The black ring that resembles lipstick slowly fades from Cat Noir's lips. He struggles in the yo-yo string for a couple seconds longer before going limp. Ladybug releases him and he slumps to the ground. Cat Noir lifts his head slowly, blinking drowsily before the familiar grin lifts the corners of his lips.
'What'd I miss?' He hops to his feet, looking between the two of us. 'What's wrong?'
'I uh-' I clear my throat. 'I had to kiss you in order to break the spell thingy.'
'Miraculous Ladybug!' Ladybug shouts, throwing the unidentified lucky charm up into the air. Huh. I didn't even know she had one. She glances at me. 'Yeah, sorry about tying you up.'
Cat Noir blinks, smiling. 'No problem Ladybug. So, you kissed me...?' He raises his eyebrows at me.
'Yep,' I quickly look away, staring at the ground amiably. 'I had to.'
'I have a girlfriend you know,' Cat Noir shakes his head. 'Oh, she's going to kill me if she ever finds out.'
I roll my eyes. 'I have a boyfriend, and it's not like I had a choice.'
Ladybug grumbles under her breath. 'Can we please just let it go? I'm going to transform back soon anyways.'
'You had to kiss me,' Cat Noir looks sceptical. 'Are you sure you didn't' waaaant to?'
I huff out a breath. 'When the day comes that I want to kiss you, Hawkmoth will be Gabriel Agreste.'
Cat Noir laughs. 'Gabriel Agreste? You mean that fashion designer.'
'No stupid, I mean the Ice Cream man,' I say sarcastically. 'Who else do you know that's named Gabriel Agreste?'
'I know his son's named Adrien Agreste,' Cat Noir says unhelpfully. 'That kid's totally awesome.'
I blink, somewhat taken aback. 'Yeah. He is. What's your point?'
'I don't have one,' Cat Noir smirks. 'But he'll be glad to know that you think he's awesome.'
'I never-' I break off, glancing to where Ladybug was seconds ago. 'Did Ladybug just leave?'
'Guess she got tired of our bickering,' He blows on a claw. 'I'm tired of it too, and I have a date, actually.'
'Well what do you know, so do I,' I say, turning away. 'See you next time Kitty.'
'Bye Princess!'
'Wh-what?' I turn back with a frown. 'What did you just call me?'
'Well dragon's are superior beings, are they not? I mean, my favourite character of all time is the dragon sin of wrath, and he's pretty amazing.' Cat Noir says. 'What-you prefer a different nickname? How about fire breath?'
'Hang on, are you talking about Meliodas of the Seven Deadly Sins?' My mouth drops open. 'You like that show?'
'Only watch it for Meliodas and Elizabeth,' He places his hands over his heart. 'They have such an amazing love story.'
'Please don't forget about King and Diane,' I sigh. 'They're a great couple as well.'
'Oh my god you like it too?' Cat Noir gasps. 'Wow Princess,'
'Don't call me princess,' I complain.
'Can't help it, you remind me of Elizabeth.'
'That's like the biggest insult ever,' I roll my eyes. 'Well you remind me of....of....'
'Later Princess,' He salutes me, falling off the building and gracefully landing on the ground.
