Damien's Pov
After what happened at the party it was if I saw Elonique in a new light, like I was completely drawn to her.
She is truly beautiful from the crown of her head to the sole of her feet. Beautiful inside and out.
Her melanin that compliments her dark brown eyes that shines so brightly.
A body that is outlined like that of a hourglass.
A soul that I think I'm completely falling for.
Her personality so pure and likeable, with a heart of gold.
She is so delicate like that of flower ,if not paid heed to will no longer stand upward in state but downward like that of a sad person.
She deserves the absolute best and if I was to get close to her she would become that flower that is sad.
Little by little would she wither away from me till she would be gone completely like a decaying body.
So it would be best if I stay away to not put her ever in that predicament.
Seeing her makes me happy yes, but I need to get her over me because I'm not worth a headache, a heartbreak, pain or tears shed of her,that I know would surely come along with me from prior experiences of other girls.
I'm a rollercoaster ride ,a trainwreck of emotions honestly.
I'm a mess , I'm completely fucked up ,I thought as a laugh with no humour behind it came right out, shaking my head.
Elonique I'm not the one for you.
Getting with other girls distracts me for a while to not get a thought of you.
I do like you,but I'm not the guy for you.
As I saw her coming down the hallway , a smile etched on my face but my view was suddenly blocked by the lips that came in contact on my own of another.
I reciprocated in attempt to block her out of my mind, thinking that she'd walk away as soon I did that.
I saw the hurt on your face, it made me sad to see her sad but if she saw the effects she has on me that would ruin what I'm trying to do to get her away from me.
I let her start walking away not giving me the attention but I then I said fuck it.
The girl in front me said something not catching on to her words as she left as I called out to Elonique.
As I approached her I told her what happened at the party was a mistake as I was out of it.
Again she had that frown etched on her beautiful face,but I had to lie to not get her hopes up about us being together.
I started walking towards class and realized she had stopped walking seemingly stuck in a trance looking lost.
I could probably guess she didn't expect that answer, I observed her face closely ,giving her a small smile, to hide my actual reaction as I held her hand to pull her along.
As I held her small hand ,it felt quite comfortable as if her hand was the right fit for mine as I knew before.
If I was to be with Elonique ever
It would take a lot of shit to go through.
We are friends as I said ,but if she keeps reeling in me in as I try hard to fight it,and she ends up pulling me till she has me in grasp.
Then consider me the fish ,as she's the fisherman.
She has a bait and if I willingly take it I'm a goner.
This I would say is a battle of love though I'm winning how long before I'll be the one surrendering.
