Gus screams "what happened to us? did I black out on the molar coaster again?" he puts both of his hands on his hip, shaking his head "sketchy carnival rides are not to blame this time. King had something in his pouch that made us small!" willow clarified.
Gus made a shocked expression on his face as he ended up falling on his knees "and I just got tall enough for the rides!." He balled himself weeping. A shadow then shows up right in front of them "gus.." willow points right a head.
The two of them looks up. It was one of those carnival pets, ready to eat them. Willow ran holding gus's hand to guide him. Willow and gus hid in a while plastic cup that was just laying on the ground.
They both pant, clearly out of breath "I think we're safe now" gus breaths out. Nope. The animals tongue started to poke in the plastic cup "eww!" Gus hugs willow "enough of this!" Willow eyes started to glow, using her magic to grow vines capturing the animals tongue.
The cup eventually went with the tongue, rapped around with the vines. That was an opportunity for them to run.
They stopped behind a cotton candy "quick! we have to find Luz and Y/n and get their attention before any more carnival animals hunt us down" she grabbed a bit of cotton candy, jumping up and down whistling to get some thing attracted.
A fly went down. Willow throws the cotton piece down "eat up little guy, lead us to safety!" willow hops on the fly's bag feeling confident. Gus, not so much. For he has a disgusted look on his face.
Willow glared at him, letting an arm out for him to hold on to. Gus walks forward sluggishly "It's so hairy.. why is it hairy??" The poor boy asked. Willow forcefully makes the fly go up "because up close, everything is hairy" She picked up gus letting him sit in front as the two zoomed away to find Luz and Y/n.

The trio walked around with each others accompany, holding each others hands. We walked passed by the friendship bracelet king wanted, luckily no one bought it yet. While the two of them we're still playing games, Y/n was looking around for matching bracelets for her and Luz.
As the two met up with Y/n, she was surprised that they literally have a lot of tickets that they won. We went on a ring toss area. Luz tires out if first but the bottles keep on moving to the side. King was ready to throw a fight but Y/n stopped him.
the (h/c) played it, It ended up getting in three bottles. She looks at the stand owner, widening my eyes like some lost puppy would do. The stand owner sighs, holding a bunch of tickets to give to us. We all cheered, Luz giving her a hug, spinning her around.
Of course she couldn't help but blush, all the time. Luz swiftly give her a small peck on the cheeks. Making her face red as a tomato "h-huh??" she was out of words "best friend kisses!" Luz smiled putting her down but her hands still on Y/n's hips.
Y/n mentally cry's 'why friendzone??. why!'
"yeahh.. best friend kisses.." she sadly smiles at Luz. But the brunette girl couldn't get the hint at the moment, but Y/n didn't notice the pink blush onto Luz's cheeks. King casually looks at them "ship it" he mumbles before going back on screaming at stand owners for tickets.
"where will we get our bestfriend bracelets Y/n?" Luz asked her "I dunno.. It actually depends If we spot one more matching bracelets here. We already have matching round earrings" Luz held her hand as she started to jump up and down "but those are just earrings! We need to seal our love of friendship with matching bracelets that connects with each other, like how we connect with each other"
Y/n blushed slightly "you know, It's kinda like your also king at this point" I giggled, she pouts a little before laughing.
[ Y/n's POV ]
"1,230.. 1,231.."
King squeals while the stand owner of the friendship bracelets he wants we're now counting his tickets. Luz and I walked over to him "Now, King, before you spend your tickets are you sure you want those friendship bracelets and not this bad boy?" Luz said pointing at a skull head that has red ruby eyes.
Unexpectedly It roars on it's own "I am the king of night. and every breath you take brings you closer to darkness."
"this guy's a riot" I said before poking onto the skull head multiple times, watching it swing back and forth "Yes, luz. I want the bracelets.. It's.. kind of important to me, okay?" I poked my head behind Luz's shoulder "just Luz? what about me, aren't I also important?" I asked.
"your cuddles are already enough" He said making my smile, my heart feels warm after hearing those. "I can be important to you. I, who have seen the birth of death and countless nations-"
I wacked the skulls head "Listen skully, shut it" I said as It whines, wanting to talk. The stand owner looked at us "where was I, uh.. well lost count. Okay, one.. two.. three.. four ..five ..six"
Suddenly, a cotton candy was stuck onto Luz's hair "luz- there's food" I said already getting my handkerchief out "ugh, gross! no Y/n don't touch it I want you to stay clean! I'm also going to need a mirror"
I looked around "ah, we'll be right back king" I took Luz's hand as we went to the house of mirrors. While walking, arrows of cotton candy were on the flood 'weird..' I thought. I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist pulling me back "ah! there we go, you could have fallen and trip over more cotton candy Y/n"
I looked behind. I could feel Luz's heart beat "m-my bad haha.. I got a little distracted" She lets go of me as we both continued to walk towards the house of mirrors. Going in, we were just following the trail of cotton candy, why? I don't know.
We stopped when there was a 'You Made it!' written on the ground. "aw, what a supportive sign!." We both looked up "wait a sec" Luz started to yell "Supportive signs!" because right in front of us, was willow and gus.
Luz started to run towards them but got hit by a plain long mirror. "Luz pay attention first" I looked over at willow as she started nodding and pointing down. And there, was the real willow and gus but.. tiny?
"Oh, my gosh" I said looking at them shocked "I double that" Luz also looked at them, shocked.

King finally went in the house of mirrors "heya Luz, Y/n. Good news I got the bracelets!" He said walking over to the two girls who were facing the other way. Y/n turns around "King.." giving him a death stare "eh??" he asked pretty nervous because of Y/n's face.
Luz puts her hands down showing Willow and gus on her hands. He then yelps in shocked "You splashed us with something to make us small" willow said as gus started to jump annoyed "and now I can't go to the big boy rides! you monster"
King grunts out of words for a second "you weren't supposed to shrink, y-you were supposed to disappear!- OhH, no, wait!" after realizing what he said he looked at Y/n and Luz trying to explain "what!?" Luz exclaims.
"No no no guys I can explain! I wanted to win the bracelet and there was this psychic, see?" He said pulling out the spray bottle from his fanny pack.
"That's probably the one that made them shirk, I had my suspicions on you right after you came back king" Y/n said taking out the small cotton candy's stuck on willow and Gus's outfits Glaring at the little demon.
"Give me the spray bottle king" Luz stood up walking forward with her arm reached out. But king denys to do so "no wait! I-I gotta explain!" He said hugging the bottle so luz won't be able to get it.
"There's nothing to explain"
Luz took the bottle, but kings little hands were tightly wrapped around it so he wasn't able to let go.
"I was just trying to-"
"-Shrink our friends!?" Luz said with an aggressive voice.
"I was just trying to solve my problems!"
The two played tug of wars but fighting for the bottle. The bottle was twisted open splattering the liquid on the three of them.
"Dammit" Before they knew it, they started to shrink the same current height of willow and Gus.
The two walked over to them saying "hi" without an amused expression. We all looked at king as he looks down with a guilty face plastered on his face.
"Wait I can fix it! Obviouso showed me how, behold!" He started to softly slap his cheeks "why isn't this working!" He panicked.
"It say it's working quite well" Tibbles came out of the shadows with his ugly arse smile.

[ Y/n's POV ]
Tibbles started to bring us in his tent. King still continuing to slap his cheeks "um Y/n, I think he is broken" gus said to me referring to king.
"Tapping my cheeks is supposed to turn us normal, the psychic told me!"
"Oh did he?" Tibbles looked at us with his creppy smile "But what if, he lied to you!" Tibbles used his magic to make some smoke appear.
Clearing up, he holds his other hat that a wizard would normally use and a mustache in below his pig nose "hold on" he started to dust himself and the hat before placing it on top of it's head.
He took a breath before re doing what he said "lied to you from the start!! It's different"
"You disgusting pig bacon fiend I will hunt down your own piglet family and cook them infront of you turning into crispy food. While eating them." I spatted, lifting my left hand up and down hitting tibbles hands.
"Feisty one here" Tibbles smirks. I stuck my tongue out spitting water on his face "when obviouso finds out you stole his mustache-... Oh.." King widens his eyes realizing.
Gus facepalms "the potion was designed by me! Guess who's cheeks control it?" Tibbles said with his same ol' smirk "why are you doing this!" Yelled luz.
Tibbles took of his mustache "when you destroyed my stand. You destroyed generations of grimhammer history! Now it's time to pay"
He took us in the dark tent. Tibbles placed us in a tank but with hays in it and some small carnival displays in it.
"Welcome too.."
Lights started to finally shine "the greatest show of the boiling isles!" His voice echoes around while the crowd cheers.
We looked around gasping "will these witches and demons survive, FEEDING TIME?" He looks at me smiling.
I gasped "you did not." My eyes twitching from irritation "let's find out" tibbles rings the bell on his hands.
We heard some growling in the small carnival tent. And there, the small animals that looks cute, are actually deadly up close.
There was this one unicorn that looked pretty innocent. Luz's eyes started to shine while a small blush crept on her cheeks "aw at least he's still my friend"
The unicorn turned deadly in split seconds. I was cracking my knuckles ready to beat up a unicorn when luz stops me "that's how friends react-"
All three of the animals started to head towards us "you ruined my livelihood. So now, you'll feed my livelihood"
Tibbles started to add more lights for us to be seen "lace your butts and enjoy the show!"
We were all standing in one corner "well.. if I have to go, least I'm with my bestfriends! And king.." Gus crossed his arms.
Willow and I saw the unicorn heading towards us, we both pushed away luz and gus so they won't get hit.
I up kicked the unicorns head before running away towards gus. The kick made the unicorn more wilder than ever.
Running away for our lives, risking on fighting them is low.

"Caramel crab apples.. get em' hot and pinchy" Eda yells, regretting her decision on doing her job right now.
"Hey over here!" Yelled a buyer "yeah yeah- gah!!." One of the caramel crabs pinched eda's hand "hold your spider horses.."
Gus started to use his magic, creating a vacuum. All of the animals started to shake in fear.
While guys was still distracting them, the other four ran across. Willow used her vines to grab the huge water bottle from the cage.
y/n started to run towards gus, dragging him away from the animals safely. They all hit behind the water bottle.
The lion bat charged at them, but it couldn't squish them by the bottle "we've gotta- find a way out of here!" Luz yells.
All of the animals started to corner us. A lion's paw was about to scratch Y/n's head when luz quickly hugged her on her chest closely so she wouldn't get hurt "don't touch her!"
"I'm also so sorry luz! If I wouldn't be so careless about kings feelings we would have been okay, if I die right now I just wanna let you know that I like-"
"I like you too! And I think its also my fault!"
Y/n's eyes widens. A small blush starting to brush up "Wait what..?"
The area started to shake again, which made her hug me tighter "gus move to the side more you'll get chomped!" Willow yelled "I'm trying!" Gus answers.
"Ah king you idiot! This is all your fault, but I think I know how to fix it" king says taking out the bracelet he got.
He started to run away from the four. Which caused them go get their towards the little guy.
"king!? What do you think your doing!" Y/n yelled as all of them peeked "Willow, gus! I'm sorry for poofing you, and luz, Y/n.. taking you guys away from your friends.."
The animals got closer to king "I know you'll both eventually go home and now you together spend more time at school I just want to be around you guys!"
Y/n's eyes widens, same goes for Luz.
King was able to dodge all of the animals attack which caused the audience to boo at us.
Tibbles took a peek from his coin stack "no refunds" until he heard whimpers. He turns his head seeing his animals all stacked up.
"Alright.. I only have one shot"
King threw the bracelets towards tibbles's cheeks. Which tibbles started to pat his cheeks "darn flies"
When he realized "oh no"
All five of them started to glow.
Meanwhile. The audience was booing loudly "hey hey, no discounts buddy" Eda pointed "you guys owe me! There's nothing happening to this show. Not a single one of those dumb kids have gotten hurt yet" one of the audience replys.
"Dumb kids?" Eda asks before turning towards the screen. There she saw the four kids "wait.."
"Those are my dumb kids!"
They all started to grow back to their own sizes. Since they won't be able to find in the cage. It exploded due to the tightness.
They all started to sigh in relief. Suddenly the animals also started to grow back. "are you serious you psycho pig!?" Y/n yells.
"You also shrunk the animals too?!" Luz and Y/n exclaims "It's the tent of tiny terrors. Something needed to be tiny" tibbles answered.
"Finish the job!"
"Boo!"
"Get them kids!"
"Feast!"
One of the people in the audience threw a caramel crab apple at a Unicorn which made their eyes glowy from the goodness of it.
It charged after the audience "You.. spoiled my plans! You will pay for this.." tibbles took out another bottle "this time I'm going to personally squash you-"
He felt his bottle getting lifted "Oh no tibbles that's not how entertainment works. The bad guy always gets his just, desserts"
Eda let the caramel crab apples fall over his body "oh no! Not desserts!" Eda smirks "hey girls! This one's on the house"
All of the animals started to look at tibbles, before running after him to eat all of the left over caramel crab apples.
"Looks like we ruined his life of a second time"
"We're on roll!"
"gus, willow! Your okay!" King smiles "all thanks to you king" luz says before kneeling down on his height.
"Here.. of was all that was left" luz opens her palm revealing half of the broken neckless. King took it, looking a little bit sad that it was broken "It's okay, because now there's a piece for everybody"
Gus and willow looks a each other.
"I- if you'll accept it, that is"
The two of them smiles "thank you king" willow took a piece *yeah, I've Always wanted to own a jacket piece of cheap metal"
"That's very sweet of you" Y/n said carrying the little one "I'm sorry you guys.. Demons do crazy things when They've been missing somebody"
"And can we tell you a secret?" Y/n asked with a soft smile, letting luz continue "we've been missing you too"
Luz kissed kings forehead while Y/n patted his head. He started to laugh cheekily "hey we still have a few hours of carnival left, wanna hit those bumper carcasses?" King asked.
"You bread my mind" luz responded as king cheered "yes! Bread puns! Bread puns forever!"
"you coming Eda?" Y/n asked the owl lady that's laying down on tibbles coins "nah I think I got everything I want"
The bleachers suddenly fell down.
"Yep, another bright year at the carnival"

While Eda, king, Y/n and Luz came back to the owl house.
Olwbert was still blabbering about his story with a fly. Causing the four to close the door again leaving him.
[ Bonus ]
It was finally bed time . Y/n was already in her pajamas. The whole day she was tired since king and her were challenging each other with other carnival games.
Luz came back in their shared room in her pajamas as well "hey Y/n" the (h/c) looks up smiling "hey luz.. remember about the bracelets that we wanted to get for each other? It looked like there was none left back there.."
"Oh, that's no problem at all.. because I got us one" she said smiling pulling out two bracelets that would connect to each other like magnets.
"No way! Did you buy it?" She asked "I may have borrowed it in one of the stands" luz winks "Luz!"
"I'm kidding! I got it from one of the games while you were talking with gus earlier" she said. Luz started to walk down towards her and placed the bracelets around her.
Y/n couldn't help but smile sweetly. Luz looks at her. The two locked into each other's eyes.
"B-by the way.. the part where you said that you um.." Y/n started to get into that topic when luz stood up smiling.
"Oh I just heard king call for me! I remember promising him on making some box crowns today, I'll see you later when we got to sleep, you could go sleep a head! Good night!"
She walks out of the room leaving the (h/c) sigh shortly, closing the door "y..yeah, seya later. Good night"
Y/n turns of the lights before falling right into deep sleep..
Luz stood there, behind the door. She lets out a shaky sigh "I can't believe I said that.." she held her face. It was burning.
Her heart was beating faster than usual. She wipes a sweat from her forehead before heading down to lie on the couch.
