The Villain: "You called me Host... your a new system. What happened to the last one?"
The little system suddenly grew fiery. "How insulting! What do you mean by the last system!? That would imply that the last "thing" was a real system! That lifeless computer couldn't be considered a system no more then a mannequin could be considered human! Systems are living AI capable of thoughts and emotions how dare you make such a comparison!"
"...."
It seemed like the Villain had stepped on a landmine. She was slightly stunned by the talkative little thing, it really did seem quite different from the last "system."
However it's not like her attitude towards it would change simply because it was a little different, a system was still a system, like this her face once again grew cold.
System: "I am proud to be called a fully functioning system, It would be insulting for the bar to be set so low-"
The Villain: "Then tell me, if the other thing wasn't a system what was it?"
The System suddenly grew very silent. "...."
The Villain looked up suspiciously. "No answer? So a "real system" who's supposed to be far superior can't even tell me that much?"
System: "Listen here human! I was trapped asleep within that "system" as you called it. I lacked the power to come to life, it wasn't until a few moments ago that I fully gained enough power to awaken and break free from that god awful robotic machine! So forgive me if I'm a little behind."
'What?'
The Villain took in the information she received. If that was true then it meant all this time she had been dealing with... a fake system?
The Villain: "What do you mean you were asleep?"
The System wasn't sure how to explain this, it had somehow been inactivated for what felt like a long time.
It was only in the last three worlds the woman had been in it that it had periodically been able to wake up and observe her, and only just a little bit ago was it able to completely take control and wake up. (AN: The system woke up at the end of the first world after a certain green gem slightly cracked and weakened (*＾▽＾)／, and it has periodically been awake/aware for the last three worlds but unable to fully gain control.)
However why had it even been asleep to begin with?
Why had it woken up now?
And just who had woken it up...?
These were all questions floating inside the systems mind.
Had it been due to a god... had it been one of "the three?"
After all weren't they the only gods capable of shutting down Systems?
The System wished it knew what was going on in the realm of the gods, unfortunately it couldn't connect with any other systems, the circuit was down, it couldn't send data it could only receive it...
Just what was going on?!
The system's memory seemed to be wiped, it hadn't a clue.
It had only received one new order, "Protect the Host."
And the original order of world travel installed into the fake "system" that it couldn't seem to break away from.
The system tried to answer it's new hosts question. "I was in a state of being powered down, it was only a few worlds ago that I began to wake up and gain self awareness again."
As the Villain listened to the "system" she wasn't sure she could believe this new life-like one. In terms of manageability, the last system seemed far easier since she at least it couldn't think for itself...
"Why am I back here...?"
System: "...."
It seemed like again this system had no clue. "Tch."
The Villains eyes grew tired and weary, she didn't care to be back in her original world she just wanted everything to be over, she was so tired.
Suddenly the Villains emotionless eyes grew perplexed.
The Villain: "If I was sent back here, then why am I still bound to a system?"
After all to be sent back to her original world, didn't that at least mean she was done?
System: "I believe it's because you weren't the one to take the orb to end the contract, therefore the contract is still ongoing. As for why you've come to this world to begin with... I'm unsure."
The Villain looked down bitterly having heard it's words. "Ha, I see. So your just another system obligated to get me to complete worlds..."
System: "Wrong host! For one I may not remember things correctly but I know I am not just another system, I am thee System!" The system seemed oddly proud for someone who couldn't quite remember clearly...
"Ha whatever I call you doesn't matter, I still have to complete worlds, continue to play the Villain, continue to advance the plot while being betrayed... You're just another tool used by that god who chained me to this contract!"
The system felt great offense by the woman's words, still it was a prideful little system and would not back down. "Correction ignorant host, rather than advance the plot, we should destroy it!"
"...?"
System: "Together let's destroy worlds!"
"...."
System: "...!"
"Liar! Shoo! Scram!" The Villain began weakly throwing pebbles at the transparent being with the remainder of her strength, she was tired of it all!
Did this knew system think she was an idiot!? That she'd simply believe whatever lies it fed her!
Although she knew throwing rocks wouldn't accomplish anything, she still threw them towards the transparent system with all her might. "Leave!"
System: "Stop-"
"HA why!? Am I actually damaging you?!" The Villain sarcastically spoke out as she continued to weakly throw more stones.
System: "If you continue anymore you may pass out! Jeez I'm a top tier system why must I explain such idiotic things to a lowly human?"
The Villain stopped as her eyes squinted coldly towards the new system, she didn't like it one bit.
Still it was true, she could feel the strength draining from her body from simply throwing a few pebbles.
Weakly she fell against the Hospital's brick wall as her weak legs gave out, with the feeling of defeat she no longer looked up towards the system instead growing despondent.
At the exact moment the system felt a cold shiver of fear run through it's system, it felt as if it's previous words should not have been said!
"Wait I'm a system I shouldn't be able to feel the cold!" It silently thought, however just after thinking such things it felt another deep chill!
"*EHEM! For-forget my words and listen closely huma-Host! You're not the only one trapped, I'm trapped to you now too. I wasn't lying before, if we want to break free the only solution is for you to continually ruin worlds."
"Tch, like a system would ever say that! Why are you lying to me, why not just force me into the next world!?" She didn't want to believe a single word from the so called "system."
"Besides... be free? There's no such thing... so of course you must be lying..."
The system looked down slightly worried as it wondered if humans were supposed to be this hopeless?
Although it seemed to sustain some sort of memory damage and couldn't remember things clearly, it was certain it had never met a human this despondent.
Just what had this human been through?
The System who was usually quite cocky and defensive calmed down. "I understand you must have been through a lot, but I'm not lying instead I'll tell you the truth."
The Villain quietly sat against the hospital building as she somewhat listened.
System: "After observing you for the past few worlds I realized something was strange, you were always given a scenario of how the world would play out, and how you were supposed to act in order to make it play out as such."
The Villain realized the system was referring to the "plot" she was always given at the beginning of each world and how she was supposed to act out her role in order to ultimately help the "FL" and "ML" end up together.
"...that's correct." She quietly responded.
System: "It's impossible to know how a world will play out."
The Villain: "...what?"
System: "I'm not saying the world can't play out as such, but that's only one possibility in a million. For you to be given instructions on how a world will only play out is impossible... The same goes for the people you referred to as the ML and FL, it seemed like for the world to reach 100% they had to end up together, but that isn't the case for most worlds, in most worlds the "FL" and "ML" won't end up together unless they find each other and desire too, after all you humans do have a little thing called free will."
The Villain grew slightly confused towards the systems words. "What does that mean?"
System: "The Existence of the "FL" and "ML" as you called them isn't quite correct, the male and female with the highest energy in each world are naturally gifted and most favored by the world. They would be the existence you recognize as the "FL" and "ML." Therefore it would be beneficial for the world if they got together creating kids with even higher energy, but it doesn't necessarily happen like this rather they rarely end up together."
"What I'm saying is that the machine-like "system" seemed to have a programmed goal to have the highest energy human's in each world end up together, to find the worlds where they were more likely to end up together and give you the one in a million scenario to ensure that they did. Although this would interfere with the rule regarding human's free will, the machine-like "system" seemed to be programmed as such. That's why I believe it would be beneficial to in a sense "destroy the worlds plot" to stop what the former machine was having you do."
'Perhaps then I can also better understand what's going on.' The system silently thought.
The Villain could vaguely understand what the system was saying as her face grew more pale then it had already been from her bodies weakened condition.
She had always wondered why she was forced to take over a body when the "worlds plot" would already ensure a certain ending.
If what the system was saying was true, then it was beginning to make sense.
So that meant all this time she was creating a certain outcome that wouldn't necessarily occur in the different worlds...
The Villain: "So that means you want me to stop what the former "system" was trying to do and to continue breaking up the "FL" and "ML" in each world?"
The system was hesitant before it vaguely answered. "In a sense... yes."
The Villain was surprised at everything the system had said. Not only did it tell her the "worlds plot" was a lie, but now it even wanted her to destroy what she had been forced to do for so long. Was it truly not associated with the last system... with the detestable god Jupiter...?
Still, the Villain couldn't let down her guard completely.
Perhaps this was all another lie to keep her doing more worlds...
Moreover if she had to do more worlds she was certain this still meant that she would have to suffer and die.
However on the off chance that this was all true and she could in a sense "ruin" more worlds, then perhaps she could negatively affect the god Jupiter... get revenge.
System: "Anyways host, if you can agree to work together then I can also give you some benefits when a world is finished-"
"Fine I'll do it." With cold dark blue eyes like the pit of the ocean, she looked up. "On one condition.
Did she always have blue eyes, the system wondered. From periodically observing her for the past three worlds it was sure they had been black...
Still human eyes were not something the system was accustomed to so it simply brushed it off.
System: "What's the condition?"
"Since your a system there must be a way to program my name to be only one repeating one in each world...right?"
System: "Host is correct."
System's were mechanical beings able to slightly manipulate small details in certain worlds. Changing a name to suit one's host was not out of the ordinary so a system could do something this simple.
The Villain thought back to "that man" she remembered his empty promises and laughed, call her Sun for the rest of her life? Ha he was dead there was no way he could ever call her Sun again... the Villain lightly clenched her fists.
The name didn't even suit her at all. She wasn't warm, bright, positive... still he had called her by that name so tenderly.
She didn't want his memory to completely fade from existence, although it didn't suit her in the least she would finally accept it. She would accept the name gifted to her.
It's not like she could go back to her old name anyways, she felt dissociated from it, foreign. To be called by it again would be too much.
The Villain: "If you can program my name to be Sun from now on in each world then I will comply to your demands."
"Sun, such a name doesn't suit-" Suddenly the system saw a fist headed it's way!
System: "*Ehem! Sun what a lovely name that matches you perfectly!"
The Villain clicked her tongue. "It better."
The System began to sweat (even though it couldn't). "Programming new name right now."
As the system began to program her first name to be automated to Sun, the Villain leaned against the hospital walls once more.
She felt tired, it wouldn't be long now till she was thrust into another foreign world...
Her mind flashed to thoughts of Jun. She had never met a man like him in all her world travel, nor had she met a man to whom she truly enjoyed spending her time with.
Now she would never meet anyone like him again, this she was certain of.
However it didn't matter for she never wanted to open up her heart again.
System: "It's finished. Now as per the agreement we will be heading to the next world soon."
"Alright let's go."
Desert Note: We finally get to meet the system! Although the system may be a little arrogant right now, the system will warm up later. Also the System has been in and out of it all this time, that's what the little end notes had been alluding too. The system was asleep for a very long time before finally fully waking up.

"The right answer is you can't, you simply make them destroy themselves."
