Dedicated to Breyerfest literally being next month and only having $11.35 in my bank account, I thought I should make a update but I don't have any horses to update with so here's some Breyer tags from multiple sources - not all original creators are made clear so credit to whoever created them first, that I was not actually tagged in, as a distraction to fill the void of me stressing out about funding for Breyerfest 🙃 I sent in my preference list today as soon as I saw people posting about it so fingers crossed! 🤞
🌈 The Rainbow Breyer Tag 🌈
The point of this tag is to pick one horse from your collection to represent each color of the rainbow, best you can. Since I do not own any decorators (well 4 but they don't exactly fit this tag - wrong colors), I will be doing my best to represent the rainbow with realistic colored models!
Red - Anaya
Orange - Desiel (Rust In Peace)
Yellow - Solidago
Green - JCPENNY Parade of Breeds TW
Blue - JCPENNY Parade of Breeds Mustang
Indigo - Priscilla (Lithium)
Violet - Benelli

🥇 Model Horse Firsts Tag 🥇
This tag, simply put, is to answer questions about my firsts in the model horse hobby.
1.) First Breyer Model? Tie between Dapple grey pinto Morgan and black pinto scratching foal SM set and The Saddle Club four piece SM set, bought at same time.
2.) First Special Run? My first ever Club SR was Wolfgang from Stablemates Club 2017, and first ever Breyerfest SR was Oliver I believe with the four Single Day Stablemates as well.
3.) First Grail? Rainier 😍
4.) First model spent over $100 on? Darwin, I overpaid but honestly I don't regret it, he was well worth it!
5.) First model bought off a sales page? Chestnut pinto jumper SM, bought off Facebook and I actually paid the lady cash mail - which I now know ●NOT● to do
6.) First show you entered? Haven't entered any yet... yet.
7.) First conga started or completed? I try not to conga too much any more but for a while I had the full Mirado and Darwin Stablemate conga, not anymore lol Don't remember my first conga because they were all unintentional
8.) First regret made? Becoming addicted to an expensive hobby I **really** don't have the money for
9.) First brand of model horse collected? Breyer!
10.) First model that started it all? I don't really remembered having an "it" model to really kick-start my hobby, I just bought anything I could afford and it grew from there. But the first model I really remember "needing" was Primrose from the 2016 Stablemates Club, after seeing her unboxing video on YouTube then my attention grew to Club and Breyerfest horses.

🖤 7 Deadly Sins of Model Collectors 🖤
This tag is explaining my personal "deadly sins" in the model horse hobby.
1.) Greed: Least expensive model and most expensive model? Lease expensive model is probably one of the regular run single Stablemates, $5, and my most expensive is Lyric and matte Cheesecake I think, $150 each (I waayyy overpaid...), but I think I paid someone $175 but can't remember if it was for one model or several.
2.) Wrath: What model do you have a love/hate relationship with? Practically any tippy Stablemates. I hate walking by my shelves then one of my running TBs either falls off the shelf or creates a domino effect... I like the mold but it's such a pain.
3.) Gluttony: What is your favorite model? Favorite model in my collection is Jukebox Hero, favorite not in my collection is Duwamish 😭
4.) Sloth: What do you hate about your model horses? That they're so expensive and I have a hard time selling horses who I'm not even super attached to. I go back and forth between selling so many of my regular run horses but then don't and it's so annoying
5.) Pride: Model you are most proud of? Probably my "brindle" Desiel because he is fairly hard to come by and I spent a long time looking for him without paying a fortune.
6.) Lust: What do you look for in a new model? Close to LSQ quality, realistic but unusual coloring and markings, and preferably something on the rarer-ish side so limited runs unless there's a really nice regular run like Peptoboonsmal - he's probably one of the nicest regular runs I have seen.
7.) Envy: What is your biggest model horse Grail? Definitely Duwamish then Dundee, then Rainier. Duwamish takes top priority but honestly they're all pretty close.

🎖 Top 10 Rarest Model Horse Tag 🎖
This tag lists my rarest model horses from least rare to rarest, please don't think I'm intentionally trying to be snobby, I'm just doing this for fun. Plus my collection is pretty mild/mellow compared to others collections so I don't have anything crazy special.
1.) Primrose - Run of 1500
2.) Oscar - Run of 1500
3.) Sláinte Surprise - Run of 800
4.) VC Misty and Stormy - Run of 500
5.) Desiel (Rust In Peace) - Run of 375
6.) Glossy Appreciation IQH - 200-250
7.) Mini Me Madison - Run of 100
8.) Mini Me Mosaic - Run of 10
9.) Jukebox Hero - DAH OOAK
10.) Radioactive Lover - DAH OOAK
Honorable mentions - Fabio. I wanted to add him since there is no official number open to the public of how many were made but he sold out within just hours so I can't imagine too many of him out there. I would also include Sassy but more were made since people complained.
Technically 9 and 10 could be dropped down in rarity if people copied the exact same colors/patterns on the mold through the DAH program but enough people know it's sort of rude to do so, even though there is no copy right, so I'm not worried someone will directly copy them. Even though there is no copy right for these guys and there's nothing stopping you from copying them, it's rude to make a duplicate of someone's most prized horses in their collection. If you changed a face/leg marking at least then it'd be different enough but still a dump on someone else's creativity.

😤 Pet Peeve Tag 😤
Pretty self explanatory, things that make my eye twitch, or more then just twitch, in the hobby. None of this is meant to be hurtful, discriminating, or come across as I have a "holier-than-thou" attitude. Everyone has things that make them tick so if you fall under any of my following topics, please try not to take offense or feel attacked. I'm not trying to be hurtful or attack anyone.
1.) Using wrong color terms. I honestly can't stand when someone uses color terms that aren't accurate or completely made up just to make their horse sound fancier then it is. I know I'm guilty of using some outdated and inaccurate terms but now I know it's wrong it really bugs be. People labeling cremello horses as "white", or using "brindle", "lemonzilla", "isabella", "chocolate", "stawberry", "burnt",... none of these belong in equine terminology at all. Honestly it makes me want to do a color guide to help people who care about accuracy. Honesty call your horses at home whatever color you want, but when showing horses (model or real) PLEASE use accurate terms. It's a real kick to the face to people who actually do their research and spend time finding perfect references lose compared to a horse that won with an inaccurate color assignment - that honestly shouldn't have won for that reason.
2.) Positioning models in anatomically incorrect poses. People who stand their non rearing horses in rearing positions or stand rearing horses like they're running... why?? I understand if your shelves aren't tall enough to stand them normally but for model photography it does not look good or natural, which defeats the whole purpose.
3.) Price shaming. Second hand market for models is a crazy crazy place, and I know some prices aren't fair which is really annoying but price shaming does literally nothing for the second hand market. You're not changing anything and you're just being rude. People are allowed to ask whatever they think their models are worth, doesn't always mean someone will buy it and then usually prices go down. But not by slamming on someone about prices.
4.) Limited Edition hogs. People should collect what they want to collect, glad on them for having the financial support to own some of the more rare models. Yet people who purchase multiple of the same horse just to hoard them really tick me off. There's a person on Facebook who showed their collection of 8+ original finish Alborozo models! I understand two or three for variations or sales in the future but over eight of the exact same horse in Limited quantity is so irritating to me. I've come to the conclusion I'll never be able to afford an Alborozo as much as I'd love to have him but it still gripes me seeing people hoard.
5.) Complaining that "there's not enough for everyone" - referring to Limited/Special Runs. If anything bothers me the most on this list, it's that so many people complain that Limited Edition models aren't widely available to everyone... that's the whole point! They are not supposed to be easily available for anyone and everyone, making more defeats the whole purpose of having limited editions. "They should make enough for everyone in the Club"... no. No they shouldn't. You are ruining the experience of owning rarer models for so many people by demanding Breyer makes enough for everyone. I have been extremely fortunate to get the models I have, and while not the rarest, I take pride in them. I want to focus on limited runs and then having people want limited or special Edition horses to be made that regular runs is ridiculous. It absolutely sucks when you're not able to get a rare horse you want but don't wreck it for other people by complaining so much Breyer feels pressured to make more like Sassy from the Collector's Club... enough people complained how fast she sold out so Breyer made more. Same with Breyerfest horses, the numbers increase each year of every special run and aren't that rare anymore, but still bear the hefty price tag. All models are practically first come first served and if you aren't happy with that then buy one second hand, just expect to pay a pretty penny depending on the horse.

Enough tags, no drama, just take a deep breath. That last park got a bit Rocky lol Again, I wasn't trying to target anyone and make anything personal so please forgive me if I did. With Breyerfest next month, what are you most excited about? Are you "attending" and what horses are you going to/try to get? I can't wait because I just added *more* shelves to my room! I spray painted them, not the prettiest job, and need to figure out a good way to hide the metal frame but I'm excited to have more room for more ponies!
