a response.
"Funny, I was going to say your kiss was warm."
