Jimin woke up the next morning still sore and tired but when he opened his eyes fully, he noticed a small note on the table with packed ramen. He had no idea how a small smile lit up his face as he picked up the note.
Make sure you don't skip breakfast
He put the note down and got up to freshen up. He always had clothes and other necessities kept in his office just in case he overstayed at work. He quickly washed his face and brushed his teeth. When he was done with his morning routine, he started to eat the food Taehyung had gotten for him.
Once he was finished, he cleaned up after himself and headed out of the office to check up on his patients. As he made his rounds, he was greeted by the nurses. However, he couldn't help but notice the females nurses were whispering among themselves. Most of them hid their faces because they were blushing really hard.
Jimin noticed their odd behaviors. He couldn't ignore them so he just had to comment about it.
"Yah... what's with you guys today?"
The women started to shuffle each other until one of them was pushed out amongst them. She was a middle aged woman. The woman lowered her head shyly.
"I know it's none of our business but we are really curious"
She looked at the others and they nodded their heads to encourage her.
"But em...are you dating Mr Kim now?"
Jimin froze. He stared at the expectant women and gulped hard. He started to shift his eyes in a state of panic. Suddenly, he began to sweat. Should he just ignore the question? It would be better but right now, it was impossible. As long as they worked here, they were bound to find out sooner or later.
"Well...em...I guess!" He scratched his head nervously.
Half of the women including the one who had asked him the question jumped up in excitement while the other half hung their head in disappointment.
"I told you they would date! Better pay up!" The nurse who spoke to him yelled out to the disappointed ones. The others smiled open toothed obviously revelling in their victory.
Jimin shook his head in disbelief. "Wait a minute, did you all make a bet on my love life?"
The nurse smiled amongst themselves. "Sorry about that doctor but it's just.... we really thought you both should date already!"
Jimin was quite surprised watching as the other nurses nodded their heads. He had no idea these women actually sat down together to gossip about him. Unbelievable. Another nurse spoke up.
"Mr Kim is always coming around here and we think he has feelings for you but we were all wondering why you both were holding back even after he had broken up with his old lover"
" We really think he's good for you. He's a nice person. He's always polite to us and often brings us gifts. He even bought all of us breakfast today"
The women murmured in agreement. "This isn't the first time he's done something nice for us"
"We are truly very happy that you two finally took the bull by the horn and decided to date"
The women giggled and Jimin felt extremely anxious but somehow, he felt warmer just by their words of encouragement.
"Congratulations!"
"You look cute together"
"I hope we hear good news soon"
Jimin didn't know when he silently muttered a thank you. He smiled to himself. Taehyung had even managed to win over the nurses working with him.
Suddenly, he got a notification in his phone. He took it out and read it. It was from Taehyung.
It simply read

Jimin grew nervous. What's with Taehyung?
Instead of focusing on the message, he decided to work, ignoring the strange faint feeling in his chest. In the afternoon, he received another message.
"Have you eaten?"
At first, Jimin didn't want to reply but after a while, he decided to answer.
"No!"
"Then I'm coming over. Let's have lunch together"
Jimin was uneasy. This was so unexpected. So out of the blue. Taehyung was acting really weird. He was actually acting like he was serious, like he was really ready to truly court him. Jimin began to sweat. He felt so unprepared. Maybe he should just run away but that would be rude of him so he waited until Taehyung eventually arrived.
In the afternoon, Taehyung entered the office and on seeing him, Jimin's heart skipped a bit. Taehyung looked so good that day. He was well groomed and he smelled so nice. He came closer but Jimin shifted back causing Taehyung to burst into laughter.
"What are you doing?"
Jimin pouted "I should be asking you that. What are you doing? You don't need to do all this. Bringing me lunch at work"
Taehyung grinned. "I'm your man now. It's my duty"
Jimin frowned. "No it's not. It makes me uncomfortable!"
"Uncomfortable? Well you should start getting used to this because this is how I treat my lovers"
Jimin reddened.
"I love to spoil them rotten and do things like this very often. You should expect things like this from me from time to time. I can also be very spontaneous"
Jimin sighed. Taehyung chuckled enjoying the look on his face
"What are we waiting for? Aren't you hungry?"
He pulled Jimin to sit beside him and started to arrange the food on the table. They were all appetizing. Taehyung started to dish out the food onto a plate while Jimin watched him, rather he watched his handsome face and found himself smiling.
"So, how was work? Is the patient okay?"
"Yeah... he's fine. He's much more stable now"
Jimin didn't talk again. He was too busy paying all his attention on Taehyung. No one had ever been this caring towards him since his mother's death. The only one who bothered about his existence was Nanny Ji hye so it felt very nice to have someone ask if he had eaten or generally ask how his day was. They both began to eat but Jimin was still watching him.
"Tae?"
"Mmh?" Taehyung answered absent mindedly, amidst mouthfuls as he spoke.
"Thank you"
Taehyung stopped eating and looked at Jimin deeply. The latter lowered his eyes shyly and bit his lips.
"No one has treated me this kindly before apart from Nanny Ji Hye. This is a first for me"
Taehyung smiled. "You like it?"
Jimin's whole face turned red and he kept twisting his fingers nervously. He nodded his head.
"Then I'll keep on doing this as long as it makes you feel good"
Jimin was so flustered, he didn't know what to say. Taehyung focused his entire attention on him.
"Jimin, I want us to get along. If you feel uncomfortable seeing me as a romantic partner, then we can start off as friends... slowly until you get used to me"
Jimin was confused. "Why are you really doing this? I'm the son of your worst enemy. Why would you still want to get along with me? Or date me for that matter"
Taehyung was quiet. He even seemed puzzled himself. After what seemed like hours of suffocating silence, he finally spoke.
"I don't know. I really don't know. I can't explain it but I feel like I can open up to you more than anyone else. You feel like someone from my past which is stupid because I've only known you for how long... six months?"
He laughed nervously. "But...I guess I'm also quite lonely. I'm tired and I'm hurt and sometimes, I just want to forget everything....I want to forget all the pain. When I'm with you, I really do forget. I laugh and I joke. I become like a child"
Jimin was speechless.
"I don't know...I just really like your company. When I'm with you, I just see Jimin and not the son of my worst enemy"
Jimin's heart was beating frantically in his chest. His entire body turned hot. His mouth became dry. Water. He needed water.
He grabbed the bottle of water on the table and hurriedly drank it. Taehyung stared at him with amusement.
"Yah calm down!"
He took the water bottle away from him.
"Your words....they made me really flustered...I was shocked"
Taehyung chuckled. "Relax. It's not like I'm professing my love for you. I...just like your company. That's all. You're a good guy Jimin"
Jimin felt a tiny surge of disappointment well in his chest but instead, he waved it aside. There was no need dwelling on it.
"Come on let's eat" Taehyung urged him. They finished their meal together. Jimin cleaned up and Taehyung was set to go.
"Day One is over. What should we do for day two"
He looked like he was thinking about it as he placed a hand under his chin. Jimin shook his head.
"Are you keeping count or something?"
"Sort of. I wonder what day it will be when you begin falling for me"
Jimin coughed nervously. "Fall for you? I don't think so"
Taehyung shrugged. "Whatever you say Saint Jimin...no I got that wrong. Darling!"
Jimin gasped.
"What? Are you surprised? Don't forget that we are a couple now so calling each other pet names like this is a given"
Jimin suddenly grinned. "Really? I have the perfect pet name for you. How about Monkey?"
Taehyung's eyes widened. "Monkey?"
"Pabo!"
Taehyung snickered. "Now, that's just mean"
Jimin folded his arms grinning "you started it so i can call you whatever I want"
"Fine...do what ever you want darling"
Jimin choked while Taehyung laughed at his reaction. After a while, he stopped and casually strode towards Jimin who kept blinking his eyes rapidly out of nervousness.
"I enjoyed your company today. I'll come over again tomorrow"
His voice was so soft, it left a tingling sensation in his ears. Taehyung stared at his lips hovering over it for a second. Jimin thought his soul had left his body as his eyes lingered on his lips seductively. The latter smirked, winked at him and stepped back before slowly leaving the office.
Jimin could hardly breathe. As soon as Taehyung left he gasped for air. That man was dangerous. Completely seductive. Jimin started to remember how Jungkook used to describe his relationship with Taehyung as one filled with intense passion. Boy he wasn't wrong. Seriously, it was hot. So hot. Was he really ready to be burned by this fire?
Friends? What a joke. With the way he was literally attacking him recently, how could he see him as a friend? It was impossible. Damn Kim Taehyung. Now, all he could think of was how he had looked at him and stared at his lips. This day was turning out to be one of those days he wouldn't easily forget.

Taehyung was smiling from ear to ear throughout the drive. Hoseok kept glancing at him from time to time and noticed his master was smiling to himself like a fool.
"Master, did your date with Jimin go that well? You keep smiling"
Taehyung laughed. "He is so cute. He's like an innocent puppy"
"Jimin? He's cute?" Hoseok said a bit surprised.
"Yes...he gets so flustered by everything I do to him. He's so naive"
"Wow.... Boss, I've never seen you like this before"
"Really? How was I when I was with Jungkook?"
"Like you lost your senses. You always sounded like some wild animal who wanted nothing more than to rip his clothes off"
Taehyung flushed from embarrassment. "Really? I was like that? Then how am I now with Jimin?"
"Like you've lost your senses too!"
"What?"
"Only it's more healthier. You don't act like you just want to rip his clothes off. You act more like he's this precious thing you want to protect from yourself and from the rest of the world"
Hoseok shook his head. "it's almost like you are trying hard to hide your true monstrous nature. Your normal self wouldn't have been this restricted, you would have found a way to get him to your bed already but here you are buying him breakfast and lunch..."
Hoseok burst into laughter.
"Don't laugh at me Hobi"
Hoseok stopped laughing. "Sorry sir, but I'm curious.... do you find him attractive?"
Taehyung's eyes narrowed. He licked his lips. "Actually, I do. I find him very very attractive. Right from the first day I laid my eyes on him"
He suddenly remembered the first day he met Jimin at beautiful special spot and how attractive he looked when he fell into the lake.
"Jimin has a fire in him that he isn't even aware of. He has built a wall over himself and guarded up so tightly so no one else can get in but I'll break down that wall slowly, little by little until I'm consumed by his fire"
Hoseok blushed. He was clearly very embarrassed by his master's shameless words. Taehyung continued
"But I won't rush it. I'll take my time. I'm not really a patient person but Jimin is worth it. He's so interesting, I can't wait to know every little detail about him... every little thing"
He drew the last word so sexily, Hoseok couldn't help but groan, consumed by them.
"One thing is clear master. You're a perv"
He laughed at him and Taehyung hit the back of his head playfully. A second later, his countenance changed.
"Have you scheduled the meeting with the share holders?" He said in a serious tone
"Yes sir!" Hoseok said appearing more professional.
Taehyung's lips curved into a sardonic smile. "The time is almost here" he whispered with a crafty smile on his face.
