Lilith kept standing up on the tips of her toes to look over the new students, in search of her friend.
The only friend from the Ghoulies who had forgiven her- as always.
The friend who's been with her since the beginning.
The second she spotted the sea of leather she stepped back to Archie's side, "I can't find her."
Archie nods, "She'll be here."
Lilith kept in search for her blue haired friend, zoning out so hard in her wandering eyes only to be torn back by a familiar angry voice.
Sweet Pea stood tall and strong at the front of the Southside transfers. Lilith had tried not to wonder if he would be here, seeing him made her upset- nervous.
The Serpent was ready to throw himself at Reggie Mantle's bulky figure until Archie intervened.
"You don't speak for the Bulldogs, Andrews." Reggie quick to respond with anger. He wanted a fight, wanted to prove who's school this was.
"Obviously not or maybe we would have won last week." Reggie's anger was focused in on the beautiful girl besides the ginger.
"Shut up, crack whore." Everyone watched a big grin take over the girls face at his insult, confused at her amusement.
"You wanna talk about whores, Mantle?" Lilith grinned giving him a slight turn of her head, only intensifying everyone's assumption that she was crazy.
Sweet Pea could see the Ghoulie in her at that motion- wondered how he'd missed all the signs.
The football players behind him laughed, the whole team had a small obsession with the girl. They all wanted the ultimate bragging rights of screwing her. They walked her class to class, carried her books, held open doors if they saw her coming. It has always made her laugh.
Sweet Pea, Jughead and Archie watched as she approached the boy, all ready to pull her off of him in the blink of an eye.
"Lili." Sweet Pea's loud voice or maybe it was the nickname that held so much in it, made her step around the bulldog.
"Boo!" Lilith laughed out at the teens jump, his fear bringing her great joy.
"We don't want Southside Scum in our school." Cheryl's words made everyone roll their eyes.
Lilith wouldn't ever admit it but hearing Cheryl say that hurt. Knowing that Cheryl would've hated her if she knew where she came from, that Cheryl wouldn't have ever let her help had she of known.
"You've already had it here, Cherry." Lilith called out as she continued her retreat, knowing if she stayed she'd attack.
Cheryl frowned at the girl, unsure of what she meant by saying such a thing.
Nobody could help watching her go, her outfit as somber and tight as always. Raven hair almost seemed to shimmer under the school's lights. Sweet Pea glared at the sight of every single football player staring after her, two even moving to follow.
"She's okay, the boys treat her like royalty." Archie stopped Sweet Pea from following after too, only to bash the two's heads into lockers.
"No, Andrews. They wanna fuck her." Sweet Pea glared hard, wanting to hit the boy.
"They never do though. Lilith doesn't mess around with anyone." Archie wouldn't lie and say he hadn't ever tried to her with the pretty girl. She never really spoke to anyone, only gave off that tempting smirk and laughed.
"And she barely talks to them unless they have money in their hands." Archie added.
Archie's words comforted Sweet Pea, knowing she hadn't ever wanted one of them. Reminding him of how much she had wanted him, how much he missed his girl.
Soon enough the two groups of arguing teens were broken up, Jughead immediately going to track down his friend.
Lilith leaned against his old locker, picking at her nails.
"Welcome back to Hell, Jones." Her blue eyes seemed freezing cold. It's almost like Jughead had watched them grow cold over the past weeks.
"Didn't have to shut down a school if you wanted to see me again." Jughead rolled his eyes, Toni laughing behind him.
Lilith smiled at her, glancing to the two others, "Same goes to you guys, I'm only a call away."
Sweet Pea had immediately noticed the fact she wouldn't look at his face. As if she was pretending she hadn't seen him.
"Hi, Hellion." The female voice made Lilith grin big, the first real smile Jughead had seen from her in a long time.
Lilith shoved past the three Serpents, they watched her throw herself into a blue haired girls arms.
"You fucking Bitch!" Despite Lilith's crude words she held Sami closer.
"Who'd you fuck to get me out of Seaside?" Sami joked but it still made Sweet Pea tense, his jealousy flaring hard. A part of him still held Lilith very close to his heart despite his raging internal war.
"Anyone and everyone for you, baby." Lilith kissed the girls cheek, catching everyone off guard as she tugged her friends closer to the group.
"Everyone this is Sami." When Lilith looked back at Sami's face it's like she could see her violent thoughts radiating out of her.
Sami stared hard at the tall boy, a tall attractive boy who watched her friend with gentle eyes yet a tensed figure. Sami remembered Lilith's words, "tall, serpent, puppy eyed"
In seconds she went to jump at him, break his nose for breaking her friends heart. Lilith had her clutched in her arms, feet off the floor before she could though. She was much quicker, the Serpents barely having a second to react before Lilith had grabbed her.
"Asshole!" Lilith didn't know if the insult was to her or to Sweet Pea, either way she fought her friend further away from him.
Sweet Pea was just as confused as everyone else as he watched the fury on the girls face, a girl he had just been introduced to but knew a lot from the stories Lilith shared.
"Knock it off before I knock you out, Sam!" Lilith's forceful threat made Toni take a step forwards, as an offering of support.
"It's an order, Sami!" At this Sami's raging eyes turn to her friend, at the end of the day Lilith was her queen over everything.
The boys glanced to each other as the girls anger filled movements halted.
Sami gestured towards Sweet Pea, "It's you, right? She wouldn't have stopped me otherwise, you're lucky."
"Must've been a good lay if she ruined everything for you." Sami gave him a crude look over.
At her words Sweet Pea looked towards Lilith, a girl who had confessed her love for him and almost died because of it in the same week.
"You won't be finding out." Lilith's grinning face surprised everyone, they had all assumed when it came to someone sleeping with Sweet Pea; she would be more than serious. They had expected her to be murderous.
For some reason it upset Sweet Pea to hear her shrug him off like that, as if that's all he was to her.
But Toni saw it.
A dark glaze in Lilith's bright eyes as they narrowed on Sami, a silent threat passing and a tiny blink of acknowledgment from the blue haired girl before Lilith straightened.
"Anyways! Jughead, Toni, Fangs and as you know SP." Lilith gestured to each as she spoke.
"The one you liked enough to let dom you." Sami teased with a glare which only made Lilith hit her arm.
Finally she looked up, into his eyes. It almost seemed like she had been locked in the stomach when their eyes met, it hurt deeply.
With a gulp Lilith turned back to Sami, her Ghoulie tendencies overtaking the news her that the people behind her had brought out.
"Let's go fuck with the Norths." Jughead was surprised, the girl had always stuck to her own and honestly never caused trouble.
"Lilith." Jughead called only to have Lilith give him a sad look over her shoulder, as if to tell him she had to, it was her duty to raise hell.
News had spread quickly that Reggie Mantle had gotten the Serpent's leathers banned and besides the fact it didn't affect Lilith she was still fuming.
When she had finally found her target she didn't hesitate to grab either side of his letterman jacket covered shoulders and throw him into a locker.
Lilith's thin fingers, covered in silver rings wrapped around the bigger boys throat in milliseconds.
"You keep fucking with the Serpents and you won't be able to fuck anymore, got that?" Reggie nods, his face turning a berry shade.
Lilith couldn't help but smile at the sight, even if his nails were scratching against her arms so hard it was making her bleed.
In a split second her fun was ruined, "Lilith!"
Her black hair spun around her, immediately dropping her hands from the boys throat. Reggie immediately broke out into gasping coughs while Jughead glared.
Sweet Pea and Fangs couldn't help the small smiles at Lilith's shit eating grin, her hands held up as if to refuse any guilt.
"What are you doing?" Jughead's tone made Sweet Pea glare, approaching him.
"Doing what you guys can't." Lilith glanced between the three, "Or are too pussy to do."
"I'm not a bitch." Sweet Pea's voice is defensive and angry, only burning the fire brighter inside of her.
"Could've had me fooled." Lilith's voice was a quiet taunt, her eyes looking him over for a long second. Fangs eyes widened, a small smile playing his mouth as he stepped away from the couple.
Sweet Pea took two steps so he was basically almost against her, staring down at her. Lilith couldn't help the shaky breath she took as she met his gaze.
Fangs waved Jughead over in absolute joy, almost jumping on his feet to rush them out of the hallway. Reggie had been long gone and Fangs knew this was the first time they had been alone.
The two continued staring, "What's with the attitude?"
Goosebumps broke over Lilith's exposed arms, she had to force herself not to smile.
"You know what." Sweet Pea couldn't help but breath out a small noise of amusement, remembering back to the last time he had asked her that. Remembering what it had led to.
Sweet Pea looked back into his girls eyes, "I'm not gonna fuck you, Lili."
It almost felt like her stomach consumed her heart, if he didn't want her physically it only confirmed Sweet Pea really wouldn't ever want her again. That she had ruined the first chance of happiness she had.
Sweet Pea watched in confusion as Lilith blinked multiple times, her eyes rushing away from his. Her feet pulled her a step away from him.
Sweet Pea's arm shot out before he could tell himself to let her go, instead he held her in place. Big blues stayed locked on the tiled floor, Lilith didn't want to talk to him anymore. She was terrified she would break into apologetic, pathetic sobs any second.
"You don't have to fight my battles, Serpent battles." Sweet Pea knew it was the only thing that was "safe" to speak on.
Lilith rolled her eyes, the sight of her irritated, slightly red eyes only making him more confused.
"It didn't have shit to do with you, Mantle called me a whore." Lilith pulled her arm from his, her eyes turning angry.
"And so did you." Sweet Pea hadn't ever had her talk to him like that.
"I insulted you based off of lies that I believed, I'm sorry." Sweet Pea was embarrassed of what he had said to her, a word he had used as a praise had been turned to something cruel.
"I don't care why you said it." This made Sweet Pea's anger at her return, his eyes forming into glares.
"You lied about who you were, Lilith. Maybe I don't give a shit why you lied, about what you said." Her blue eyes met his finally.
"You being a cruel teenage boy with a wounded ego is nothing to compare to the life I lived that I wanted to protect you from." Lilith's voice broke in emotion, her heart was pounding. Lilith was going to burst,
"I didn't want you to protect me! I wanted you! And the you I knew wasn't even who you were, not even a long shot." Sweet Pea's voice rose, Lilith looking to the floor.
"If not then what the fuck are you doing here, Sweet Pea? Why are you still standing here?" The angry tears in her eyes made the anger rush from his body.
"Because I want you despite how angry I am, despite how much I hate you." Sweet Pea watched the girls bottom lip tremble before she bit down on it, demanding herself to stop being a baby.
"You love me." Lilith ran a hand through her hand, forcing her walk back up.
"I don't give two shits about you." Sweet Pea smiled a little.
"I can tell when you lie now." Lilith rolled her eyes at his claim.
"You always over shoot it, it's not a no it's a complete brush of emotions. It's not I'm going home it's I'm going to fuck Kyle." Sweet Pea watched the girls face closely.
"I don't want you to cry, Lilith. And I don't want you getting hurt trying to get Reggie to leave us alone, alright?" The shorter girl nodded slowly.
"Even if it's hot to see you choking a boy out." A smile tugged the girls mouth as she glanced back up to him.
"You better not be letting any of these Bulldogs fuck with what's mine, even if I'm still angry with you." His brown eyes looked into hers closely, any residual nerves seeming to fall away from her.
"They can only dream." Lilith joked.
"I'm sure they do dream. At least mine are based off the real deal." Lilith smacked his chest at this, making him laugh.
Lilith still felt on edge, even when his large hand met the small of her back as they walked to lunch. Sweet Pea tried to pretend like he couldn't feel the girl shake.
Sami grinned like a wild animal when she spotted the two, "Couldn't stay away from her, could you, Snake?"
"Sami." Lilith was tired of her act, she just wanted to be a teenage girl again. To sit at lunch with her friends and the boy she liked.
"Be nice." Sami rolled her eyes but still shot her a smile, turning back to Betty.
Sweet Pea sat besides Lilith, despite their small chat in the hall and his gentle touch he didn't speak to her. To her this was him confirming he didn't want others to know, didn't want to be seen talking to her. Hell, Lilith didn't believe he wanted her at all. In his case Sweet Pea didn't know what to say, he was still confused.
"Hey stranger." A blonde boy with deep green eyes stared at Lilith, the table watching her eyes slowly melt into a glaze that only Sweet Pea recognized.
"Oh god." Sami chuckled out, "I don't think stranger is the right word."
"You free to talk for a second, Malyshka?" The only other man Lilith had openly loved to fuck asked, a glint of amusement in his familiar eyes. The Russian he claimed to have learned as a child rolled off in a nickname, little girl.
For a split second she let herself remember his tongue.
Zander was a second best to Sweet Pea but in this moment looking at a man she knew wanted to be inside of her and at Sweet Pea's lack thereof Lilith couldn't help but smile. Her hormones rushed to the surface, causing a slight blush to form. A light bite on her bottom lip as she looked him over in his black jeans and emerald shirt, the amazing physic she knew he had covered beneath it.
"I'll cover for you next period." Sami said out, knowing what Zander in her friends sights meant.
Sweet Pea couldn't help but stare the boy down as Lilith stood. Sweet Pea knew he couldn't stop her despite his growing fury at the males wondering eyes.
He had watched her legs closely as she stood, stared down her shirt and when she rounded the table to him the boy had ushered her away with a hand on her hip. Fury wrapped around Sweet Pea as Lilith glanced up to the boy, his hand moving to rest on her ass as they quickly exited.
"Who the fuck is that?" Sweet Pea snapped as he watched his girl basically get stolen from him.
"Hm. Your replacement for the time being it seems like." Sami gave him a cruel smile, she wanted to push her limits.
"What do you mean?" Jughead asked, Sweet Pea hadn't dared to. He didn't want to know.
"The only other our little demon loves devouring." Sami laughed out, watching Sweet Pea's expression.
Sweet Pea only slammed his hands onto the table as he stood up and quickly stormed out the opposite way of the two teenagers.
