"She text me all out of the blue. Like for what?" I told benji while I poured some milk into kyran's cup and closed it
"You text back?"
I shook my head and went over to the table where Kyran sat eating pieces of a waffle I cut up for him. I sat the cup down and he dropped the waffle he was eating to grab the cup
"You not gonna say thank you?"
"No" he rudely responded and started drinking the milk
"You gone be that one child of mine that don't have friends cause you mean" I told him and benji walked over to the table sitting down and sat kinsley on his lap
"Hendrix still sleep?"
"Yeah" I answered "ion know what they be doing to my baby but he be tired as hell ever since he started daycare"
"They probably be giving his ass some melatonin"
"I wish they would. I'll fuck that school up bout my baby"
"Ion know why you got him going"
"Cause" I said, still standing up "Hendrix needs to learn to socialize with other kids his age"
"For what? He'on like people"
"No. YOU don't like people. Just cause he look like you don't mean he act like you"

"Okay baby daddy" I rolled my eyes as he slapped me on my ass hard as hell

"I don't even know benji. What do you think I should do?"
"Nahhh don't ask me cause 1. You ain gone like my answer and 2. That's yo decision. Ion want nobody blaming me for shit"
"Well ion know cause lani really did hurt my feelings with that shit.. but it's like at the same time I forgave London when she did me dirty"

Yasmine walked into the kitchen fully dressed for the day with her hair still up in that bun
"Umm, Hendrix is standing in the hall upstairs"
"He just standing there?" I asked, raising my eyebrow and she nodded
"He was walking out of y'all room when I came out and he just stood there staring at me and when I tried to help him come downstairs he slapped my hand away and just stood there looking like he wanted to fight me"
"What I told you? He don't like people" benji chuckled
"Yes he do.. he just gotta get used to you Yasmine"
I walked out of the kitchen and went upstairs to Hendrix seeing him go back in his room
"Hendrix"
He turned around and walked over to me
"That girl momma"
"That girl is auntie Yasmine"
"No.. I not know her momma"
"You got to get to know her.. come on" I grabbed his hand and walked downstairs with him. Once we got into the kitchen Hendrix side eyed Yasmine before going over to the table and sat down
"You want cereal?"
Hendrix nodded and I looked at Yasmine
"Hold one. We gone leave after I fix his cereal"
Benji shot his head in my direction "the hell y'all going?"
"To mj. And I'm taking kinsley too so mj can braid her hair"
"Mama you want yo hair braided?" Benji asked kinsley who just sat on his lap eating and looked back at him smiling
"I'm glad you think she get to make that decision"
"Cause she do"
"How long y'all been together?" Yasmine asked while I fixed Hendrix his cereal
"5 years"
"Five LONG ass years" I heard benji say so I took one of the twins cups that was sitting on the counter and threw it at the back of his head making him look back at me
Once I finished Hendrix's cereal I sat it in front of him at the table and benji looked at Yasmine
"Whatchu lookin like you scared to move for?"
"I-"
"Shut up Benji" I cut Yasmine off from even explaining herself to that ass "I told you he a natural asshole but you'll get used to it"
I then picked up my keys off of the table and walked over to benji
"We'll be back baby" I kissed him
"Be careful with my daughter"
"I know what to do with my child"
I grabbed kinsley from him and she looked down at him with her bottom lip poked out
"Dada"
"Girl you'll see him later, come on" I told her while leaving the kitchen and Yasmine followed behind me

"Here kin" Azaria handed kinsley one of her dolls and kinsley started pulling at the arms of the Barbie, almost breaking it
"Stop kin" I tried to grab the doll but she snatched it back
"No" she yelled and Azaria looked over at me
" it's okay auntie Kay. I got that one for her"
"Well if she break it ima have her daddy but you another one" I assured her then looked at mj doing Yasmine's hair
"How you get Azaria?"
"I did her hair earlier and I told Keyshawn I'd watch her while he went to get his hair cut"
"Oh he got her?"
She nodded "on the weekends London let him get her. I'm glad they can handle shit like adults now"
"Tell me about it" I agreed
Mj ran the flat iron trough the section of Yasmine's hair and curled it
"Girl you got some pretty ass hair. It's so healthy and long"
"Thanks to my momma" Yasmine laughed a little, scratching the bridge of her nose
"Kay I can't believe you a whole big sister bitch."
"Me either, but I think I can fuck with it"
"How old are you?" She asked Yasmine
"17. I'll be 18 June 24th"
"And look. She is you when you first moved out here. Except you were already 18"
I nodded, rubbing my lips together before sitting back in the chair
"Thank you for reminding me. So I know to keep you away from all drug dealers"
"You know you ain even gotta worry bout that. Benji bout to have all eyes on her like a hawk" mj told me and Yasmine rose her eyebrow
"On me?"
"Cause you lil sis now babygirl. And you ain even met the rest of the gang yet. You got Meechie and shy, they gone be on yo ass making sure don't nobody come near you either"
I looked out the glass window of the shop "speaking of.. there go my brother right there"
I smiled as Meechie and Ari walked into the shop. Meechie carried packs of hair while Ari was eating Wendy's
"Hey brother"
"Thee goat is here. Don't get too excited"
Ari rolled her eyes while drinking from her cup
"Why Ari look so aggravated?" Mj laughed
"Let her finish eating then she'll be Ight"
"Meesh!" Kinsley smiled while throwing the doll down and stood up in the chair
"Wassup twin!" Meechie picked her up and she laid her head on him while Ari sat down in the chair beside me and I smiled
"What?" she asked
"That baby getting to you huh?"
"Girl what! I ain ate this much before a day in my life. And my life is FOOD. I'm barely pregnant and I'm ready for it to be over already" Ari complained and mj looked over at us
"You pregnant?"
Me, Ari and meechie all looked at her and Ari nodded
"9 weeks along"
"Oh. Congratulations" she smiled
"Thank you"
Even though mj wore that smile on her face I could tell she was a little hurt but I wasn't gonna bring it up in front of anybody. Instead ima just pull her to the side later and talk to her but trust me, I knew that she was hurting
